Just had chicken tikka balti Kathmandu, onion rice, paratha and tarka dahl. Still enough left for one or even two meals. These days Bangladeshi food doesn't get any better than this.

Best Indian around!! My daughter will only eat the chicken tikka massala from here as well it is the best around by far! Food is always spot on and cooked to perfection 😊

Always good food from here. My only complaint is the small kebabs are massive and only ever eat a quarter. If there was an option for one half the size of a small

Ordered from taste of India last night chips were over cooked and the curry tasted very bitter salad was brown also so it wasn’t fresh ended up in the bin

I come for a pishwari nann every so often on the way home, they're super fast hard working lots of staff and the food is the best curry in bury.

I didn't get my salad with my kebab meat chips were stone cold couldn't taste an ounce of cheese in my chest and garlic nan bread not for me really. quite disappointed for over 30 pound of food.

Great choice of dishes. Food arrived slightly early (which suited us!) and was piping hot. Good value too.

I've ordered here before and the food has been fine. My order on 21st Dec was really disappointing though. The korma was ridiculously sweet, like a pudding. My kids couldn't eat it. The Aje Baje I had was full of food colouring but completely lacking in flavour (other than salt). I think the biryani was okay. Naan and chapatti were okay. I won't be ordering again. It's not cheap, and the quality of the food was poor overall. Look elsewhere.

First time trying and was not disappointed. One of the best Indian’s I have had. Absolutely delicious!

Kebab was more quantity than quality, meat was dry.

It was really poor. The meat was so dry and chewy like it was out of date and the curry had no flavour. My paratha was so thick and greasy and was basically just dough. So disappointed. As if being hungover wasn’t bad enough.

Restaurant quality food….delivered a little early and hot enough to eat…..brilliant!

Not as nice as it usually is but was piping hot and as usual it was early which suited us fine. Hopefully this was just a blip and it won’t stop me from ordering again.

Absolutely delicious, can tell everything is fresh, wouldn’t go anywhere else for kebabs. Extremely generous portion sizes, I wish you guys made a mini version of the Naga Donner kebab because I can seriously eat but struggle to finish the small! 10/10

Been here before and it was lovely I ordered again the other night and was utterly disappointed the chicken and lamb kebab was chewy dry and had no flavour at all I ended up binning the meat and eating the naan with chips and my onion bhajis has put me off ordering again

This Indian is my new favourite. The staff was very welcoming when I went in to collect, it was Bobby who served us and I couldn’t fault him. The food was so fresh and so tasty. You get a good portion size too and a good reasonable price. I would highly recommend, probably the best one in bury!

I can't fault this takeaway. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, I'd gone off Indian takeaways lately as they always seem to taste the same, here however was deliciously tasty, there was plenty of it, it was hot and delivered on time by a friendly guy and reasonably priced too. All in all a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend them.

Tikka Masala was too sweet and the naan bread was a little greasy, but the portion sizes were excellent and the chicken was good quality!

One of the beat takeaway Indians we’ve had the pleasure of tasting. Will definitely be ordering again. We had to phone up to add a request we missed in ordering and the gentleman on the phone was happy to help, the delivery driver was also polite and courteous and a great asset to the team.

We’ve used this place for probably 5 years now and always been brilliant to be fair, tonight the garlic naan tasted like it was spread with garlic paste then not cooked off (absolutely horrible, inedible) the naan on the kebab was burnt and the only edible part of the meal was the dips and the chicken, my wife is a chef and this is the only takeaway place she’ll use, so this review is mainly asking the owners what went wrong

Lamb was really tough and inedible, chicken chaat was dry, garlic chapstick was nice, rice was standard and the lamb chops were dry. Really dissatisfied as I expected better after reading the reviews. This is constructive criticism and I hope you take it on board. Thanks

Quirky place loved it nice food and staff

Really disappointed with the food received and especially for what we paid. Curry was meant to have chicken, lamb and prawns... full to bursting with sauce with a couple of bits of chicken, potentially some lamb but no prawns... naan bread was burnt and chicken and donner kebab had a mountain of donner meat, couple of pieces of chicken, no salad and again a burnt naan

Disappointed after having really high hopes when I read the reviews. I don't know if I got my food on a bad day but it mainly ended up in the bin! Lamb biryani - wasn't lamb sign in the takeaway said due to a shortage of lamb they use rump! Saw this after I had paid and ordered on their site. This was really chewy and the pieces of meat were inedible! Rice was not fluffy or soft looked great but tasted like they had been reheated from night before. Garlic chicken - very strong taste of burnt garlic. Onion bhaji - were raw in the middle, guessing cooked in oil that was too hot outside was crispy but inside was raw and uncooked Chicken bhaji - too much onions in this thats all we could taste Keema naan - barely any keema I'm it, was just essentially a plain naan Ordered 2 vegi curry sides a gobi aloo, the gobi was watery and bland. Dal was probably the best out of everything we tried and even then I've had better. Chapati very rubbery don't think the best flour has been used for this. In conclusion it was a let down and I would not eat from here again. I really didn't want to leave this review but we ordered a lot of food off the menu and it was all well below average!

Tried Taste of India for the first time last night. Speedy delivery, delivery guy very polite and the food was excellent, found my new fav curry takeaway.

Ridiculous portion. King Kebab was easily 4 lbs but Chicken Tikka and Donner was similar sized. Didn't fit on a plate. Unfortunately, poor quality. Donner was tasteless and dry, chicken tikka not great. Also got a vindaloo for dipping and tasted like base gravy. Missing spice or flavour. I'd rather have a kebab 1/4 the size but taste decent. Had curries here in the past and been fine. Maybe an off day! No one needs that much food though. Each Kebab could have easily fed four people. Hot sauce was quite nice but would have needed another 6 tubs to dip all the food in. Delivery was 45 minutes early but I do live close by.

First review, but been having a takeaway at least once a month, from taste of india for the last 6 months if not longer. Every meal has been exceptional. The delivery time is amazing, they have always deelivered quicker than advertised, the food is the best, you would not be disappointed. Can not recommend them enough. Added bonus the app is so easy to use and you can earn loyalty points.

Thought ide try having seen reviews. Wish I hadn't my curry was watery with a pool of stock in the bottom. Average taste not great I'll stick to stubbins

I hate the fact that you’ve changed to using Just Eat and will probably cease to use ToI in the future. I’ve not used ToI for a few months so I was extremely disappointed with the lowering of standards. A pity.

Absolutely brilliant BEEF vindaloo, perfectly cooked, and everything was spot on, very pleasant delivery driver.

I haven't ordered from here in probably over six months, but back when I did it was wonderful food, the garlic naan was thin and full of garlic butter and the curry was really tasty! But this time the lamb in the curry was really fatty and chewy, the curry itself was bland and the chips we got looked like they had been fried about 4 times and were chewy aswell, I'm in disbelief this came from the same place to be honest, I don't know if it has new owners or this meal was just a blip but the whole meal was terrible and mostly ended up in the bin.

Used to love this place. But spent over £40 on food tonight, the lamb chops had barely any meat on them. The chicken tikka started was undercooked. The curry was so bland and the chicken was super tough couldnt eat it atall. Overall very disappointed, its not a cheap place so you’d expect the quality to be excellent every time. But tonight i may aswell have thrown £40+ into the wind

Just not much flavour and arrived bearly warm, won't be ordering again.

Was looking forward to this considering the good reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. Madras, plain sauce, rogan josh and sambar all looked and tasted basically the same. Some worse than others, bland and a weird aftertaste. The only saving grace was the chips and even they were reminiscent of toothpicks. Expect to have your gums mutilated by them, because there's no potato inside just chewy disappointment. Garlic rice wasn't bad however. I'll stick to jewel in the crown.

Delivery service was great, friendly driver. But food wasn’t as great at all. That was the most dry kebab I’ve ever had . Chicken was so dry, lack of sauce too. Issue is that chicken wasn’t even seasoned. It looked like it was marinated , but doesn’t have any salt or any taste whatsoever. It was quite disappointing. Meat samosas were alright. I hope it was just one off , but that unfortunately put me off ordering from this place again.
