The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

On arrival we were given a very warm welcome. Seated on a clean table and seen to immediately. We were brought our drinks and some snacks until our meal arrived. The food was amazing and left feeling very full. Was amazing value for what we had. The staff were all so friendly and was such a nice atmosphere to the place. Would definitely go back again.

Their Aloo Gobi paratha is like a vegetable wrap instead of an authentic stuffed paratha. It bad for people who don’t know exactly what an authentic paratha is! :(

Small Indian restaurant on Plassey Street. They have a wide and varied menu. Service was fine and the meals were quite reasonably priced. I had a Chicken Kohlapuri which was mildly spice. There is on street parking outside plus bus and train stations and stops within a few hundred metres of the restaurant.

Love this place. It's a very traditional and authentic place, takes me back to the 90s in a good way! They adjusted my husbands dietary requirements with precision as he can't eat vegetable_sunflower oils so they only used Ghee at our request and checked regularly that my husband was okay. Lovely and very accommodating staff. Don't be afraid to ask if you require any adjustments!

Great food, easy to order, delivered on time, great service

Tried the Wednesday deal starter, any main rice or naan for £15.95. Had sheek kebab for starter , absolutely gorgeous, salad fresh .Tried Peshwari chicken for first time as a main. Chicken was really tender and rice was plentiful for 2 to share. Staff friendly and welcoming. To top it off you can take your own alcoholic drinks in. We had a wonderful evening here while on holiday in Exmouth. Will be back

Great food, great service, quick delivery!

Highly recommend this authentic Indian restaurant. The staff are amazing Sam always greets you with a big smile, the food is really delicious and definitely worth a visit. They also have Kingfisher and Cobra on tap.

Horrible Indian food I’ve ever eaten in my life!

10/10 service, Food and atmosphere was immaculate, would highly recommend to all. Friendly staff members who can serve dishes to your preference if necessary. Overall 10/10!
