Phoned up saying driver was on way 20mins after delivery time , who answered the phone was rude .

Lovely Aloo Channa curry and garlic naan. This is my go to for a curry now!

This is a restaurant I've used for over 25 years, and the food has had its up and downs, obviously. Under the current owner Jay its very good indeed, and the service is brilliant. I had a very tasty meal and a beer so alls good.

Ordered on line on their website. Of course when I got therethey did not know about it. Food was very late. No apology. Drink nothing. Unreal. Won't be coming back.

A little more expensive than other places, but 100% worth it. The spices are unreal. Absolutely top notch food. Highly recommend.

Curry nice good quality starter small for price

Food was worth the wait but placed the order in at 8.30 didn’t arrive til just after 10pm

Meat samosas are beautiful and filled with keema and peas which are hard to find these days as they’re more commonly filled with potato and the odd bit of meat. My main was a keema bhuna with boiled rice and a chapati.

Very overpriced for what you get. The mixed starter was very small for 11 pounds, same with the chicken shasleek, 15 quid for a few pieces of chicken boti on two small skewers with a weird siracha sauce, the sauce was something you would dunk your chicken tenders in too. Was gutted to spend 50 quid on meals what wasn't financially viable. It's got to be the worst chicken shasleek I have ever had. Naans were dripping in garlic butter, I know we asked for garlic naans but wow I can still taste the garlic this morning. The plate had a layer of butter on when I had finished. My girlfriend also said the same as me about everything. When them plates came out with a tiny naan bread and two tiny skewers on top I looked at her and just shook my head. The seekh kebabs are actually very nice but again, I wouldn't order them as the portion size wouldn't be viable, it would be nearly 6 pounds for two. I was still hungry. When I got home which isn't good after you've just spent 50 quid on food. I have put two stars because I haven't tried the curry, the curry might be good but don't know about the price or portion size with them.

The samosas were missing but the food was outstanding as always, I decided to try something different (ginger chilli chicken) it was beautiful

Service is great and all staff were really helpful. However the food is really average. I had a half tandoori chicken. It was really dry and burnt in places. I won't be rushing back.

Great meal but rude waitor. We had been there 5 mins and asked if we we're ready to order then ignored us and walked off in a huff when we said can we have 5 more minutes. The lovely other older waitor with glasses and a tash took our order. Later after our meal we ordered tea and coffee with milk but the rude waitor left cream for coffee and milk for tea so a friend put cream in her tea as he didn't say which was cream. We asked for another tea and again the rude waitor said well cream is for coffee and milk is for tea. I explained we asked for coffee with milk I never asked for cream. Been going for year's and I haven't seen this man before. He needs to learn how to be polite with people.

Gorgeous Aloo Channa and chips! I ordered the starter portion and it was just the right amount of food for me. My only complaint is that it cost me just short of £8 which seemed a lot for the portion size. The food is good but I'd maybe not order again for the price tag.

Evening food & drinks with friends. Attention to detail from staff was appreciated, thank you so much! Wonderful, tasty, authentic food. Starters were all good. Main courses: we all had special requirements like, korma/balti , more pepper/chilli please, all the dishes served were exactly as requested. Alcohol was great as most restaurants aren't serving beer and curry. We will be back!

really nice food and staff very busy would book before going

Kebabeesh has just re-open so thought we would give it a whirl. Staff pulled a face when we told them we hadn't booked a table, took them fully 5 minutes to decide if there was any available tables. The waiter then grunted for us to follow him. We were then seated next to a pillar in a very dimly lit area near the kitchen area. with no view at all to one side and with the view in the other direction looking at an unfinished, undecorated wall area. I politely asked if there was anywhere else we could to be seated in the restaurant and without a moments hesitation was told no, we are fully booked. I only had to deal with 2 members of staff and found both to be uninterested, abrupt and more than a little rude. We politely declined to order drinks and promptly left. If you are looking for a cheery can do attitude, polite staff and wanting to be made to feel special, 100% avoid the Kebabeesh.

Best Indian food and lovely people

despite being close to the restaurant, food was all luke warm. Kebab was so dry we couldn't eat them. everything was quite bland, only 6 small pieces of chicken in the bryani for £12.95. Samosa was nice.

Just ordered a takeaway the Lamb Nahari was frankly the worst curry we've ever tasted. At a cost of £13.95 I would expect more than 4 chunks of lamb swimming in a sauce which was like a tasteless soup. We've ordered this dish before so we knew it wasn't right. I called the restaurant straight away but they didn't offer to change the dish or help at all. Complete waste of money and sadly will no longer recommend or order from here in future. Finally, I would like to know why ordering from Deliveroo is cheaper than ordering from the restaurant directly. Takeaway prices are not published on your site so I assumed they'd be the same as on Deliveroo only to find prices were £ 1-2 higher per dish. Overpriced and awful quality today. Disappointed

Delivery was the only good thing about this… Bhaji tasted like cardboard, clearly not fresh!. Main tasted like a warmed up leftover with an added tin of chopped tomato chucked in .. Dire! Don’t get me started on the lamb chops, tasted like yesterday’s BBQ.. Never Again!

Expensive and average tasting food.

Used voucher that I had bought for me as a present. Decided to go for a teatime midweek meal. Prior to going on Holiday the next morning. Arrived just after 17:30pm. We were the first in the restaurant. We were courteously greeted and shown to a table in the conservatory section. It was lovely cosy and warm with the radiators on. Normally you find restaurants cold after just opening for the evening. Lady took our drinks order after we had settled. I had a diet coke and the wife a cobra. Our order was: pickle tray with 1 popadom each. A chicken Madras, chicken nawabi ( never seen before) Which you add the coriander,ginger chili and squeeze the over the dish served from a different plate. 1 Garlic naan and portion of pilau rice to share between us. Was a nice relaxing meal in a cosy atmosphere. My madras was the best that I have had in a long while. My wife also enjoyed hers with different tastes coming from the added accompaniments. Total price £45. The staff were very attentive throughout our meal. People started to come into the restaurant as we were leaving. Not bad for midweek. Will deffo be back. 👍👍

Me and my partner went for a meal for valentines. We had an amazing experience. The resturant is lovely, it has a great atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and the service was excellent, they really looked after us.... the food was out of this world, highley recommend the lamb chops starter👌 melt in the mouth.... all the food was cooked to perfection. Throughly enjoyed our night and will definitely be returning.

I always have a seekh kebab starter whenever I have a curry. This has to be the best kebab I’ve ever eaten. Fresh, tender, well presented and nice side salad. Main was a chicken tikka & keema which was so tasty accompanied with quality chaapatis. Equally as good as the starter. Can’t rate this food highly enough. This has to be one of the best curry houses around. Reasonably priced, always busy and it’s been around for over 30 years.

Overpriced 45 pound for 2 currys and a starter

Keema was a little runny and under flavoured compared to what I’ve had from other establishments. Tarka daal was under flavoured and tasted quite starchy. Free onion bhaji never arrived and still didn’t even after calling the restaurant. Garlic naan was over cooked/burnt but still very flavourful. Mint sauces which we paid for never arrived also. Tried delivery twice, there won’t be a 3rd There are better places which will deliver what you pay for. Not good value for money I would avoid !!

For the amount I spent I was very disappointed. Naan is stale and cold, starter is dry and tastes a few days old and everything cold. Curry tasty but cold and very oily

Food was nice but the service completely horrendous...... First of all this was our Christmas Dinner the family and I fancied having a change from the tradition this year. We look at the menu for the kebabeesh and £45 per head seem fair. I rang and book at table for 7 people paying £10 per person deposit in advance, Unfortunately 3 members of our family had fallen ill so unable to attend but thought this would probably just be taken off the bill. when arriving at the restaurant we notice that the price of the Christmas menu had increased by an additional £10 but hay ho no drama. We would ask just to see the normal menu, nope no other menu available set menu only. So ok we will go for that, everything came out fine portions very small and we had to share 3 currys between 4 of us. After finishing our food rather quickly asked for the bill and this is when the commotion started. Upon me going to the till to pay the manager straight away started justifying the bill with what straight away arguing with me before I'd even finished reading the bill. He explained he'd given me a discount off the drinks that was 2 cobras 2 orange and a soda water (still £23) and that I still have to pay for the people that didn't come. Additional bill £173 plus my £70 deposit. For 3 currys and 2 small starters and my 7 year old son had chicken nuggets and chips (£25) we agreed a price in the end but after a long heated argument. Not for me on Christmas day with family.

burnt fat for the popadoms. onion Barji was stodgy and tasteless. Gobi had more potatoes than cauliflower. chicken and spinach small and tasteless. very disappointed. worst £32 ever spent

Enjoyable visit from start to finish . My husband had seen a picture on Facebook that he wanted to try but was no longer on the menu, they made it for him and it was even better than it looked . The customer service was excellent .

The 3 cans of coke I paid for are missing

I ate here yesterday and this is a great Indian restaurant. I had a tandorri mixed grill (even though it wasn't on the menu). I also had a tarka dal which I think is the standard by which a restaurant should be judged. Simply delicious and friendly staff.

Wow! Absolutely delicious. Probably the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been too. Clearly fresh well spiced ingredients and friendly people too.

Mixed bag. Very nice restaurant and the food was incredible to be honest. However despite it being quiet on a Friday, unfortunately the service was very slow. Forgot poppadoms, had to ask again for them, then forgot pickle tray completely. Food really let down by service. Shame

This was my second visit to the restaurant, and the second time I’ve not eaten there. Table booked at 8, drinks served 8.45, 9.20 still no food. This was booked 3 weeks prior for 3 birthdays. Total let down and celebrations ruined. Will not be trying again.

Food good but very very late and a bit cold

Never order from this bunch of jokers on a Saturday night again!! Did not send what we ordered and tried to argue the toss when it arrived over and an hour and a half later! We've been customers for a long time and will never order again after the manner in which they treated us.

Poor food very 70s really disappointed, the masala fish was very nice though, service poor a lot of stuff gathered chatting, at one point they took my fork away with a empty plate so I needed a folk so after 3 or 4 minutes I got a waiters attention and he shouted from the other side of the restaurant what can I do for you lol I got up and took one of a empty table, so no not recommended at all unless you want 70s food.

Rang restaurant 4 times order was late and cold. Had to microwave.

Ordered from here tonight for the first time I was very disappointed, the 2 mixed kebabs I ordered all came burnt , the chips were hard and the chicken bhuna was really oily , I won’t be ordering from here again.

Just had a takeaway from here for the 1st time..we've eaten here in thr past years ago but thought we would give it a try. Hands down, the BEST curry I have ever had. And I reckon I've been to most curry houses in Bradford. Wow. I actually called the restaurant to pass my thanks to the chef. 4 curries and everyone loved it. Delivery guy was so lovely too. This will definitely be my go to place now and will recommend to everyone. Amazing!

Just ordered a takeaway from here. Ordered their "Tandoori Naan" which had dried up sweet coconut inside it, much like a Peshwari naan which we did not order. The biryani sauce was cold, tasteless and watery. The Tikka Masala was very hot which I have never experienced with this dish before. The 3 items were £28:00 delivered, it's in the bin and was a total waste of money

Had a take away .. all I can say me and my wife never agree but you made us agree!!!! We both said one of the best curry's we've ever had !!! Piping hot and so so tasty ... keep up the good work and we are definitely coming to the restaurant now !!!

Food was ok …went for the buy one get one free tuesday … orderd 6 currys 4 starters popadoms pickle tray two bottles wine cokes only to get the bill and buy one get one free only if you all have a starter so because we didnt order 1 extra starter we was only aloud 1 free curry !! Surely the waiting staff should tell you this when ordering …or at least a sign somewhere stating this …so because we didnt order one starter extra that no one would of eaten our bill was £145. Instead of £120 been going to this place for years wont be goin again

Very rude manager at this place. He has some anger issues & cant deal with running a restaurant. The manager needs further customer service training or his business will go down the toilet. I have 26 years of customer service experience and i can honestly say this is one of the worst restaurant i have come across. Your food may be mediocre but your rude and disrespectful service is a joke. Honestly whoever is reading this, stay well clear from this restaurant as this is a joke especially the manager!

Absolutely brilliant service and food. Second time here and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend to people if they are looking for a nice curry place.

Poppadoms and pickle tray was nice. Masala fish starter was extremely salty and the fish overcooked. On the Prawn/Chicken Tikka the Prawns were very good but the chicken overcooked. The Keema Madras was overpowered by the chillies and way too much pepper seeds. No other flavour than that. The rice and chapatis were ok. The Strawberry Cheese cake was very sour. To complement my experience here after asking for the (too) expensive bill, this one was basically thrown by this young rude waiter. Couldn’t understand what happened there… maybe he needs some basic training on how to serve and be polite at a restaurant. Hope everyone else have a better experience than I did. Never again for me.

Order from here most weeks can honestly say i use to rave about this place been the best curry’s around here however tonight our usual take out was horrible, all cold once delivered, curry’s had no taste, chips wet through asif they have been left stewing. Really poor and gutting as will have to try somewhere else now
