I'm afraid the tarka dal was off - please don't serve it to anyone else. I had to throw it away as well as most of my rice which it was on. Also, the vegetable dhansak was way hotter than usual - perhaps a different chef? Very disappointed.

The food is always nice. But delivery was really poor

Hardly any paneer in the chilli paneer and the samosa was so dry in the chaat that we thought it was a bone.

Food was almost like boiled food, no taste. Paneer was dry, disappointed

We just moved to the area and we ordered once before, my partner loved his food but I wasn't too sure so this time I requested in the notes to make mine spicy and it did not dissappoint! Madras is supposed to be fairly hot not mild so I'm very happy now. Reasonably priced as well so found our new Indian! Thank you!

Exceptional food again from Mazala

We ordered from this place on Friday evening when we came back to the country and it was divine! Honestly we felt like we found the best Indian local to us that we’ve been searching for the past 5 years. We loved it so much we ordered again tonight and left a message to say “please make it as amazing as last order.” To my surprise; the food didn’t taste nearly as good. I believe a different chef cooked it and I won’t order again unless it’s a Friday. Thank you

Freezing cold food and I don't own a microwave. This restaurant is a five minute drive from my house so I'm not sure how it was so cold. Really disappointed! I ate it but it wasn't very enjoyable.

The portions are too small but food taste nice . They also need to download Waze to be able to navigate through the area .

Delivery took over an hour and food was horrible, no taste and no spice. Naan was just weird and vegetables were all cooked to the point of mush. Definitely avoid.

I left a message for a preference to the restaurant on the order page but was completely ignored.

Delivery very late. Delivered by car. Was informed by driver that traffic was bad. No information given from app or restaurant. Used the app to request an update, nothing came and phone was constantly busy. Apart from that and the food being near cold, once warmed was very nice. Will try again at some point to see if this was a one off. Communication needs to seriously improve in such situations and a voucher or some sort of recompence would have been nice softener instead of leaving it to the deliverer to explain. Ps please put channa masala on the menu

All yummy except the squid which was very greasy. Will be ordering from there again as it is such brilliant value for money.

The delivery took about an hour which was absolutely fine the food arrived hot and it was well packaged, I had a set meal for one and honestly it was big enough for two people, I'll be having the rest for my lunch tomorrow. My son had chicken madras rice and a keema nan, he said the nan was the best he's ever had! The delivery driver was very polite, what more can I say, its a thumbs up from us, our new favourite takeaway! Thank you for a great meal

Disappointed my salad was missing

The food was delicious, the Dahl was perfect! Everything was great. The Phal was very hot which was great, but could use a bit more flavor in the sauce. But again everything was delicious 🤤 THANK YOU for a wonderful meal!

Excellent - Mazala just gets better all the time. All delivered items were delicious - hot and clearly freshly cooked. Street food items a great new addition to the menu. The mini hand-cooked samosas very good. Nice cardboard package too. Delivery swift and driver very courteous.

Though the quality of the food was good, there was not much meat in the curries, e.g. we count only 4 small pieces of chicken in one of the curries, and as well as this we didn’t get out full order, the drink we requested was not in the delivery. So though good food, a bit disappointing.

We ordered king prawn dish ,but the prawns were very tiny and rubbery.. The worst is that when we contacted the restaurant the owner was more keen to find excuses blaming the supplier etc than to offer a solution. He was even questioning that I wanted to have a replacement the same day and he said most people want a credit for next time. When I said I would like to eat that day he said that there is no need for sarcasm! He eventually sent the replacement which this time was chicken and he never mentioned about the credit on the price difference as I paid for king prawns but ate a chicken dish! After being spoken in that way, we will no longer give our custom to this proprietor!Perhaps one day he will understand the value behind “customer service “ …

Lovely hot food tastes delicious

Great food. Really enjoyed. The only request would be to not use as much sugar as it tasted rather sweet, however not sure if it's actually sugar that's causing the sweetness. Either way, best local Indian restaurant locally.

Really good food, delivered on time.

Chicken tikka was fresh and moist (not too dry), paratha was well made and light and flaky … most places serve too thick and doughy. Tarka Dahl was very flavoursome and not oily. Peshwari Nans we’re nice and light and had risen well, again not doughy but well made bread.

Normally I'm not one to leave reviews but I thought this restaurant was worthy of one. Everything I ordered was spot on and delicious, the price is also very good compared to alot of different curry houses. Definitely recommend.
