Absolutely poor service nearly a 2hr wait for food , couldn’t recommend it anymore, Been going there for 35 years poor Ali must be turning in his grave. Even managed to put curry on one of our guest shirt very bad night shame on you

This would have been a perfect meal except that they forgot to include our ordered and paid for naan breads.

Delicious food as always. Some new smiley nice waiters. Good value, especially on the Monday or Tuesday Eat In Deal. Easy parking right outside.

Clueless. The Jhalfrezi tasted of vinegar, nowhere near hot enough just not a Jhalfrezi. They also tried ripping me off. Charging me for stuff I never ordered but put on my table, I had one bite and they put it on my bill. Waste of money.

Very good food, I asked for hot and believe me I got hot. Our table of 10 all said their food was brilliant, even the people that wanted mild curries. Service was good without being over the top. We will definately return and have no problem in recommending to others.

Excellent dinner at The Paradise. We usually get take away from here but decided to eat in. Brilliant food, absolutely delicious and by far the best Indian in Hampshire. Great service and a friendly team. Would HIGHLY recommend dinner here. Delicious, delicious, delicious!

Fantastic menu, lots of variety, and the Pathia curry was one of the best that I've ever had. Plus they serve Bangla beer!

We visited here following the Petersfield festival and had a great meal. The restaurant was spacious and service was attentive. We chose a range of starters and curries, including tandoori mixed korai - I’d highly recommend! Will definitely be visiting again.

An overall excellent Balti house. They produce consistent quality food for both eat-in and takeaway, from a comprehensive menu. Personal recommendations include the Biriani’s, mixed Korai and Chicken Tikka Akhni, to name a few. I can’t comment on the dessert menu, as I’m always full after the starters and mains! The Paradise is well worth a visit.

Food too greasy for us & tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend this place. This is the second Indian place we have tried since moving to Petersfield. We went to the spice lounge & was disappointed. Someone told told us they recently won awards for their food so this looked very promising but again was not up-to standard. The service was slow having only 5 other tables in. It took an hour for our main course to come out (no starters) & the chicken bhoona had half cm floating on top of the curry so did the dhall. The flavours was not there what so ever. Disappointing!

Absolutely banging curry this evening 10/10 I've been coming here for nearly 20yrs and I can honestly say that I have never had a bad one...

We arrived without booking a table, which we should have done really. The restaurant filled up pretty quick which is always a good sign. Four of us were eating tonight and everything was great, no complaints regarding the food. Our softdrinks were flat, we should have asked for them to be changed, but we were having such a great evening. Would I visit again. But call in advance so not to be disappointed.

Very dissatisfied, clearly short of staff but still opened every table, extremely noisy inside and the curry labeled with fresh mint reaked of vinegar, clearly the mint came from a jar from a well-known supermarket. They would not take this off the bill even though it wasn't eaten. So if you enjoy poor slow service and an underwhelming curry in a very noisy atmosphere this is the place to be

Chicken padina was supposed to be made with fresh mint but had what seemed like an entire jar of Colman's mint sauce as a replacement, yuck. Insult to injury we were still charged even though it was inedible! The staff were running around and it was clear that they needed more staff. I would recommend this aloo Gobi though but not the restaurant.

Visited again yesterday and they have never failed, price is reasonable the food is always spot on and they are very welcoming I shall be returning when in the area

Really disappointed with our visit to the paradise last night. The food was fine no problems with that but the waiters were so miserable and often sounding rude. I'm sure they were not like this on our last visit. We even got asked to drink up and leave as they wanted to go home. When we did go there was no sign of of a cheery good bye and thank you. Not a work. Wished I hadn't of paid gratuity now. Please get some friendlier staff or at least some that seem interested in their job.

First time since going/having a takeaway since the 80's (though may have change name and hands since then) that I wasn't impressed. I had a very bland King Prawn Biriani - but what really irritated me was I probably got the maximum of 3 small king prawns cut up into miniscule (I mean tiny) pieces chucked in to a lot of unflavoursome rice. All for the takeaway price of £12.50. Somewhat a rip off. If you go for Tandoori Ratan as a starter (sharing with my wife) ignore lamb chops mentioned on the menu - it's one very little chop. Wife is going here for a meal in just over a week, be interesting on her dining in experience and if that's gone down hill too.

Four of us visited last evening to celebrate my birthday. We booked at short notice without any problem. The staff were friendly and attentive enough without being intrusive. The place is immaculate. It is fully air conditioned, which was great as it was about 31 degrees. The choice of food on the menu is excellent. we ordered many different dishes between us and they were all superb. They also have a good wine list. We were very pleasantly surprised when presented with the bill as it was a fair bit lower than expected. Very good value for money. Thoroughly recommended.

Had such a delicious meal including king prawn garlic tikka masala. Husband and daughter also raved about their choices.

It was a Thursday eve, first time visit here and we were given a treat. The food was extremely flavoursome and well presented, the nan breads were so light and fresh. All of our food was 5 star. The place was not packed and they have plastic screens to seclude you from other diners where needed and our waiter wore a face shield and gloves at all times. It really was very professional whilst at the same time not to negatively impact on a great dining experience if you get my meaning. More people arrived as we were leaving and all looking very happy with their experience. Our best Indian dining experience in Petersfield by far and looking forward to returning again soon.

Revisited on 29 Aug 2020. A huge effort was made for covid protection including screens between tables, wrapped cutlery, covers over the dips, etc. I find Indian restaurant food can often be oily and very filling but the dishes we ordered were beautifully cooked. The four of us in the group ordered both vegetarian and meat dishes, all were great. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Petersfield.

This restaurant is one of best restaurants in Petersfield they give the best quality of food which is worth the waiting time , there customer service is very quick and the taste of the food is beyond amazing . You could never be sick of what they provide as they sell such delicious looking dishes . I would advise a lot of people to go there and see the experiences I have had , you will feel very welcomed. They deserve a 5* and many more.

Most of my friends seem to quite like this place, but I stopped going years ago after having to deal with arrogant staff when collecting a takeaway.

Visited tonight with my family. We were warmly welcomed by friendly yet respectful and professional staff. The good was just lovely, was served in a timely manner on hot plates! The restaurant is spotlessly clean, well lit and the seating is very comfortable. A very nice meal and I would strongly recommended it.

Excellent food, great service and good value for money. Parking is either on the road or in nearby car parks. Highly recommended.

We visited the Paradise, with friends, for the first time lastSaturday night. We booked a table at 8pm and there was a pleasant atmosphere when we arrived. We were warmly welcomed & quickly offered drinks & menus. I was very pleasantly surprised by the menu- all the usual staples you’d expect plus some interesting alternatives such as pistachio korma. We ordered popadoms and a range of mains, sides dishes, naans & chapatis. All freshly cooked, no fluorescent colours, generous portions & delicious. Faultless service too. A really lovely evening, thank you. We will be back.

Apparently tell them you want their Monday / Tuesday night deal BEFORE you order or suffer an embarrassing argument when the bill comes. That said the food was all good, the nan in particular was perfectly cooked and all the portions were a good size. Drinks were £23 for 2 pints and 2 wines. Would certainly be go again

I must have caught the host on a bad evening, but, there's no excuse for his shocking attitude. Absolutely unacceptable. I was made to feel like he was doing me a favour, with just 1 other table occupied, you would imagine they would appreciate the business?!

On Mondays and Tuesdays they do a four/five course menu for only £14. Good food nicely presented. Waiting staff a bit subdued but attentive.

We had a group of 11 ladies who enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. Attentive staff and freshly made food which was excellent.

We were a party of twelve celebrating a birthday. This is an excellent restaurant serving freshly cooked and delicious dishes. The helpings are generous, and the staff most helpful. We arrived as it opened, having booked in advance. As a large party the service was a little slow to allow simultaneous serving, but this was not a problem in our case. The menu is large as one would expect, but a sample of the various dishes ordered showed a good range of tastes and heat.

On way from Portsmouth to South East London, we decided to pull off the motorway at Petersfield to find somewhere to eat!I’m very fussy, have a nut allergy and don’t like ‘heat’. Even milds too hot for me! The food was delicious and they were very attentive to someone like me! I had chicken Malaya- basically the only curry I’ll eat - not great when you’re married to an indian lover!!My husband thought it was a bit overpriced, but very nice. If we were back in the area, we would definitely eat there again!

Easily the best Indian food in Petersfield. Try the Garlic Chili Massala.

Has become my go to following the sad decline of my usual curry joint around the corner. A little more expensive than there but cannot deny that they have the food side of life well sorted. Delicious. Staff business like and friendly enough, but I do miss the complimentary half lager and poppadoms my previous regular used to dish out for take away customers.
