tasteless food bland I ordered a madras it tasted of nothing except for oil and it was swimming in grease. REALY BAD BAD FOOD if you can call it that !!!!!!

Order for delivery We usually order from here once a month Todays offering was awful the usually tender chicken was tough and inedible The rice tasted like washing up liquid Most of it went in the bin

Not as good as usual. Potatoes weren’t cooked but was ok otherwise

The Bombay aloo wasn’t great as the potatoes were hard and inedible. Everything else was very nice and hot

My ceylon & pathia was very tasty, mushroom rice cooked very nicely, chicken pakora was unfortunately not enjoyable very dry & batter / coating was poor quality Would order from them again

The chicken biryani was not tasty and without salt nor flavour.

Great and all but found it a bit strange how I was asked if I had ordered and what is my name. I understand confirming the delivery but still was a little confused as to why?

Used them for years, food is always excellent and one week to the next a Balti tastes the same as the previous order like a balti should. Driver is quick and courteous on delivery. Can’t fault them. Best curry house in Donny in my book !

Usually the food and service is great. I’m so sad to say that due to just eat giving the incorrect house number somehow and then I called up the restaurant directly to ask where my order was the man on the phone was shouting down the phone to me saying his driver was trying to locate me for 40 mins seemed very angry.. I kept apologising for any mix up but felt he gave me no chance to explain. Was quite an upsetting experience after being a regular customer for a long time.

Apart from a bit of a food spillage in the bag , the food was amazing , fresh and hot. And tasty. And will definitely order again. Thank you .

Excellent food, as always, from Oxford's best curry restaurant. A minor problem (very rare for them) with a missing item was resolved promptly without fuss. Thoroughly recommended by a very happy customer.

Ordered a delivery on saturday night, everything was nice and fresh - salad , onions, poppadums, chicken tikka, samosas - very impressed! Nothing oiley, nothing dry and burnt and everything i ordered - I got!!! Good portion size on the tikka too! Thank you!

Something has gone seriously wrong with the Madras. Infused with evil pepper! I can handle heat but the last two orders where verging on unpleasant. Please bring back 6-8 month old recipe.

As always, Cafe Spice have delivered a delicious meal that was pipping hot and neatly packed, on time. I love their food and will definitely order again. I also got something extra, which was a lovely surprise. It would have been even more awesome if the food had been packed in biodegradable or at least recyclable containers, so I guess there is room for improvement there, but overall, I highly recommend this place.

Awful! Food was delivered two hours after I made an order, cold and when I called the restaurant to ask where my food was 90 mins after ordering they blamed just eat saying there delivery times hadn’t been updated, then they blamed the ltn’s! Considering it was 7pm at night, no traffic and you definitely don’t have to go through a ltn it’s not acceptable. I then checked the delivery time it stated 30-40 minutes I waited 120mins.

Usually always get free onion so ordered an extra bag still only sent 1, biriani wasn't as hot and fresh as normal. Clumpy rice. Usually amazing always. I even left a note about onions, as had few others eating with us so needed the extra. Thanks anyways!!!

Since our first order, this has been our favorite Indian takeaway. Today we had korai chckn and tandoori chckn biryani, veg. mughlai, veg.pakoras and samosas. As always, everything was hot and delicious.

Only negative is that yet again with ordering I placed a order for a garlic & cheese naan and only got delivered a garlic naan. This is the second time this has happened. Overall great food & delivery always tasty and warm.

The service was great, the food was totally mislabeled: i have got lamb in a sauce i can only associate with a jam/desert type of thing. I’m all for exotic food but if you serve a main course that has desert sweet properties, please label it accordingly. Very unpleasant experience. The rice was saturated in cinnamon (that i’m highly allergic to) again, without warning. Definitely an experience i’ll not repeat, sorry.

I'm a big fan of Cafe Spice's chicken biryani and their samosas are full of flavour.

Amazing per usual in every way. Was gutted you was closed Tuesday had to get else where and was no where near as good as cafe spice. Best Indian EVA!!!!

You can tell the quality of an Indian restaurant by the quality and tenderness of the lamb dishes and this has to be the worst I’ve had in years!! So tough that my wife binned hers as she couldn’t chew it — literally unable to chew! The driver wouldn’t listen to the correct instructions and I had to drive out to meet him. He had no VAT receipt for me even though the request was clear on the just-eat App and had in big letters on the receipt he had which he reluctantly handed over albeit not the VAT one I require. I definitely will not be using this restaurant again as I feel I have just wasted over £40!

One of the best Indians that I have had in a long time. The only negatives was the sauce for the onion bahji was very runny and the naan bread was cold. Will definitely order from here again
