First time eating here tonight, the staff were very friendly and polite and the food was absolutely amazing will be coming back more often

By far the best Indian meal we’ve had delivered in a very long time. The food was tasty , not greasy with generous portions of quality meat. Will 100% be ordering from here again.

The food tasted nice however it took 2 hrs to get it, the delivery was more than 30 mins later than eta and food stone cold, needed reheating.

Ordered a takeaway via Uber eats. It was an hour late and cold, tasteless. The bread and poppadoms were soggy. The chicken korma was watery and the rice was dry and tasteless. The onion Bhajis were over cooked. Very disappointed with the quality as we have dined in at the restaurant in the past and it was good. But this was terrible and I won’t be ordering again and don’t really rate Uber eats either as I think the drivers have their own agenda with no equipment for carrying food. And it seems don’t give a damn as their work for multiple businesses.

Genuinely the best curry takeaway around, the portion size is very generous and the food tastes absolutely amazing, compliments to the chef!!

We have been here many times with our friends and we was all looking forward to it, very much. We all ordered the same starter, which was cold. We did mention it to the staff and they offered to change it, but we had already started it. The mains came out they were all perfect and hot. We also ordered some Cokes, they were room temperature and one of them was flat. More like a supermarket brand. So it was sent back, we was brought a small bottle of coke with a glass of ice, but we didn't want ice with it and when picking the bottle of coke up, it was room temperature again which was warm and the question was asked do you not keep them in the fridge and the answer was no we don't. So we just asked it to be returned and taken off of the bill. Message to you is to keep these soft drinks in a fridge and don't give supermarket drinks which are of a poorer quality as the bottles go flat too. Sadly it might be a long time now before we come back, as we was very disappointed.

The food was very good and perfectly seasoned. I ordered from Deliveoo and the portion sizes were huge. It came hot and faster than expected. They gave us extra dips and sides too. Would recommend!

Delicious food, extremely friendly staff, good variety of dishes. The chicken biryani, daal makhani, and rara gosht panjabi are particularly good, especially with a naan.

Was 10 minutes late but fortunately just within the legal limit to accept at 65°C. What I didn't appreciate was being told that I was wasting everyones time contacting them to chase/confirm my order. What was unfortunate was the sudden language barrier that appeared when asking for the manager. To make matters worse they repeatedly hung up when when it came to acknowledgment and accountability.

We ordered several dishes including, chicken tikka masala, paneer curry, mushroom curry, daal, as well a few more dishes. We also ordered naan bread. This was the second time we’ve ordered from Diwali. The food is a good standard, however you can taste the sugar in most dishes which I think reduces its authenticity as a dish, as it’s tastes the same as the next Indian restaurant. All dishes were nice enough though you can’t help to notice that generally the sauces all taste the same with the veg or meat swapped out. Again, if they added some distinct difference in the dishes it would improve the over all experience. The delivery was on time, and although a bit pricey for the quality of food it’s not a bad place to go to for a takeaway Indian.

I've enjoyed going to Diwali for years now. The service at the restaurant is fantastic. They take good care of you. The food, though, is equally delicious. I highly recommend any of the Naan, Lamb Dhansak, Lamb Biriyani and Garlic Rice, our standard go-to items off the menu. We often order deliveries, and the process is simple and easy to order online on their website, and the wait time is short. The guys are great and would highly recommend Diwali.

We had a takeaway from Diwali on New Years Eve. The food was delicious, the staff friendly & informative when asked about dietary information. The labelling on the plastic containers, was really useful too. Will definitely use again

We booked a tabke for 3 people at 19.30 and arrived on time, we had to wait for a good couple of hours for our food as restaurant was clearly putting just eat customers first, Good food but poor service, Maybe we should of ordered our food on line to be delivered to our table 🤔

Food was very nice. Very reasonably priced and service was 100%. Good lighting and sound so nothing distracting - unlike a number of other restaurants around this area (not Asian). I got a LOT of chicken in my main course and liked it rather than loved it - hence just 4 stars. Nans were just right. This is is a very good, well run restaurant.

Waited hour and half for delivery- which should’ve been 50 minutes

First visit and honestly was a tad apprehensive, as I had read some reviews. Well, I was surprised. Service good, food very good. If I want a Indian out, I would definitely come here. Didn't feel too much like an Indian, but the food was good. I will be back with my hubby

My curry tasted like tomato soup and was apparently Butter Chicken, Momo were thick on the outerside (dough) and minimal inside, Dahl was boring and mutter paneer....peas were over cooked and hard. Sadly a job for the bin as I do not want the leftovers 😬

First time eating a proper meal at an Indian restaurant and wow! What a great meal. Service was amazing. They were there at your every need. The potato naan (like a pita bread with little pieces of potatoes) was excellent. I also got the fried egg rice since it is close to fried rice in the states. For the meat, I got chicken tisala (not sure on spelling sorry) and it was really good. Mix the chicken and rice together and use your naan to compliment it, and you have an amazing meal! Will definitely return and give it a go again. Try it!

Never fails to meet expectations. My wife is a big fan of the Chettinand, but the range of food on offer is consistently good. If you get a takeaway, then I would suggest collection and getting there before the time requested.

Absolute worst!! We both come down sick after eating in here. Food was completely tasteless and chicken was so dry. Complete waste of money and so disappointing

Not terrible, but there is better available in the area. The Lamb tikka was tough, but tasty. Papudoms were fresh. Onion bhajis were slightly raw. Garlic chicken (vindaloo hot) didn't taste authentic. Chicken was dry, but the sauce was plentiful with no oil. Mushroom rice (extra shrooms) was decent. Overall, if you want a big portion but don't care for authenticity, you may enjoy it. Delivery guy was nice

Rang twice to be told food 5 minutes away waiting nearly an hour after the latest delivery time. Only one dish was labelled and food not a hot as it should have been. Would collect next time rather that wait for delivery.

Food as usual was excellent but just eat app showed food delivered on time. Tried going through app for assistance but did not get a call back , tried calling and was just told to use the app. What’s the point in that. Whilst on the phone to the restaurant the food arrived 40 minutes late

Food was okay. Ordered papad, Veg and Chicken momos, chicken and lamb biryani. Chicken momo was good but veg one's outer cover was not soft. Biryani was not upto the point, it was tasteless although served with peas and beans curry. Ambience and service was good.

Takeaway ordering was simple and delivered slightly ahead of time. Food was OK, but I felt it was anglicised rather than authentic. Quality was good, but nothing to rave about. My personal opinion is that there are better Indian takeaways in the area, but I'm not saying you shouldn't give them a try. Just not what I expect after enjoying genuine authentic Indian food in Wolverhampton. By all means give them a try; they may be what you're looking for and I cannot fault the service.

We have been ordering from Diwali for 5 years now. Food has always been consistent. Have never had a bad meal. Their Chettinand is my favourite and is an absolute must. I have recommended it to so many family and friends. Delivery time is always hit and miss but good food always comes to those who wait. Thanks for a great experience everytime!

Diwali wasn’t my first choice in North Camp as its Google reviews scores are the lowest in the area. There’s a lesson here: don’t always trust the numbers – it’s without doubt my favourite Indian restaurant in the ‘hood. I’ve dined here at least once and often twice a-week whilst staying in Farnborough. The food is enjoyable, especially the Chicken Chettinand (with extra green chillies), Tawa and Naga when accompanied with Jeera Rice (which itself is not often offered by Indian restaurants). Diwali is also reasonably priced with a curry & rice often being a few pounds less than other establishments, and given the food is good, represents very good value indeed. The staff are always really friendly and welcoming and every visit is a pleasure. So, if you’re reading this you can be sure I’ll be returning when in Farnborough and, if you’re thinking about a visit I’d recommend it.

Great food and didn’t need to warm it up

We went into Diwali with a very last-minute large order for a school PTA Event. They managed the creative and large order with only a few days notice and had the food piping hot and ready for us- even during the busy Friday night period. Every person who ate the meal said it was absolutely delicious and would order again. Thank you for helping a school out at the last hour, thank you for the amazing food and thank you for your kindness with our unusual demands for 'per head pricing' and packaging. We shall defo be using Diwali again.

We made a very last minute, very large, and unique order for our school PTA event. The staff were so accommodating to take on the order when another place had let us down. The service was excellent, the food was utterly delicious and the value was fab. Thank you Diwali and we will defo be coming again. (so will all of the people at the event!)
