If you are placing an order to pick up make sure you use the special coupon to get the promised 20% discount. If you don’t, the restaurant will do nothing to help rectify this & you will pay full price. Perhaps they secretly hope customers won’t realise they have to use the coupon until it is too late because it means more money for them but that may be a false economy if they don’t get repeat business. I won’t be returning. The food is ok but not worth the extra 20%.

Ordered a takeaway and for 3 people it was £75. Food was ok but you will get small plastic containers half full of rice which would cost probably pennies and you are being charged £4. Chicken tikka starter for £6.95 and you get three small cubes of chicken. Quite scandalous being blunt. Good food but £75 on a takeaway when you probably get not even £20 worth of food. Thinks are not cheap anymore, I understand that, but it's a takeaway and it's just too expensive and that is the bottom line. You live and learn. Cannot recommend, especially when there are plenty of decent places very close that are substantially better value for money.

Been a few times and the food is always fantastic and good service however on this visit I noticed the toilets were in desperate need of cleaning which then makes me wonder about the rest of the restaurant.

We have just been to passage to India and it was absolutely fantastic. I’m a big curry fan and the food quality and service was absolutely spot on. It’s a few years since we have been, and in all honestly I’m not sure why we left it so long. Hi5 to all the team, it’s so good to support a great local business who offers such an awesome experience.

First time visiting here. Loved the authentic food - thank you. Not too crammed, also lovely & the staff were efficient and friendly - no fuss! I'll be back.

Prompt delivery as you'd expect on a quiet Tuesday. Sheekh kebab came without anything else, so no salad - it was of moderate quality so very expensive at £6.25. Fish curry also expensive at £14.25, nice sauce but poor quality fish. Lamb and spinach was enjoyable with tender meat. Peshwari naan was very chewy so suspect it was not freshly made. A 10% off coupon for deliveries didn't work. We sent a message to them about our issues but no reply. Can't recommend and won't be returning.

We have had takeaway twice from here and honestly cannot fault the food. Hot, fresh and super tasty!

Waited an hour for a take away order, some tables became free and as it was getting late we requested that when the order was finally ready that we could eat in. Only to be charged nearly £15 afterwards for the privilege!! Disgusting. .

The food came after 1.1/2 hours after ordering naan was cold and burnt mushroom rice had mixed vegetables in and cold prawn had potatoes in and was also cold .chicken tika was cold .Will think twice about ordering again. Nothing enjoyable finished up in the bin ..

Worst take away iv had the displeasure of ordering. The lamb rogan josh sauce was water and grease. The owner bought me a fresh rogan josh back to my door but by then my rice and onion bahji had drowned on my plate and the meal was ruined. The fresh rogan josh to add was equally rubbish as the original.

Ridiculous, ordered 2 chicken briyani the rice and chicken was uncooked and really dry . There kadai chicken curry was awful with uncooked chicken and tomato. Won't oder again .

My sister and I agreed that we had the best Indian food at this restaurant on Friday evening. A big complement to the chef and the service was excellent. 👍

My wife and I attended a ‘taste and texture’ evening sampling the very best of Indian cuisine. It did not disappoint, the food was excellent quality, well presented, tasted amazing and portion size was good. Service was excellent considering the restaurant was fully booked, the staff were very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend a visit if you want a nice night out, a real taste explosion.

We visited for a family birthday. Very disappointing visit indeed. 3 star maybe a bit to high to fair. 1 - Zero atmosphere from the environment, server came across very rude and abrupt, only came to table to take one drinks order, food order and to clear away. Limited communication throughout the visit. 2 - Food was okay, very average. The variety of curry’s we had looked the same, with limited to no sauce, just full of veg. One being too spicy to eat, which didn’t state it on the menu. Being polite and having manners go along way. Really need to up their game especially as there are other Indian restaurants locally. Unfortunately would not visit again, unless something dramatically changes.

We went there for a thank you dinner for a friend who loves Indian food. The place is nicely set out, spacious and airy. The service was good. I would have given it excellent were it not for our poor young waitress who was very nervous and very serious. The food was beautifully presented, well cooked, the chicken succulent, the sauces perfect and basically just delicious!

Lovely ambience; we had an unhurried, delicious meal. Excellent veg and vegan options. We hadn't pre- booked and this was our first visit but we will certainly visit again. Great service. We left very happy and full.

Myself and my wife live locally in Mapperley. We are both foodies and so we enjoy dining out for a good quality meal. I don't spend time writing reviews on Trip Advisor unless I have something exceptional to say which is the case in this review. We dined at the restaurant 01/07/22, I had the monkfish curry and I have to say it was the nicest fish curry I have ever had and this is saying a lot as we dine out often and visit many restaurants. Full marks to the chef, can't wait till we go next time.

I mean it’s not bad . But I wouldn’t say it’s good . Drinks are very small and weak . Food is average maybe slightly Better than average . Indian food is just churned out these days it all tastes the same . This was no different

We've dined in, had take away and delivery from here. It amazing! Good allergy menu, excellent choice of curry and it tastes delicious. Portion sizes are great, prices are great and delivery time is also great. Food has been hot each time and always consistently good. Definitely visit here if you're a curry fan!

Best curry in Nottingham! The lamb Rogan Josh here is what dreams are made of. It's got a slow cooked, homemade satisfying flavour and is so well seasoned it's just delicious!

Portion size was terribly small, chicken Korma had a measley 5 pieces of chicken in it. Lamb tikka was just as tight. Food was cold. Absolutely shocking for the price. Such a shame as the restaurant used to be very good which is why we had take away. Just all round very disappointed.

Service was fine , Food was not .Pompadoms were fine but there was the smallest amount of pickles in very small dishes , the starters onion bhaji ok lamb chops burnt dry, Duck ok, Main meals were terrible hard dry lamb in a tasteless mush of baby food type gunk The chicken dish was the same , vegetable rice was devoid of veg ???? Overall portions were very small. Will not be returning

Visited this establishment for the first time on Saturday evening. I was really impressed with the fresh and delicious food. I asked for my lamb madras to be made even hotter and they didnt disappoint! They have clean and modern surroundings and swift service. Noticed the vegetarian selection looked very interesting as well. My only quibble is the ridiculous situation of the staff all wearing masks whilst the diners have none. I would love to see the staff drop the absolutely pointless masks and return to normality. All in all a great experience - I'll definitely be coming back!

Food is usually nice every time we go but was absolutely delicious on this visit- good kick to the food, just the right amount served, flavours that bounce on your taste buds. Nan bread light with a sweet crispness. A hidden gem.

Another delicious takeaway from my favourite curry house. Sides of saag panner, chana masala, mixed veg jalfrezi, paneer butter masala, with mushroom rice and a peshwari naan. Bit of a feast after a hard week at work! All top notch and right up there with the best curry houses in nottm 😋😋😋

Superb food. I don’t know what they do differently but it’s unique and every single dish is so flavourful without the need for lots of spice. Being an avid fan of very spicy food, I find I enjoy even the mildest dish (Chicken Tikka Masala) from Passage to India. Head and shoulders above every Indian food outlet I’ve ever eaten from/at. Super friendly management too. Highly recommended.

Had a takeaway meal for 3. No change from £50 so quite expensive due to 2 lamb byriani main courses @£13.95. However the quality was worth the cost. Will defo visit to try in person after lockdown.

Ordered food for the first time from here.The butter naan was much better than other places I have ordered, paneer makhani tasted good as well.Ordered samosa chaat which was a bit setback and paneer shashlik tasted great but the portion size was small.Overall good so will order again...

Been before and had takeaway but needed to try the newly launched range of kebabs. We had the chilli chicken and the lamb kofta. Perfect. Really tasty, fresh and enjoyable. Next time will try the other ones!

Great food good service but not quite got it right on them even and quality of the presentation needs taking up market and the price and offer to reflect that! Great it's not the same as modern Indian. It is softer. I like that more sophisticated but not quite enough!

Went here as part of the eat out to help out. Found the choices on the menu to be a bit lacking and not containing very much information especially a rating to indicate if the food was spicy or not. The menu could only be accessed via scanning a QR code with your phone which may seem like a novelty to some people however encouraging people to use their phones when out for a meal is not the best idea so maybe give them the option of a traditional menu as well. The food we did order was nice but nothing special.

Our first visit to passage to India last night, Actually our first night out since lockdown!! We had a lovely meal, as others have stated, very well run by a very nice family, we will be back.

Well I’ll definitely be making this a regular experience! Excellent service, friendly staff, really clean and great social distancing observed. And the food was absolutely delicious! My son has a gluten allergy and the staff were really helpful. Good value too.

Habiendo visitado el restaurante en muchas ocasiones y nunca nos ha decepcionado, encontramos por casualidad que estaban haciendo la entrega para llevar debido a la situación actual del COVID - 19. Hice un pedido de recogida anoche debido al clima actual. La comida era excepcional, desde el sabor al curry, el nivel de especias, el pan nan e incluso el chutney y las salsas. Uno de los mejores restaurantes indios en Nottingham con diferencia, con un excelente servicio al cliente también. Muy, muy recomendable para todos los verdaderos amantes del curry.
