Absolutely love this place, so kind and understanding of my autistic brother, delicious food and a complimentary drink!

Always a great dining experience, the menu has some old favourites but also a lot of interesting options, especially with Duck curries. The staff are really friendly and give great advice on the dishes

This is a nice and atmospheric restaurant. We went on a Sunday for the buffet, and it was delicious. Definitely recommend to all.

The food and service were both excellent. I was very pleased with the service provided by the staff. My favourite dish of the night was the chicken tikka, but there was a wide selection of dishes we ordered, all of which were delicious.

Last night was our first time visiting Royal Tandoori. The service is top-notch, with incredible food and ambiance. It was an absolute pleasure walking into this restaurant and being greeted by genuine friendly faces who immediately seated us and assisted us in selecting our meals. We were blown away by the taste of everything, from starters to desserts, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. It is worth mentioning that I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom, as well as its modern design. As someone who has dined at the best Indian restaurants in the UK, I can honestly say that this place stood out among the rest.

We've been dining here for many years and have always enjoyed the food, extensive, varied menu and great service. We have not been eating here as often as we used to but have recently come back and are very happy that food, atmosphere and service are still excellent .. if not even better! Thanks 👍Anhar and the other staff always go over and above to help us chose from the menu and there are many new dishes to try which are WONDERFUL! THANK YOU 😊 🙏

We have always used royal tandoori, however tonight our takeaway was awful, I’m guessing the chef has changed!? It was bland, flavourless and very watery. Services was not good, I called to explain we were disappointed…they were closed before their advertised time! Very disappointed tonight, such a shame because it’s normally great food. What a waste of money.

THIS IS Not the first time that this has happened to me it’s actually the third time and has gotten to the point where I am going to stop ordering from here, food wasn’t good, rice was stodgy, the chicken dansak was extremely watered down for some reason and the cauliflower was hard and not boiled and I ordered a hour and half before closing time .

Always 5 star Experience when coming here. Very nice staff & food is always 10 out of 10. The best Indian restaurant round here.

So shocked that such a fine dine is right here in Selsdon! I’ve always travelled into Centrale London for this quality for Indian food. I’m already planning my next visit here with family. Great staff, amazing presentation and portion sizes. We go two meat dishes, two sides and two breads between two people and had so much left over. Highly recommend.

We had so much fun tonight, the moment we walked in the staff was friendly and welcoming. We were so impressed how attentive they were even when there was three large groups of guests. The atmosphere was electric the staff was knowledgeable and excited to serve us. The food was spot on, they deserve these 5 stars!!!

We have eaten here a few times now and the food, service and atmosphere has always been wonderful! There’s a great range of dishes, spicy and mild, with plenty of the classics and some unique ones too. They’re happy to adjust to your preferences as well.

The staff are very welcoming. The food is always to an extremely high standard. The staff gave us a sample starter, a lamb stir fry which was very nice and something that I wouldn’t usually order.

We had a fantastic experience! My partner and I both ordered the korma, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, with just the right level of creaminess and spices. The portions were generous, and the presentation was lovely. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!

If I could give more stars I would, I have just moved to the are and this is one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants I have ever been to, they go above and beyond for their customers and the food is the best food I’ve ever eaten, everything is so fresh and high quality and the staff are amazing, I shall be coming here to celebrate my birthday in a few weeks, highly recommend.

Royal Grill seems to be the same restaurant as Royal Tandoori Grill , feel a little cheated especially with regard to the collection of stamps I now have separate cards for the same restaurant! Food was nice though.

The takeaway boxes were all leaking, it was everywhere. I can see the restaurant has blamed deliveroo drivers before but the boxes were packed in sideways and they couldn't have been straight. Just provide another bag next time to it doesn't spill or better containers. Food was average.

A few months ago, on holiday, we had the best take away from this beautiful authentic restaurant. It was a meal that we thought about often and had to return for! Fast forward 4 months and we returned. The food, atmosphere and service exceeded all expectations. Brilliant! Thank you for a wonderful night.
