Not been since pre covid, a lovely evening, food fabulous and very friendly people, certainly won’t be as long next time, well worth a visit

Very friendly and attentive staff. We were not rushed. The food was excellent.

We went in a group of 6 as a last minute decision with no booking, the staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful.. food was delicious, and they catered for our requests! Definitely recommend the mixed grill to start, can’t wait to return

Had a fantastic meal last night, home cooked food, excellent value for money. Family friendly service, I’ve been here several times over the years, it’s as good as ever 🌶️🌶️🌶️

First time trying paprika, we will definitely be back. The hospitality was second to none, we are new to the area and were made to feel like one of the family. The food was brilliant, we had the mixed kebab to start which was delicious. For mains we had the Paprika special which was very tasty and a generous portion. Chicken tikka bhuna, this was in a very tasty mild gravy. The star of the show was the chicken shashlik this came on a hot plate in a rich thick sauce with moist marinated chicken, onions, garlic, etc. The special rice with peas was also exceptional, we will definitely be back.6/5 stars

great food friendly driver always like this place sadly £34.30 for a starter a main a side dish & 2 small chapits (no rice or chips) we do our own it is getting expensive to have a takeaway... special occasion now

Lovely place to dine and relax, made to feel very welcome

Food is always excellent as is the service, the venue is only let down by a poor choice of non alcoholic drinks and it is sometimes chilly in there. However this is outweighed by serving the best curries in the area and having service that is second to none. There is a free car park behind the shops opposite the bottom of Westdale Lane.

The food from Paprika was great and the portion was generous. I would recommend Paprika for good value food

There is a good selection of vegetarian dishes. I went to pick up a takeaway and it had just been freshly prepared. The food was delicious and a very good sized portion. I would recommend Paprika

Great Indian restaurant in Gedling. Husband and wife team very friendly and welcoming. Very clean and nicely laid out restaurant. Food brilliant! Food fresh, flavoursome and cooked fresh. Don't hesitate to come here.

This Indian is on my doorstep and never been in. It’s now going to be my regular. The food was as good as I’ve had. Cooked to perfection, no grease and plenty of it. We could have ordered half and still had enough. Very reasonable price and the service was excellent. This place really should be packed every Friday and Saturday night. We will definitely be returning if it’s for sit in or take away.

Ordered online for 3 people. The korma and CTM was so bland. It had no taste at all. Didn’t even taste like a curry! chicken in the pathia was tough!! Very very disappointed

Had a date night with my on 13/10/23 and decided to try this place as we are new to the area and was not disappointed at all, the service was amazing the staff are very friendly and that was the best India food I've ever had, I chose the lamb vindaloo and the lamb melted in your mouth it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back

Arrived tonight but they didn't seem ready for us. The lady serving us said it had been quiet but was now busy but how is that our problem?? We'd booked a table and arrived on time ??. The food was dreadful very dry and was not eaten by 2 of the table one said theirs was very greasy the other was hoping for hot but got mild. Will not try there again but use others in the neighborhood instead.very expensive £20 for a bottle of Lidl wine which cost a fiver

Not been for a while but ordered two main takeaways. Food was delicious. Hot and tasty. Chicken tender and curry gravy really nice. Poppadoms fresh and best Ive had for a long time. Lovely naans. Fast service. Owner and wife also very welcoming.

The food was delicious, however the meat in the curry sauces were in the wrong curries, but still delicious food, very happy with the quality.

Visited paprika today with my 90 year old mother ,it’s her first time out to eat since losing our father last June . The food was great and my mother who is from goa India loved the food and service .

Hi went to paprika today ,last time was 3 years ago etc! I am local to Gedling and I want to say that the staff and especially the food was lovely and the “prawn butterfly starter I had was beautiful,as I have had this starter in many other Indian places from 1998 to now and it’s definitely up there etc! The naan bread is the best !! The restaurant may need some work etc but it’s been very hard times for all hospitality and without the business it’s difficult to be where you want to be and that is where paprika is ,the food the staff and atmosphere is spot on!! So I will be going back and to take my 90 year old mum from goa who would enjoy this place . “So try and support our local eateries “

Just had a delivery, thought we would try here as it’s been years since we last had food from here, not overly impressed, food very bland, ok lean chicken etc but I have had much tastier Indians, so will not be ordering again, disappointed

Beautiful meal from starters to mains

Really lovely food, so tasty and excellent value for money in comparison to the Indian takeaway I usually use - the best thing was the Maharaja set meal for 2 that we had as part of our order - I will definitely be returning here again especially now I have moved to Gedling!!

Order from here regularly. Food is always hot and flavoursome.

Disgusted with the way you spoke to my father on the phone regarding an error in his order. "Oh yeah I forgot" is no excuse, and then calling him rude when he asked for nothing more than his order to be corrected. Incredibly disappointed.

Love getting a thali from here. Been super impressed every time 😋

I have had the Chicken Tikka Masala several times but it seems that they have changed the sauce and it is watery and not a great taste sadly. I will try another Indian next time, there are plenty around.

They make the best naan bread.

I've visited Paprika in our village quite a few more times now since its new owners took over and I have to say that its improved enormously. It's now as good as any indian restaurant within the immediate area if not the best. The prices are very reasonable and the service has been great. defiantly one to put back on the list.

More than 30 minutes late. ordered chips 1 portion between 3 adults the portion size wouldn't have been enough for a child curry's were quite watery. Have pictures but can't upload them Overall Food was okay but don't think I'd recommend.

4 of us recently, enjoyed freshly cooked beautifully spiced Indian cuisine at it's best. The mixed combo starter set the very high standard of cooking for the evening. And the naan breads were delicious too. We dined early so ate more or less on our own and so had very personal service. A great restaurant to visit to enjoy tasty food locally.

Very nice place to set in and have a meal, and they do a good takeaway . The staff always welcomes you and has time for you.

Got half portion of rice, just called to speak to someone about it and first time they hung up on me and second time was not helpful at all just told me to complain on deliveroo. I don’t want to complain, I want to get what I payed for! Normal size portion of curry and half small container of rice. Shocking! First time order turned in to a disaster!

We visited here on Saturday and both the food and service was excellent, staff were also very pleasant. We will definitely be back 👍🏼So if your reading this review go give it a try you will love it.

Totally delicious! By far the best take away we have had in a very long time!

Food was bland, and stuffed paratha wasn’t stuffed with anything, just a soggy, greasy mess, was up all night with acid reflux.

Paprika, grew up in Netherfield and walked past this secret gem toooo many times before me and the Mrs went in. I just can't believe I'd never been in before. Staff are very interactive and the food was matched by the level of service we received by 'raj'. He actually reminded me of one of my good friends but that aside and without me being biased, it was the best Indian me and my lady have had for a very long time. And the atmosphere raj had created for us certainly added too that. Please go and dine in. What a place 10/10

Since rediscovering this restaurant earlier this month we have dined here 3 times. Each visit we’ve tried different meals and every one has been excellent. The quality of the food is first class and the level of spice is spot on. The service from Jay and the team is always friendly and the whole experience is excellent.

Friends took us here and I was really pleased they did. The service is great and the owner is really friendly. The food is great. The curry was full of flavour and the meat was cooked nicely. A great meal. Looking forward to going again

Visited Paprika last night on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. The whole experience was fantastic from being welcomed at the door through to saying goodnight as we left. The decor is contemporary and the atmosphere calm, the staff are friendly and efficient and were there if needed. The food was delicious, crisp and flavorful poppadoms with fresh and tasty pickles followed by one of the tastiest Currie's I,be ever eaten. I chose the chicken jalfrezi which is classed as Spicy on the menu and it didn't disappoint. The chicken was excellent and the layers of spice with the perfect amount of heat made this a highly recommended dish. Jay and the team are great hosts and Paprika is highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant for the first time in a while and was not disappointed. The food and service was excellent. The taste of the curry and the quality of the meat in both of our meals was great. The service was very friendly and Jay took the time to chat at the end of our meal. We’ll definitely be visiting more regularly in the future.

This place can be absolutely spot on then it can be poor this time unfortunately it was poor chips soggy bread burnt main course said chilli's in but didn't find any they are really friendly staff but hit and miss with quality of food and there pretty pricey it's a shame because when good it's 100%

Fully refurbished in to a lovelly cosy classy restaurant that serves fantastic delicious food. Highly recommend a visit for a great meal at very reasonable price

Went Friday night and must say despite some negative reviews we were all impressed the food was probably one of the finest Currie's I've had, service was very good and I would like to say special thanks to raj for making it a memorable night. Have been to paprika in the past and always enjoyed it, but wow what a turn around they have made of the place!!! Straight away we were warmly welcomed, raj was the perfect front man, great with our kids and very knowledgeable on the food. They have done such a fantastic revamp of the restaurant and made the whole place feel very special. The food was perfect quote from my boys ‘the best curry we’ve ever had’ Will definitely be back without a doubt Thanks

The food is great and I've been there a few times, except this time they let themselves down with the timings. The Just Eat estimate was a collection time of 6pm. When I got there at 6pm they said the order would take "10 or 15 minutes" and I was waiting for 40 minutes! It's not like they were busy with a backlog either: I was their only customer at that point!

Second takeaway from them usually it's always great but this time just wasn't nice as it could be chicken was hard and grissly...chips all wet sweating in a aluminium container....sadly disappointing yet they are lovely owners

Been awhile since used these as always seemed shut but yes they are a little pricey but food was nice..just the chips are always abit sogey as they put them in a tin container ...use a bag cheers guys

Always good service and lovely food. It’s 5 stars for taste but 4 today because I prefer some whole veg bits - there weren’t any in the chicken and spinach dish, just thick (but tasty) sauce. I will definitely order again :)

Korma was spicy not creamy, vegetable Bahji was cold, Peshwari Naan was bland.

Basically payed over £50 to get food that i had to re-heat myself. Having to ring to chase the order up, and still took 40mins to arrive after that. Poor service all round and will not be ordering again from here.

Honestly the best curry we have had for a while. Food was absolutely beautiful. Eaten it and still raving about how good it was. Definitely recommend. Quickly delivery especially for New Year’s Eve. Thank you

The chicken was very tough and too much of it.I'd have preferred less but have some rice and more salad included.

Reason for being late was restaurant the was busy but we were communicated to through out. I do believe it was busy as I have been to the restaurant many times before and it has always been popular. Food was fabulous as always even as a takeaway. We ordered vegetable bhaji, poppadums and all the pickles, puri puri prawn, 2x chippatis, steamed pilau rice, 2x lamb rogan josh. My favourite has always been the lamb rogan josh but I particularly enjoyed the prawn puri.

Can’t fault the food quality from this, our favourite local Indian restaurant. My only gripe is the number of king prawns they put in a curry. 4!!! Yes they’re big but 4, come on. Same price as a Chinese king prawn dish which has twice as many. Tasty but I think that’s disappointing.

I've eaten in here and had takeaway, and each time I have loved the food! The delivery service could be a little better as some things weren't included however the food is one of the best curries I've eaten.

Second time and curry was lovely only downside keema rice was very disappointing was just white rice with bits of mince in...no way was that genuine Indian keema rice. come on paprika up your game was poor food and service a while back my last 2 Curry's where spot on don't disappoint...

Very enjoyable best pompadoms I've ever tasted

The best Indian food I ever had. Not had a Indian meal for over ten years due to finding them greasy and salty. I friend suggested that we should go to Paprika and that the food was good. I was apprehensive at first . was pleasantly surprised how tasty the food was, and how polite and attentive the staffs were. It's not a big restaurant but social distancing measures were in place which staffs and customers seems to be adhering to. A good first time experience. I Will be definitely going back soon.

Been a while since we used them as service and quality went down rapidly but noticed reviews on the up so decided to try..and yes everything was spot on food hot delivery promt quality there and portions sizes bigger.. hope it lasts as loved the food delivered...👍

Food not very hot and sauces were gluey..

First takeaway we've had from Paprika and it certainly won't be the last! They rang me as part of our order was not available and suggested a replacement, which was not a problem. Good choice on the menu and we loved our chosen dishes.
