This place takes your takeout order online. When you go to pick up,the place isn’t open . You are then told to go to their other place, which is in Beverley. You are given an option to pay by card online or cash on pickup, always put CASH . Takes a long time to get money back for card. Payment!

Absolutely terrible service. Took over 2 hours for delivery. Had to ring multiple times to ask them where the food was and it seems like they didn’t care and kept telling us false information. Food eventually arrived, but was cold! Wouldn’t order from here again and completely disappointed! Lack of communication and honesty from the staff.

Had a really nice takeaway from here tonight, got a menu through the door and decided to try it. The curries were lovely, really flavourful and the garlic rice was the best rice I've had from a takeaway. Really lovely experience!

Wow......simply Wow! Bengal Spice delivered meals for my wife and I 45 minutes ago. I had the gosht balti tikka madras, my wife had garlic chilli chicken. The dishes were ordered online before the takeaway opened, so I left a note asking for my wifes dish to be made mild. When it arrived (almost on time ;) the food was fantastic. My wife was very pleased with her food and my gosht was absolutely fantastic. Its a few years since I last visited Akhbars restaurant in Leeds Road, Bradford (which was without doubt one of the best places in the uk for curry) but my dish was the equal of what I ate there. Fantastic flavours, fantastic food. Well done Bengal Spice.

Usually not writing reviews, I even rated you 5 stars, as i don’t want to damage anybody’s business. I had worst kebab in my life. Are you for real serving that? I bet non of you would touch it in a right mind, what I just had. I think you should stop serving kebabs and stick to the curries and improve quality of them. Opened bag, grease everywhere in the bag, salad on top of warm kebab soggy and uneatable, peaces of old kebab huge and horrible tasting, chilli sauce like sweet chilli with fat, pita bread uncooked, swimming in fat as well. Also ordered curry, didn’t try yet, but I can see how much fat in there, on a good side naan bread looks alright.

Really enjoyed the food here, better as a takeaway than a sit in evening out but the staff were great and food was fantastic, which are the crucial points are they not.

Always drove past and have been meaning to try a takeaway and tonight i did. It was amazing. There’s very few places that do a decent pathia and the best i’ve had for a long time. Will most definitely be returning. Thank you.

Yet another just eat takeaway cancelling 20 minutes later - at this rate I won’t eat. Why are you on just eat if you won’t deliver 4 miles away? Shocking.

The food was fabulous absolutely loved the chicken Tika jalfrizey very nice and good amount of spice. Everytime I order from here I never get disappointed like usual Overall very nice food I would recommend 👌

Wow! We visited yesterday evening and it was incredible. By far the best Indian food I have had for a while - they can cater to your preference. Staff were full of smiles and the service was remarkably quick. Will look to visit again soon.

Sorry, I've never been. I have however visited moorside builders merchant just behind. I have also just bought some work trousers that were made in Bangladesh.

i ordered chips with extra chip spice and the basrds gave me none my mum has now got food poisoning as i went in ipeeked my head in the kitchen and found brown stains all up the wall workers are tramps iput salt on a plate and a month later me and my friend returned to find it still there dont visit as the workers are very rude and there is flies everywere if you order from here yourfood is not edible as these tramps dont know how to cook

Was parked up for the night I would never say starving but hungry that time of the night order a curry and all the timmings that go with it. 10, 15 minutes yes back to Selby energy Park goodnight god bless the Queen. 🙏

Love bengal spice! Love their chilli masala, they always do it a little milder for me when I request it!

Excellent, four of us had meals, all good, mine was the chicken sylhety Nawabi which I really enjoyed. We were staying on Drax Sports and Social club, they delivered the meal to us, it came quickly and still very hot. Would definitely recommend.

We have lived in Osgodby 5 years and tonight is the first time we have tried it. Pathia was perfect (I like it mild) and they did it spot on. Hubby had a donner kebab naan wrap which was gone in minutes. Will definitely be ordering again!

This is the most amazing restaurant! Sadly we're moving out of the area and will miss their amazing food. The staff are lovely and the Currys are stellar! They even brought is a parting gift of sparkling grape juice Every time we have ordered it has always been super early! Can't recommend enough!

Wasn't the best curry I've had. Very greasy/luke warm on arrival. Forgot the naan with my balti.

Very authentic food, obviously made from scratch by people who understand the cuisine. Delivered on time and really tasty.

Absolutely disgusting, avoid at all costs. The nann bread was not edible I have never seen or tasted anything like it in my life, absolutely horrid! The curry tasted of nothing but salt. Very very disappointed

Possibly the worst kebab I have ever eaten. The doner meat was sliced way too thick, it was under cooked and had a rubbery texture. Not nice.

It is generally fairly good, especially the staples, but can be inconsistent.

Really really disappointed with our takeaway last night☹ normally it's excellent and we drive from Selby to collect it, last night we ordered our usual chicken achari with onion rice, the curry was sloppy, not as tasty and very oily and the rice was oily too. Probably the worst Indian we've had in a long time. As it is the first time we've had a bad one from here we will probably try it once more but sadly if it's the same quality as last night we will be changing our takeaway to another as it was such a let down ☹

Very friendly staff and very helpful food was very good. better than expected. It is only a small restaurant around 6 tables. I would recommend for a casual evening out nothing too fancy but food is good.

Very poor. Worst take away I've had in a long time. Naan tasted like it had been frozen. Can get a better curry at home out of a jar.

Disgusting, terrible customer service and even worse food, i waited half an hour for a portion of chips that were cold, the UK's weather was warmer... Poor work

Just had a lovely meal the 5 of us left very full and with doggy bags. Staff very welcoming and friendly nothing too much trouble for them. We will definitely be returning.
