Madhuban2go in East Hampshire

I have ordered from this takeaway several times over the past year or so and have never had a bad curry. Food has been good every time. If I have one negative thing to say will be that the Onion Bhajis are more often than not over cooked and quite oily in my opinion but still edible and tasty😃

My first order was cold and tasteless, I rang the restaurant who said they will re do it and send it to me. This took over 40 minutes. When the new order came it was hot but bland, tasteless and just not good at all. I have been going to the maduban for a long time and they have lost a customer. I also will be letting my local friends know that this was not acceptable

We absolutely love the Madhuban, it’s our favourite Indian takeaway. This is the first we have ever been disappointed because the food was lukewarm, papadum was soft and naan & paratha breads were burnt and stodgy. Very disappointed as we love the Maduhban and this is the first time we have had a problem with it. Also delivery was delayed by 30 minutes but the just eat app was saying it was delivered at 6:15pm.

What a poor effort ! food arrived cold, 1 of the chapatis was rock solid and broke apart. both dishes were very oily. Masala was bland and watery, the Bhuna was very salty. Very poor indeed !! I've come to expect good things from Madabhan, but this was beyond awful.

Food early and barely warm. Not your normal quality service.

We use to love ordering curries from here. But this Friday was totally awful. Firstly it was 30min late, ie from order to delivered 1hr 30m. So, the food arrived luke warm. Then the takah dahl had a thick layer of oil on it. The lamb version of the Indian roadside curry was not like it used to be, now its sweet (was my favourite) it even had pieces of chicken in with the lamb (Bonus?). Yes, another thick layer of oil floating on top. A really bad meal from them.

We get the same food every 2 weeks for the last 3 years.. always been good. However last nights was terrible. The chicken biriyani had 1 piece of chicken in. When we called the manager he offered a refund which I’m still waiting for! Such a shame. Won’t be using them again!

Was the worst food I've had from them food was lukewarm and tasteless and to my disgust there was wood in the rice . So I won't be ordering again which is a shame as we've always had lovely food there . But I have notice that the last few times we've ordered it has not been as good as usual

I've not bought from Madhuban 2 go for a while but last nights meal was delicious and spicy, a very tasty meal. We will not leave so long next time.

There are some terrible curry’s out there but these guys are fantastic. Every curry tastes unique and full of flavour. I’m excited to have friends over to share Madhuban with them too! 10/10

Food really wasn’t the best. Lamb was tough and the sauce was neon red. Tasted more like korma than tikka. Can’t fault the portion size! Okay if you don’t know what to eat tonight but not the best quality sadly.

The amazing staff at Madhuban organised a feast for our Mum's 90th birthday, catering for almost 40 people in the Village Hall at Liphook. They worked hard to ensure that the event went off smoothly. All the dishes they provided were beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and allowed for plenty of extra helpings. The staff worked with the family to set up and clear away after the event and popped in regularly throughout the afternoon to check that we had everything we needed. We can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much.

Catered for an event we attended, all the food was delicious and the staff seemed very pleasant. Curries had loads of meat and vegetables unlike some catering where it's 90% sauce.

Brilliant food and quick delivery

The madras was oily, didn’t taste very nice and the chicken was really hard.

We used Madhuban to cater for a large family party (approx 40 people). The menu was agreed with them in advance and they delivered the food including heated trays to the local village hall. We had a mix of curries, both meat and vegetarian, plus bhajis and samosas and enough rice to sink a ship. The food was all excellent and the service also. They were attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. The cost worked out at less than £15 per head which we thought was very good value. Their takeaways are generally very good - we are regular customers and I’m very happy to recommend them!

Ordered quite a few times from here, this evening we decided to change our order up a bit. The Curry (chicken tika darjeeling) I ordered had no real flavour, seemed lacking in spice, the worst thing was the garlic naans which had no garlic flavour after all, I wonder if someone accidentally packed three plain naans by mistake. I really really hope this was a one off as madhuban have been great in the past so please don't let thus review put you off, and I will hope for better next time.

both curry's were swimming in oil and didn't taste of much. The lamb was really chewy and fatty. The only thing that was any good was the onion bhaji. Very disappointed.

Have ordered alot of times from liphook, first time the meat was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, over time the meat has got drier and drier, if your paying top pound you've got to do the buisness for every customer. The rice is always great and the delivery is always perfect. The tandoori chicken is great, always has been, Peace.

Lovely meals. We love Madhaban so it’s no surprise to have a great meal from Madhaban 2. Prawn Korma was so tasty according to my wife. Tikka masala excellent as always. Would not hesitate to order again.

Went for a set meal for two. Was good quality and neither the wife or me could finish it.

Food was cold. First time ordering and food was poor. Tandoori chicken was dry. Tikka masala wasn’t great and very little chicken in there.

Quality has slipped. The prawns were tiny but more importantly the curries all tasted the same and oily. All 4 of us thought it was poor.

We got a veggie set menu to take away last night. They called us right away after we placed our order online to give us a delivery time and the food was received in a timely manner. Delivered Take Away Thursday 13 April 2023. Ordered a takeaway on line for a local delivery 2.8 miles away. The food arrived within the allotted time and was delivered by a very pleasant chap. Unfortunately that was where the positive comments end. I have reviewed on Madhuban site Two rather sad Samosas were undercooked, soggy, rather oily and not particularly flavourful and certainly not the crispy vibrant parcels one might expect. The sliced lamb was tough, the sauce it came with was lacklustre and quite dull. The Peshwari naan was undercooked, soggy and chewy though it did have a reasonable flavour but none of the fruits on might expect in a Peshawari naan, just some sort of very sweet coconut / Almond paste. I have had better shop bought naan to be honest. Overall a very disappointing meal that according to the menu should have been very good. I realise that it was a delivered take away and therefore not straight out of the kitchen. However Madhuban to go is only 6 minutes away from my home. Unfortunately this is the second takeaway I have had with a similar outcome. I doubt I will be using the Madhuban service again.

This is our go to Indian takeaway. Good always arrives on time and piping hot and is of the best quality. Would highly recommend the lamb tikka masala and chicken dhansak. Portion sizes good and really friendly staff.

We rarely do reviews on Takeaways but we really should. Our locally resident Club Deputy Chairman and family thoroughly enjoyed their meals from this sister business to their main restaurant in Liss. On what was their busiest takeaway Friday of the year, the order was taken quickly and efficiently over the phone just after opening time. The selection was made from a very impressive range of different dishes on the menu, and delivered to the door hot and steaming within the hour. The quality of the food was outstanding and great value for money. They have certainly upped their game significantly since lockdown when it had suffered from a few issues which had let it down. Highly recommended if you happen to be in this part of the East Hants area. Fantastic! - IC

Just been for a takeaway, sign on door saying no entry without a face mask, yet there is a sign inside saying stand here and wiat to be served more than 2 meters away from the counter!! So I've gone elsewhere for my tea as I don't have a face mask, do you want customers or not??
