The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

No customer service. Waiters just wandering around the restaurant with no obvious attempt to attend to diners. Worst mango chutney I have ever tasted. Seemed to have been watered down. All over very poor

This is my favourite Indian restaurant. Staff are friendly, food is delicious and there isn’t a long wait. Very reasonably priced and if you don’t finish your food they provide take- away boxes.

El abrigo de globo de mi hermana, bastante caro, fue robado de este restaurante el viernes por la noche porque no tienen ningún sistema de boletos en su lugar. Cualquiera puede literalmente coger un abrigo y salir sin cuestionarlo. Se le dieron los detalles habituales y la promesa de una solución rápida. ¿Adivina qué? El ‘Manager’ no está disponible y no contesta su teléfono. Llamaremos a la policía por este asunto, es totalmente inaceptable y la arrogancia del personal es enfermiza. Te han advertido mirones, desvía este lugar si tus posesiones y dinero significan algo para ti.

Had an amazing dinner at Bekash in Romford with my family of six, and we were all seriously impressed. The place looks beautiful — great vibe and decor — and the service was fantastic from start to finish. We ordered a proper feast: chicken tikka biryani, lamb chops, tandoori chicken, lamb karai, naan breads, prawn saag plus much more. Every dish was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The lamb chops tikka biryani and prawn saag were real standouts! Pricing was very fair for the quality and portion sizes. Honestly, I’d give it 8.5 out of 5 if I could. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great Indian food!

The Curry Pot never fails to deliver lovely food. We have been having the set meal for 2 for a few years and the quality has never dropped off, it's always been first class. The service is excellent and the staff are always friendly, we wouldn't dream of getting and Indian takeaway from anywhere else.

Overpriced and Underwhelming Delivery We ordered delivery and were left seriously disappointed. We paid £55 for two curries, two sides, two breads, papadoms, and rice — and honestly, the quality did not justify the price. The curries and sides were just okay, nothing memorable — about 3 stars at best. The bread was especially poor: dry, tough, and lacking any real flavor. Even the papadoms were bland. For a £55 meal, we expected something far better. Overall, the food felt more like takeaway quality at fine-dining prices. Wouldn’t order again or recommend.

One of the best nights out. Can always count on the Bangle for great good and great staff. If you like a curry this is the place to go.

Restaurants owners please note. You are takeaway career paper bags and handles it's very poor quality. It is easily damaged the food. So many times drivers and takeaway. Damage my food because of your bags. Please buy a quality carrier bags for your business it is frustration.

The food is absolutely amazing I had a lovely time. The service is a 10/10 they were friendly and very welcoming. We couldn’t finish all the food and we got it to go it was that good. I am absolutely going again
