Chutneys in Wiltshire

We used to l live the food here. I’ve never seen so much colouring in a curry. The chutneys weren’t as good as they used to be . The onions tomatoes and cucumber used to be an even mix. Now it’s just onions. The chicken was also dense. The price is also a lot more than it used to be.

The chicken korma was inedible. The sauce was a sweet gloop. Looked and tasted terrible. Without doubt worst dish of my life.

Food did not arrive, I called the restaurant multiple times and no one answered the phone, just eat haven’t refunded my money either

Wrong order - ordered butter chicken and received a chicken korma. Quite expensive and when you get the wrong meal it was disappointing.

Best Indian we’ve had in a long time.

Not a tikka masala.... very clumpy and luke warn. Poppadoms smelt bad so unable to eat, chips were cold. Waste of money.

made the mistake of thinking that it must be a high end place considering the prices they charge but it isn't. the food was fine, it's just the standard stuff that you get from cheaper indian places but twice the price. me and my partner had a curry and a naan bread each, and shared a "large" pilau rice (it's the standard size takeaway foil container and it costs £7.40), and the order came to £50. even if it came to £25, it still would have only been ok. also if you order "butter tikka", you'll get korma.

Delicious food, non greasy, early delivery will recommend and buy from them again

Ordered chicken tikka massala and plain rice. Rice was dry and over cooked and the massala tasted nothing like a massala

Good food, not badly priced, but starter was a little cold

The food here was astonishingly superb. Having never really had a great experience with takeaways when away on long weekends, I would highly recommend ordering from here. The saag baji especially was cooked to perfection.

A bit pricey and delivery also, but it was very nice and arrived about 20 minutes early. Food was well packed and hot. Our only suggestion would be to provide some cutlery.

Ordered from here while visiting the area for the weekend. Food was nice, we ordered 3 'medium' dishes which had zero spice, a korma has more kick, so if you want any spice go hot. As i said the curry was nice but way over priced on the sundires, which were nothing special/different from anywhere else. Delivery was late but driver was nice and polite.

The chicken passanda, rice nan poppadoms were all spot on but our lamb tikka starter was missing and the chicken garlic tikka had a insane amount of garlic in. I mean I like garlic but this was totally over kill never seen so many garlic cloves in one dish and yes I know its a garlic dish but was totally over kill. The chicken in the dish was tasty and the sauce was very nice but could of done with half the amount of garlic and it still would of had plenty.

I placed a pre order for 7:30 for when my wife was back from work but the food arrived 45 minutes earlier than my confirmed time, the butter lamb tikka was very tough and fatty and the sauce had little flavour, paid for a cheese nan but got a plain one, mango chutney was missing from the order

Has become extremely expensive with what appears to be a price rise in the region of 50%. Kavali across the road is far better value for money.

Ordered food to the fishery. Delivery driver was lovely, he was happy to deliver to the gate. Food was stunning, we have fished here twice and both times had an Indian from here. Rogan was full of flavour and the quarter tomatoes are beautiful!

Unfortunately, the food wasn’t great. The food was early which I guess is a bonus but the bag was full of oil when it arrived where a curry had spilt. The Saag Paneer was awful, cold, dry and literally uneatable. The chicken was overcooked and there wasn’t enough sauce with curry’s. For £45 for two people and being the only restaurant I’m just eat in the area. I really was expecting a lot more than this. Takeaway is in London are cheaper and far more superior. Plenty of work to be done here guys.

The food was OK, a very chewy meat (lamb), and the bag had a leak from one of the foods I ordered. Other than that, it was OK

Unfortunately, the rice was missing from our set menu order. When I called to enquire, I was greated with utter rudeness. No apology was offered. Very frustrating. Nothing like being snapped at "we're still waiting on a driver!". Cheers for that, mistakes happen but I'd work on your customer service skills.

My food was all over the place in the bag when it arrived. Wasn’t very hot either.

Horrendous food is cold and Nann breads are covered in coal and the chicken pakora have been sat waiting for ages!

Half an hour late and no salad or mint sauce with onion Bhajis

Quality of the food is so so disastrous. The chilly cheese naan was under done. Chicken tandoori was completely dried out and hardened. Chicken tikka masala was no where to authentic.

Great quality food, really tasty and loads of it. I could only manage half the biryani and I was hungry. Costs a lot and often late but do highly recommend the restaurant if you aren't on a hurry.

Delicious food and prompt delivery. Unfortunately we were given a can of Diet Coke when we ordered a 1.5L bottle, but the amazing food made up for that and it was easy to request a refund via Just Eat.

I love curry and want to support local businesses but one star is all I can give to this takeaway. Ordering was easy, they ensured allergens were catered for and it was delivered on time...BUT...The curries were terrible quality, overly sweet yet flavourless. The Bhajis were burnt, I have never had a curry so foul. I would rate Sainsburys supermarket curries higher than this one. A real shame.

Food delivered quickly but huge slither of plastic bigger than a 2p coin in the chicken tikka. Put us off our food and very dangerous.

We ordered a take away to supplement a Jewel in the Crown meal that was in the freezer: Naam bread unappetising - we resorted to heating up some sharwoods we had at home (which were so much better) Yoghurt sauce - sweet and bland Samosas - Inedible - I have tasted better from Tescos Onion bhajees - tasted disgusting - they appeared to be uncooked in the middle Needless to say, we will not be visiting this take away again, but have learned a lesson

First of all, the food was excellent as always. We're never fussed about the "on the house" - it always seems an afterthought and maybe some onion bhajis or veg samosas would be a nice alternative. Not for the first time though the order we placed for delivery was 30 minutes late. It was ordered online as soon as they opened and requested for 7.30pm. At 7.50pm I called Chutney asking where it was and advised bluntly that its on its way and to wait. I mentioned that it wasn't the first time it had been late and given we had paid a surcharge for the delivery could they enquire as to where the driver was. Eventually it turned up at 8pm and the driver was clearly in a hurry to get away. We advised him that it was half an hour late and his response was that we should ring the takeaway if we had an issue. He told us he was only out delivering to 2 addresses and a quiet evening by all accounts. As I said, no issues with the food - but we're left hanging around again with no management of our expectations. Please sort it out.

Had one of the best chicken tikka masalas for a long time and look forward to repeating the experience. The aubergine bhaji was also delicious and the peshwari naan and accompaniments hot and tasty. Thank you for a lovely meal.

After eating the food, I read all reviews again and especially on tikka masala curry. To my surprise, two reviews stated they had to trash it. I agree with them 100%. Why can't you guys improve having received similar feedback twice at least and in 2021? We are here for a holiday and can't give you another try, so with this experience, we give a thumbs down. Getting Indian food wrong is one thing, but if a customer has to trash it, it's really terrible. We don't waste food, so you can imagine how bad it was. It was sweet paneer jam and no way a tikka masala. The rotis were undercooked. Dal was saving grace, but just by a whisker. £47 spent for a meal, but poor rating sorry after a lot of thought. It was between abysmal and poor.

Fantastic food, definitely be ordering again when I am on nights again. Hope you know where we are now lol

Can’t fault what we had absolutely excellent will be going straight back next time. More expensive than other restaurants is the only slight negative for things like rice etc.

Tried their takeaway curries for the second time last week. Huge menu. Tasty, generous portions. Shop appears nice and clean. Warm comfortable waiting area. Pleasant staff. Poppadoms added gratis, a nice touch. Not perhap the cheapest, but quality and quantity (we had enough leftovers to make a meal the next day) mean they work out fair value. We'll be back.

We were given a recommendation for Chutneys and decided to give them a go. Friendly phone service, great delivery with the bonus of an extra veggie dish. Food was delicious. Called them to give our good feedback and the owner, Rana, was happy to chat to us despite it being a busy Friday. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Chutneys is normally my go to Indian restaurant and I’m a regular customer. But this order the the chicken was quite dry, the naan was undercooked and the poppadoms were soggy. This won’t stop me ordering again I’m sure it was just them being busy on New Year’s Eve (I pre booked 7 hours before).

Fabulous food, portions are huge. Really couldn’t fault it.

Unfortunately this meal didn’t come up to expectations based on previous orders. The main container was squashed and most of the contents had emptied into the bag. What I had tasted good, but since most of the curry was plastered over the other containers and bag, there was very little left to eat - I understand accidents happen, but I’m still very disappointed
