The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Visited on a Friday evening with a friend, from walking through the door until we left the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. I can honestly say that the food was possibly the best Indian food I have ever eaten. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Great food but the company they use for delivery is terrible I have deleted the app I ordered food but didn't get confirmations so ordered again then got phone call from Bombay to say I ordered 2 orders then the driver arrived I with my first order which I paid for on credit card but Bombay didn't cancel my second order after they new I ordered twice by mistake sorry that to me is not good

Not being able to choose what you want to eat is just absolutely crazy and it was not good food to make it worth the risk. No amendments to anything allowed, even asking for a spicy curry as part of the whole tables sharer was denied for 14 people. Asked for a menu to order extra sides was told it wasn’t part of the sharer menu so couldn’t. I really feel for the server as she was doing everything she could to facilitate it but had to say “let me go and ask the chef” to something as simple as asking for a naan. Even after this parts of the set menu we were meant to get didn’t turn up and we had to tell them it was missing. Forced charity donation and forced 10% tip on your bill at the end of this and to top it off wouldn’t even tell us what was remaining on the bill after half the party had paid so we had to pay over, when I asked the sever how much total we had paid she just said “that’s perfect” so unknown how much we actually tipped them by the end of it. Servers were fantastic. Food, menu and chef absolutely terrible

Spectacular breakfast options served by great staff in a beautiful setting. Could have chosen so mnay things on the great menu but was delighted with my naan roll with eggs and vegan black pudding on the side - wow! Great coffee too.

Fantastic food and great service, thoroughly recommended based on our visit. Nice restaurant with pleasant decor and the open kitchen (behind glass) is very impressive/reassuring. We had a biryani and garlic chilli chicken (with garlic nan), both were excellent but we will probably stink of garlic for a week! Congratulations to the staff and management, your Tripadvisor reviews are hard earned and well deserved

The quality of the food wasn’t all that what I expected. I don’t want to go into detail but they definitely need to stop making people smile when they come in and prepare the food which I used to like.

Waited over an hour for our delivery and items missing / by the time the item was re delivered the curry was cold, chips and nann bread were soggy

Fantastic authentic Indian food. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food. We ate with 3 people and could go on for 3 more hours.

This restaurant is the best in Leeds, we are a group of retired firefighters who regularly meet up for a few beers and a curry, we've tried loads of Asian restaurants over the years and this is the best by a long way, the service is exceptional and the food is amazing plus the surroundings are fantastic, great atmosphere and the location is second to non being within two minutes of the train station and within easy reach of all bus routes, a great place for couples and groups, cheers fellas, you're the best 👍
