I ordered lamb rogan josh wow meat is hard and chewy not tender I really think it is beef not lamb all tough rice nice but your not paying for rice. my husband had chicken but also chewy absolutely vile 😫

Just had a lamb jalfrezi, korma etc.Tremendous, absolutely delicious, great service.Found my regular go-to when its curry night 👌😁

Had a takeaway delivered tonight, must say it wasn't the normal standard we gat from them. Chicken was well over cooked and to tough to eat. Hopefully a one off but I will think again when deciding on a curry next time.

Terrible. Cold, dry and not fresh. Worst takeaway we have ever had.

We order the food at 18.06 it arrived at 20.20. The food was cold and the delivery driver was rude say he was doing us a favour by delivering so far from the shop. Well you need not worry we won’t be order again. Asked for a refund the owner said there was nothing he could do because we’d order through just eat. Well think long and hard before I’ll use this service again. Because of the poor service

Order was missing a side, when I tried to all it said the number was unavailable however it was delivered on time and our meals were delicious! Driver was friendly too. We've ordered from here a few times before and everything is always spot on.

Not the best…I ordered a Tandoori Platter and didn’t get the sauce or the special rice. Even the drink was incorrect. Not the best experience !

Rice, chips and naan’s were nice but the curry’s need some improvements they all tasted bity ,pasty and out of a jar! Pataks would be my guess!

Looking forward to a nice Friday night curry. Sorry to say the worst curry we’ve had in a long time. Set meal for two, the rice was ok, potato was ok , kebab starter was nice but the mains were just horrible. Chicken tikka bhuna and lamb rogan josh just tasted awful. Really sorry to leave a bad review but i just had to let others know.

The Curry Pot takeaway. Not been for a fair few years now due to moving away from Arnold, we decided to give it a try on a Saturday evening as we now lived back in Arnold, being totally honest just wish we had not bothered. The Curry was very poor I had chicken Karahi good portion size but that was it, it was very poorly cooked, the chicken was dry and the peppers and onions in the sauce were virtually uncooked the sauce was dry and not much of it, the steamed rice was dry as a bone and had no taste, the keema Nan wasn’t any better it was very dry with crispy burnt edges, the other half had a chicken tikka kebab wrapped in a nan and that was just as bad as rest of the food. We definitely won’t be going any a total waste of money!

Curry very tasty but onions not cooked enough for me. Rice was perfectly cooked and moist. Popadoms crisp and light. Nice large portions. Will recommend.

Poppadoms- old Chicken tikka - not very nice at all - soaked in oil Mango chutney - very weird taste No cheese on the cheese nan Chips no potatoe just batter £32 wasted.

A little pricey compared with other takeaways in the area, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

First and last time. Lamb was sooo tough, we could not eat it and the sauce was extremely salty, again could not eat it. Chicken tikka was not too good either, was so disappointing. The onion bhaji was good.

Ver poor experience, waited almost 2 hours just to get soggy chips and poppadoms Could tell my order had been packed ages before it was delivered, luckily our curries were still warm enough to be edible.

The Curry Pot is by far the best place for a curry takeaway. Food is always spot on along with the service. The Korma is by far the best in Nottingham, trust me on that!

Best tasting Currys in Nottingham by delivery....just like eating in a restaurant in your own home each sauce is always different you can tell they've a great chef 👍

Previously we have had a good experience at The Curry Pot, however this time the customer service has taken a turn for the worse. I ordered a Makan after looking at the menu online. A Makan arrived and contained banana and sultanas but was advertised containing mango. I called and queried this, the man on the phone was very unhelpful and unsympathetic. As someone who has food allergies, I explained how dangerous it could be for someone being given a meal with different ingredients. He said the website was wrong and told me it was okay if I didn’t return again! In addition to this, before ordering online, we called them to check the dishes were gluten free (my allergy), and the guy told us that the naan bread was made with self raising flour. Completely no clue what gluten is. Appalling knowledge of allergies. Would not advise if you have food allergies as they didn’t seem very competent. They have since called me back after checking the website as they realised I was right. They have asked if we can sort something out…..

First time coming here tonight and we had the meal for 2..there was absolutely loads of food, enough to feed 3/4 people Food tasted amazing Will be coming here again :)

What an amazing curry house! The food is 👌🏼the Tandoori Mixed grill is so tasty and you get lots, the Rogan Josh is filled with flavour and we love extra garlic and the service is lovely - the owner is so friendly. We would definitely recommend The Curry Pot

Great food best indian takeaway in notts but sadly it's gone up to £26.85 for a main/side dish/2 chapits getting expensive I know prices are rising but use to @ £19.00....treats are not affordable as they use to be

Absolutely love this rogan josh! Prawn starter delicious, onion Bhaji fresh and tasty, however I get frustrated when a take away can’t get the basics right - ordered a chutney tray (£2.50) - it wasn’t in the bag! Ordered 3 poppadoms the first was soft and soggy, I will go back however as did call and they will put it in next time and I would recommend as the food really does hit the spot and is one of the best takeaways around that we’ve tried!

Would like to say first of all the food was absolutely mouth watering 10/10 also the portions of the dish was really big and price wise really good and the staff were absolutely great and very helpful would definitely recommend others who haven’t tried to defo try as you won’t be disappointed. We have struggled to find a good Indian take away near us that has the garlic and onion flavours & this one really has hit the spot, really impressed with their food and take away service. Had the tandoori mixed grill starter which was so tasty followed by a rogan josh which was full of flavours and roasted garlic, would definitely recommend and will definitely be using again!

Delivery was on time, the driver was very polite. The food was amazing. Tasted fantastic and a good price.

All I'd say try them the food is so tasty the only Indian we use something about there food makes you want more ..you can tell the qauilty and cooking shame they haven't a restaurant would love to visit

I am an Indian lady and cook beautiful Indian food all the time , so I’m very fussy about ordering food . I ordered food from the CURRY POT and I was not disappointed at all. I’m so glad I’ve at found a takeaway that does amazing gorgeous food. Excellent service , polite staff. 🙏🏾

That was one of the best tasting meals I have had in years. Fancied Lamb chops but my expectations were low, they were out of this world. Very authentic taste to everything and top class service highly recommend this take away that was class. Thank you

Might aswell go coop and get yourself a microwave curry, tastes very strange. Ordered 1 poppadum, got 2 and no dips. Usually standard to receive the 3 dip pots for the miniscule cost it is... nevermind be going coop from here on.
