Jalfraizi was greasy, tikka masala was sugary and chicken wasnt great. Won't be going again, but the reason it's not 1 star is because the onion bajis were actually very nice, and the naans were good.

Nice friendly staff just poor food comes from 3 different people one chicken way dry and not very nice , oinoi barges not cooked in the middle outside was OK, my pints not much chicken in the meal and barges not cooked in middle will never use again shame as staff were good very over priced for that kind of food

Have been coming here years, and it’s absolutely excellent. Service is always spot on, and friendly, and the food is always excellent. Over the years, I have tried multiple dishes. Madras, Nagga, Korma, Goan, Balti, Jalfrezi and a few others. Went with the Tandoori Garlic Chill chicken and it’s was incredible! Highly recommend for sure…

We tried Leith Tandoori for the first time and weren’t disappointed. The service was brilliant - very friendly when I went to pickup and kept me updated. The food itself was delicious and piping hot when we got it home. Will use again!

First time we've used this restaurant. Had doubts about it, what a mistake that was, had the food delivered. Much quicker than expected, piping hot, which was a real bonus. As for the food, blown away with the taste. Absolutely delicious. Can't believe that this is on our doorstep. We will be coming back without doubt. Best Indian we've had in many years.

Great food however, minimum card spend has raised from £15->£20. Unacceptable for those looking to buy for one… Popadoms are unusually salty and the Mango chutney is watery.

Best Indian in area by a mile. chicken naga and chicken vindaloo are my go to meals.....lovely

Tried to order via phone, engaged for 45 minutes 🤦 So I eventually walked down to them after placing a order online via their own website, I arrived and explained that i couldn't get through on the phone to find the guy behind the counter had forgot to put the phone down from the last call.........! I stated that i had placed an order online which stated 20 minute collection ( 10 minutes walk) or 45 minutes delivery, he said I've just received the order! Rubbish I said and we then began to work out timings! I said, I'm not her to argue I just want my Curry as it's my birthday! I opted for a delivery as I didn't want to wait in the que there. Now your food is excellent and normally the service too, please get more staff to cope, you are clearly making the money, don't spoil your reputation. I'm not just a 'Joe bloggs' by the way.....look at the number of reviews I do. I look forward to using you again. Thank you

Ordered 3 times: picked up twice and delivered once. To our surprise, comparing to all others we've tried in the area. Everything each time has been hot in temperature (even the pilau rice) and cooked perfectly. All dishes we have tried have been tasty, delicious and have had tender. This is our go to Indian from now on. Staff are very friendly and great at recommending a dish. Very reasonably priced too! Only Indian we would recommend to anyone in the area!

Food is amazing and really good service. Always goes the extra mile and also happy to personalise my orders. Varied menu, all cooked well and without vast amounts of food colouring and additives. Thoroughly recommended.

We have used this fast food outlet on and off for a few years. Always good and reliable. Not tonight. Garlic nans with no garlic to be found / tasted. A very bland biriani for a main course. Maybe a different chef. Maybe just a bad night. Just not up to the standards we have become used to...

Order nearly every week. As a key worker I look forward to my "treat". Started work at 6am today. Ordered online as usual for 7:15pm delivery, at 8:30, after previous call, we gave up. I made toast. Back at work tomorrow, stay safe, take care. xxx

This is the third time I’ve used Leith Tandoori and I have to say the food is out of this world. Amazing flavours and always super hot We choose delivery out of convenience. Delivery can take about an hour during busy times, but we take this into consideration when booking. The food always arrives earlier than advised which is great! In summary: Awesome food 🥘 Amazing service 👌 Fast delivery 🚗 💨

I could not be happier to live near this place just had two amazing Dansaks. Evening else that accompanied was spot on. Friendly,quick and that has to of been one of the best meals I have ever had.

Fantastic food chicken tikka dhansak the best

Luckily I have always favoured this take-away. Always good and as I usually phone through an order and collect it's nice to get a smile at the counter. They make their own luck and success. Mine's a Chicken Dhansak with Onion Bhajee and Poppadoms. My son Luke feels the same so here's two thumbs up for the price of one. All the best Trevor Middleton.

Our regular for Indian takeout. Service is excellent and food is great. I have never had a disappointing meal from this takeaway. We have visited/used others in the area but nothing has come close to Leith Tandori.

We have been customers of this takeaway for years. We have never had a bad meal there. We are creatures of habit and tend to opt for the same couple of dishes every time. They always seem to taste slightly different, which is interesting for us and shows the different approach of each chef working there. But it is delicious all the same. This establishment is VERY popular. We prefer to go down in person and wait for the food. We suggest you do the same. The owners of the business are helpful if you are not sure that you are making the right choice. Well done guys

Ordered takeaway took an hour for delivery! All food came warm. Lamb & prawn passanda had 1 prawn & 4 pieces of Lamb! Will not use again even though local to us, very poor value & very dissapointed

Terrible service food received 30 mins later than told so in total 1 hr and 40 mins from ordering. Food cold when arrived chips like cardboard naan bread hard and chewy. When we phoned to complain staff argued that they were right etc will not be using them again.

The food is very good. Having moved to Portchester in August last year we have been ordering from Leith ever since. However, not only has the food got to be good, so has the business. They have a recent rule, if you want to pay by card the order has to be £15. I’ve just ordered for a delivery and asked to pay by card. I was told the order needs to be £15.00. I’m paying by debit card which is so much cheaper for them than paying by a credit card. So, I asked how much is the order? £14.95 l was told. Slightly flabbergasted I asked, in jest, what they had I could order for 5p. You could add another popadom to the order they said. They obviously need the business, and so I added that popadom and it made the order £15.50. They are happy. I am not. Abuse your customer and they won’t return. I’m not returning any time soon. Hahid’z Indian is just as good. See what holding out for 5p does for your business!

You will not find a better curry than the one you will order from here. The chicken is actually chicken,taken straight from the breast just like if you cooked it yourself.I've tried all the curry shops in and around portsmouth and have yet to find better.It's consistent n taste also, something a lot of other curry shops aren't these days. 5***** quality.

Had family around for a take away meal absoutley fantastic meal full of lovely flavour. Menu so much to choose from and the price is good too. Take away was recommended to us by our son we will definately use again and would recommend too. Great service fantastic good.

I have eaten food from here many times. It is a takeaway restaurant, so you can either collect it, or have it delivered. I have done both. It is delivered quite promptly, and the food always tastes great and fresh. When I have collected food, I have seen the kitchen and it always looks lovely and clean

When this Take out first opened it was fantastic excellent service and food was fabulous! sadly over the year's it has in my eye's declined,last night was the last straw my husband ordered our meal which we share,not only was it an hour late but was not what we ordered and unfortunately cold. This morning feeling queasy,not saying it was the food anyhow not going there anymore sad really like I said used to be fabulous

Recommended by friends, driven past loads of times but never thought it would be much good, as never really heard of. How wrong can 'assumption be'. Lovely Chicken Naga, and very pleasant owner, been twice now and good meal both times and delivery up to 3 miles. Just up from Portchester Railway station and 3rd right then half mile along on right in parade of shops. Worth as visit especially for very reasonably priced food.
