We ate here before a show at The Alhambra. Located just up the road alongside the theatre it was perfect. We arrived at 6pm. We had been served and eaten our food with plenty of time before the 7.30 showing. The service was polite, friendly and attentive. The menu is excellent with Indian Classics as well as some in-house specials. The portion size of the curries is generous. Two of the guests took their leftovers home as they couldn't finish them. This place is home to a mega sized naan. We shared one between three people and it still outfaced us. Delicious food and an all round great experience. Will definitely go again.

Appalling customer service. Phoned to notify the restaurant that I had 2 items missing and they told me there’s nothing they could do and that “the driver probably took them”. Because they don’t have their own drivers they said they’d not be sending out the other half of our order that was missing and to just get a refund. That’s not going to help the fact we don’t have enough food to go round now. Will not be ordering again.

Curry very ordinary nowt special

Superb curry with gigantic naan bread! Good value and still hot when it arrived. Would use Omar's again.

Pakoras were really dry, curry was way too spicy. Was only meant to be mild an it was inedible it was so hot. Only good thing was the Naan!

Estábamos buscando un lugar para un curry antes de ver un espectáculo en el teatro, este lugar no decepcionó! No es el restaurante más grande, pero un montón de opciones en el menú. Tuvimos poppadoms, kebab starter de mezcla, dos curry, arroz y ENORME pan nan. El pollo era tan tierno y el sabor en los curry fantástico. Sin duda volvería de nuevo!

Good quality food, but ordered a korma, selected mild, and it was oddly spicy.

The delivery Driver asked me for a TIP. I said Sorry I don’t have Any Cash on me. I payed by Card. He said. Well give me something. ? I’m very concerned by his behaviour as a Woman Living on my Own I found him to be intimidating

I did not receive my order at all so why say it was collected .. I have lost my money because of this

ordered chicken biryani, sent pilau rice with peas in it. massive difference to a biryani. the raita was in the same bag as the hot food, so warm raita instead of cold. not ordering from here again.

Great dinner before a show. Could not get in our first choice restaurant so came here on a recommendation. Fantastic food served by Hassan and Prit. Will be back. Beware the naan. Ask before you order!!!

usually love this restaurant but tonight I ordered a grilled chicken salad as I didn't want anything spicy! I recieved a tray with barely any salad (almost all onion) and around 6 pieces of chicken tikka which is spicy which wasn't stated on the menu and at £6.90 it's really not worth it! like I said the "salad" was just onion and a few pieces of tomato and cucumber! I definitely won't be ordering this again!

Missing my order for the lamb chops starter! Rang the restaurant and the lady said they would not be delivering the missing portion.

I would have scored higher but paneer was really hard and the chops very tough. Curry and the rice however were really nice.

Ordered food for my kids its said delivered and driver never been there or left the order called the restaurant very rude they said contact just eat. We used to love this restaurant and order but never again! Left without food waited 45mins for nothing and payed for nothing! Very rude lady over the phone saying we cooked your food and driver delivered and she hang up.

Everything was lovely accept the chicken burger that had a melted cheese slice on it,who puts cheese on a chicken burger and where does it say with cheese.

food was cold had to put it in the microwave to warm up.

£7.00 for tikka and chips nothing in it rang the company for sauce they said it comes as a condiment no salad sauce dry

ordered 2 different baltis, neither was labelled so difficult to tell the difference. very tomato based for a balti, and sauce was quite thin. one curry was supposed to be hot, however neither tasted particularly spicy/hot.

I had the Chicken Balti Bhuna. Appearance and taste were similar to a ready meal. Was expecting it to be thicker and less watery... especially for a Bhuna.

Ordered chili paneer, family naan, mango shake and Raita. Everything was spot on. Enough quantity and best quality. I have never been disappointed after ordering the food from here.Omar has the best chefs of the city. Everyone should visit omar who loves the quality of food. 10/10 for services and quality. Half of the nann was uncooked. Seekh kebabs not grilled, they were deep fried, instead of naan asked for chips ,they put,counted, 6 in numbers.... Not recommended at all

Not been for many years but the food was excellent. The naan was of course massive and tasty. Place looked clean and staff were friendly.

The notorious naan was amazing and the meat karahi with bhindi was so tasty. I recommend to all to come try will definitely be coming back.
