I stayed at the Stanton Manor Hotel a few weeks back and ordered a delivery.The food was the best curry I have had in a very long time.The Lahori Chicken was to die for.Food was hot portions were generous and the delivery girls were lovely.I am staying at the hotel in a couple of weeks and will be ordering again as it was such a tasty authentic curry.10/10 5 stars.

Awesome grub, speedy delivery, super friendly staff. I got myself a Special Biryani and it was seriously tasty! And let me tell you, their naan options are the absolute bomb. I highly recommend giving it a go!

This is the best place for a curry. We've tired quite a lot of different ones from here and they have all been DELICIOUS! they all taste different which feels like a real plus and the portion sizes are really good and it's great value for money. Very friendly staff too. Highly recommended

Very authentic taste of with India Masala (spices). I being an Indian can taste the real Masala and food reminded me of my home. On occasions you can find this place crowded but if you are in London and want some typical Indian flavours then this place is must to visit atleast once.

Best Indian in Chippenham, Great food.

Poor quality Indian. The Jalfrezi we had didn't have any peppers in it, just lots of onions, the okra was tinned and the matar paneer was a creamy mess with no spices or flavour. Just paneer, a creamy sauce and some frozen peas.

We both enjoyed a very pleasant meal. Good selection on the menu. Would recommend any day

My go to curry house in Chippenham and the surrounding area. They don't skimp on the meat content like many others do and the price is very reasonable.

Hadn't had a takeaway in a while and over a year since I went to an Indian. Wasn't disappointed a definite 5 star restaurant quality meal - great flavour and good sized portions. Quick delivery - cannot fault .

These guys are great. Had a technical problem with my order tonight which meant it took a long time to arrive. This is totally abnormal as usually they are very fast. They handled it really well and the food was delicious as usual. These things happen. Top marks!

Didn't know what to expect ordered on line, pretty straightforward, Very nice reception on arrival and a short wait. Got food home and served, hot fresh and delicious will be coming back, only issue is I had 5% discount online order but didn't also get the 10% collection discount? Overall 5 star

This was our first visit to the Red Massala. The food was ordered on line and was ready at the requested time. Portions were generous and all the dishes beautifully spiced.Overall it was better than many an Indian meal I've had in a restaurant. Service was friendly. I would recommend it highly.

Red Massala is out ‘go to’ for takeaway, we’ve tried others but this one is consistent, tasty, hot on arrival with friendly delivery drivers. We’ve had 2 takeaways since CV-19, one was a Chinese which was supposed to take 1.5hrs & took almost 3hrs to arrive, Red Massala quoted 45mins/1hr & arrived within that time.

Have tried every Indian in Chippenham several times and have settled on Red Massala. Consistently good for a fussy family of 5, this is our “go to” takeaway of choice. The Lamb Dansak is particularly good. Highly recommended.

Ordered a takeaway this evening to be delivered for 8. 30pm, for when my mother's husband got back from work. Food arrived 30 minutes early (not the first time it's arrived early, last time it was an hour and a half early, but let it go). So rang to just let them know about it, and asked how we can order it next time to avoid any confusion for the 3rd time. Unfortunately one of the staff members was talking in the background telling the one on the phone 'forget them, we're not going to give them any discount or food, we don't need their custom'. Completely uncalled for, as we have always been loyal customers to them, and order a takeaway every Saturday. So we questioned why he felt the need to be so rude to us. And we were told that we were going to be blacklisted, and they want the food returned. Won't be ordering from them again, shame because their food is very nice but the staff (minus one helpful staff member) were so rude and completely uncalled for.

Food from here is lovley when I ordered in the past but today I've been waiting now for over 1hr for my delivery with no phone call from the shop to tell me what the hold up is not very good service I'm afraid very disappointed

We tried Red Massala for the first time tonight. The meal arrived earlier than stated, the delivery man was very polite and professional. The food was outstanding and very delicious,each dish was labelled accordingly.Highly recommended & I will be definitely ordering again.100% all round.

Ordered a meal for two of us on a Monday evening. Had to ring to complain when I opened the raita and there was a black hair floating on the top. Didn't get an apology on the phone just an "oh dear we will pick it up now" I asked for that refunded instead of swapped as I was starving and couldn't wait to tuck into my tikka masala. However, that decision was instantly regretted as the curry didn't taste of anything at all it was so bland. The mushroom rice was tasteless and the onion salad had definitely been sat in the fridge a good while as it tasted and smelled very old. The chicken in the masala was mushy inside as if it had just been defrosted so I did not eat any just in case. Only thing that was edible was the plain naan bread and oven chips. Such a shame.

Pre-ordered a takeaway for our family gathering of six at an AirB&B; so we had a variety of dishes.

Live Indian food and live this friendly little takeaway. They try hard to accommodate food intolerances and ensure all is good. Very friendly staff but they prefer it if you order online. If you want the extra discount, then pay by cash not card! But love it and will be back!

I tried my favourite dish here, chicken dhansak, but found it not to my taste. It was very gravy-ish rather than the sweet heat I would normally expect.

I have ordered from here tonight and I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. I have had all the Indian food in chippenham and I would recommend this as the absolute best takeaway by far.

Last minute decision to order a take away but was pleasantly surprised. Placed the order online on their own website, choosing to pay in cash on delivery. We are about 5 miles away and the meal arrived 20 mins after the allotted time but the food was very good. Would have given five stars but the order was missing one chapati and took slightly longer than expected. We definitely order again as the food was very nice.

Absolutely gorgeous food and outstanding service

We’ve used Red Massala a few times now. They have a telephone system that tells them who’s calling, so they always know it’s us. Food has been consistently good, normally get free popadoms & even free onion bhajis on our last order. Delivery drivers have always been friendly too.

We usually order from the raj, however they were not delivering on this saterday which we were craving indian food. So we decided to trying this new indian take that recently opened literally just across the road from us, and what a disappointment it was. My tika ceylon tasted so bland and lacking in flavor, it had an almost powder like taste/texture as if they're using dried spices rather than fresh. If you want a good indian in chippenham then i highly recommend the raj, avoid mediocre places like this which are just as expensive as the others yet are of very poor quality.

We've had three meals from Red Massala now, and between us and our guests we've sampled a wide range of their dishes. The food is excellent, and the menu is unusually diverse. I've tried a few curries that I've not seen anywhere else, and they have all been outstanding. Worth mentioning the service is also great. The person I have ordered from each time, who I assume is the owner, is unfailingly friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough.

...and a 5 Star hygiene rating. Take away delivered quickly, friendly service. Good Mango chutney and the chicken chili masala had a great bite. Sag aloo also very good.

Went in just after this place opened as it’s just round the corner, the food was amazing and is very reasonably priced, especially compared to other Indians in the area. It is a takeaway only, but the food is 100% worth it, definitely recommended. Also use labels that are legible on the food as well!!
