Top class. Was in last night with a group of friends. Can't fault it. Service and food was impeccable

I have to admit it not the best looking restaurant from the outside but the food was second to none. Me and my son had a the menu for two £42.00 we can eat but the amount of food you got we could not finish it. The waiters were very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us choose the menu we wanted.

Love this place they are so hospitable and helpful. Myself, family and friends went to eat there for my belated birthday and shiny was so obliging, helpful and the team there were so pleasant and friendly! Food was amazing, service was second to none, affordable prices and then out of the gesture of their kindness brought me a birthday cake out and got everyone singing happy birthday. Just everything there ticked the box. Great work guys 🤗

Astounding service. We were a group of over 20 who preordered for service at around 10:30. Amazing service. By the end of the night the head server had learned all our names. He offered to alter the spice of my dish whenever I needed to. If you visit, tip well because it's well deserved.

What a fantastic evening at the Indian lounge, we went to celebrate at birthday, usually we go to another local Indian restaurant, but after a few poor service experiences on our last couple of visits we thought we'd try here instead, we'd already read positive reviews and we were definitely not disappointed, the food was delicious, and the staff and manager just went the extra mile to provide a 5 star service, the whole experience was excellent, we will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First visit for four of us. Very impressed with the menu, the service and most importantly the food! It was quite early on a Saturday evening so a bit quiet but we'll be back!

Never really one to write a review but we was absolutely blown away by the food and the hospitality when we visited Indian Lounge, we was there for a friends birthday and as much as the food is amazing, the waiter really made our night, he was so accommodating, he gave brilliant advice on the menu and went out of his way to make sure we was all satisfied and had everything we needed, I mean with 13 people this can be difficult but he did this so effortlessly and naturally. Our new favourite place!

Good menu and food, it's also been good food every time we've ordered or visited. The garlic naan is beautifully soft and fluffy when eating in, it didn't travel quite so well.

Great attentive service, ensuring you get a curry at the right spice level.The quality of dishes were excellent.

I absolutely love this place. We always have such a great time. The food is lovely . .and there is plenty of it, including vegetarian options. The service is great and we can just take out time and enjoy a fabulous meal. With so much choice about, I never understand how other restaurants don't make the effort . . I think they need to come and eat here and see how a good restaurant does it!

We love a trip to Indian Lounge. Every time the food is tasty while the staff are friendly, attentive and make you feel so welcome. Lovely place with great service only one small thing for us was completely unsure why poppadoms would be £1 each and the Chutney trays £4.20. The reason why we didn't order any. Double the cost of anywheres else.

This is quite possibly the best Indian restaurant in the entirety of greater Manchester. I have dined here with my family over the span of 10 years and can’t recall a single negative experience. The food is out of this world and they deliver this with unmatched consistency. Each and every one of the staff provide the most incredible customer service and ensure that even the finest of details are perfected. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming providing the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the finest of Indian cuisine. I can’t recommend this place enough, If you’re considering visiting for the first time, then wait no longer!

Takeaway was soooo good. Garlic butter chicken and garlic chicken tikka. Best peshwari bread ever tasted. Mushroom pilaf rice is very tasty. Found a gem here.

I cannot thank Shiney enough for his lovely customer service tonight. What a lovely manager and credit to the company. The whole team could not have done enough for us. Always asking if we needed anything. We had a party of 14 and had a really lovely time. The children were made to feel so welcome and even got to feed the fish at the end which they where thrilled about! The food was absolutely top notch. Had a surprise 50th Birthday celebration here last Friday to kick off the start of my Birthday weekend. Can honestly say we had the best night. There were 9 of us in total and the restaurant was packed out. This did not impact on service whatsoever. Staff were brilliant, very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable even made one of our guests a special curry to her taste. Would definitely recommend. Food was really tasty all piping hot and served well. Will definitely be returning. Special shout out to Shiny.

Simply the best Indian food in the area. There are plenty of good Indian restuarants to be found, but the subleties of flavours in the dishes here are just amazing. I've tried several of them, all of which have been just that bit better than the competion. Like beers, Indian food is no different, in that all are slightly different & therefore somewhat subjective when it comes to personal taste. But for me, they are just that bit better than the rest. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic food. Very attentive. Somewhat too attentive! Last 2 visits finished our food, not offered desert menu but given our bill. Wasn't full and we had only spent an hour inside the restaurant both times. Apart from that highly recommend.

Not usually one to complain or write publicly... Have been to Indian Lounge this evening + to be fair the main course was very tasty. However, the popadums were stale! We mentioned this to our waiter who apologised but didn't swap them / offer anything off the bill or any gesture for this. We normally go to Cardamom Cream in Ramsbottom (which is on the expensive side) but at least they do have fresh popadums!! Next time we will be back to CC!!

Just tried for the first time since moving to ramsbottom and it was absolutely amazing, everything was delicious, arrived early and even gave us some free onion bhajis, I think this will be my new local Indian thanks so much

I visited this restaurant with some work colleagues, as it had been recommended as a brilliant restaurant, so we booked the restaurant,we arrived on time and on arrival we was greeting by a young man you showed us to our table, there was about ten of us. we waited for the young man to come along and ask us if we required any drinks , so we gave him our request, and we all got what we had asked for because he had written it down. The waited then arrived to ask us if we was ready to place are order for our food and we were, so again he wrote it all down on his little not pad, and off he went to the kitchen, it wasn't to long before the food arrived, we all got the food that we ordered and we was asked if we would like any more drinks, so we placed another order again he wrote down, everyone tucked into the food, il be totally honest I've had better chicken tikka massala from a microwave meal, and a couple of other colleagues who had other dishes said there food was very disappointing too, we asked for the bill and we was all paying separately, now this is were it get messy we all paid for absolutely everything we had and left them an £8 from a colleague and they said there was about £30 short, we worked it out and this was never possible, we asked how it could have been possible especially when we had left a tip and they said it's added up to that, we paid the extra and went on our way, the next day we was all at work and it was really bugging us that we knew we paid enough, I asked the restaurant to send me a copy of the bill put the guy on the phone said oh we don't keep them🔔 starts ringing im thinking something isn't right here, then he sent a message about 20 minutes later saying oh I've managed to find it.... so he sent it over to me but there was no drinks on the bill, so I then questioned that, he said we don't put drinks on the bill...how on earth do they keep a tally of the drinks everybody had, 🤔 anybody else had any experience like this at this restaurant, and the guy on the phone was really nasty when I queried anything, so just to make people aware watch out for the prices they charge you for your drinks that arnt on your bill !!

Not local to the restaurant, so called in casually for the mid-week special they used to do. Unfortunately they have now stopped this, so our spend was upped somewhat to £35 per person. Both the food and service were excellent.

We visited Indian Lounge in Ramsbottom (on our way back from a great result against Man U) based on the positive reviews this restaurant receives - however our experience was a disappointing one. Our starter set the tone and although our pickles were good, the poppadoms were stale and would only bend rather than snap. Our curries continued the disappointing theme. My chicken tikka lava had meat that was difficult to cut and the sauce was rather gloopy and without the fairly hot spice that was promised. The rice was also stodgy. My son had a chicken balti and his views about his meal were very similar to mine. The restaurant was busy but seemed quite chaotic and a lot of shouting could be heard from the kitchen. The atmosphere just didn't feel very professional and calming. I have eaten at and reviewed many Indian restaurants across the UK, but sadly the food at Indian Lounge is at the bottom end of my experiences.

We were staying in a local hotel and really wanted an Indian Meal. We walked in and felt at home. Great meal, friendly staff. This was in the summer of 2019. We enjoyed the experience so much that we booked a table for mums birthday a few days later, my nephew and his girlfriend were also visiting from Holland, which is where we live. Great evening. This year will be the first time we have been back and we are so looking forward to marvelous food and service. It is asking me to select a time we were there but our year is not in the list so I just clicked on the latest date.

One of the nicest curries I’ve had. Shiny (not sure of spelling!) was great fun. Food took a while to come but it was very busy in there which just shows that’s it’s a popular place and it was worth the wait.

We have been eating here for many years and often make the 30 minute journey for a take away order. The restaurant is family run and the staff are very knowledgeable on the dishes available. The food over the years has remained a consistently high quality. Last year they won a very well deserved Curry Life Award. For a take away order, you can’t beat the curry set meal for two. It never disappoints. I can’t recommend any particular dish as all are excellent. Well done guys👍

Another superb meal from the best Indian restaurant in Lancashire. Great service with polite and well turned out staff. Very reasonably priced. My 70th birthday and my family of 8 where all delighted with the food and service was as always excellent.

Regular takeaway customers and always pay cash. Tonight, I mistakenly attempted to pay via card. (We had ordered earlier on in the evenng with another takeaway firm with a card machine hence my oversight. I was making a second order of the day to the lounge for my son. The ordered totalled £15) We explained this to the deliver guy who accepted our mistake and apology. He gave us our food and advised us to just ring the restaurant to speak with the manager who would help me to sort it out. I rang straight away to organise payment and to apologise for my error. Shiny answered and spoke with me in a very harsh and abrupt tone, giving me warnings etc., I was definately shocked at his attitude but put it down to him having a bad shift at work, sent the payment straight away. Two minutes later Shiny was ringing me and tbh I did expect an apology and thought maybe the payment had processed through really quickly but no - Shiny remained abrupt, demanding payment, even threatening to come to my home to view my bank account because he did not believe I had sent it (last two mins). I warned Shiny I was not alone in the property and he would be speaking with my husband. I then had to warn all my family that Shiny would be arriving at our property in the next few moments - everyone was in total shock!!!! To say everyone was on edge was an understatement. The phone rang again (two mins). My husband answered and spoke with Shiny. Shiny advised my husband the payment had now arrived and apologised. My husband was happy to accept it. My son thought the food was delicious but I will never order from the lounge again for all the reasons above.

Visited following recommendation for my sons 7th birthday. What an amazing place. Outstanding food. Shiney looked after us, he got the whole restaurant singing for my little lads birthday and made a real fuss. My eldest lad has autism and only eats beige food - Shiney somehow managed to get him to try a mixed starter & he ate half & loved it - he really was so attentive to getting it right for everyone. All our food choices were spot on, best Indian we’ve been to and can’t wait to return. Had a table next to the fish which the kids loved 🥰

Amazing food and amazing service. I travel a lot on business and look for a good place to enjoy and this place was top notch. There were so many different and interesting dishes on offer it was hard to choose. The manager ’Shiney’ said he could give me a ‘Thaali’ (tapas style) of sauces which I’ve never been offered before. First class and friendly staff. Get your self here.

Such a great vibe, with Shiny as the host you feel like there's nothing he wouldn't do to make your dining experience a memorable one . From arrival to departure . He suggested he take a photo., gave us full review of menu specific to each person's palate, gave us the opportunity to rejig the spice if it needed more / less once we were served. He is v engaging and charismatic! We were all v v pleased with our menu choices and plan to return.

Well what a gem of a place! We booked a table for 6 which included 2 young children. The manager could not do anymore for us as always. Super friendly, great with the children (they actually ate all their dinner with the promise they could feed their fish, this promise was certainly kept). Comment from my 4 and 6 year old on the way home "that was the best place ever with the tastiest curry".

Indian lounge has always been decent at a reasonable price. These days its a little more expensive but the food has improved too. Had a cracking meal and the quality is up there with the best Indian restaurants in the area.

Could not have been better. Think 🤔 everyone had the same idea as we had for a Saturday afternoon, a few beers around town and then tea in the Indian. The place was busy when we arrived but we had already booked a table. The service was excellent and the staff were so welcoming. Big choice on the menu which would cover everyones favourite. I went for something different, sea bass as a fish 🐠 starter and found a lamb shank in with the chefs specials for my main. The food was excellent and it's a long time since we had an Indian meal and actually ate everything that was put in front of us. A visit is a must when visiting Ramsbottom it was outstanding. Booked my daughters 21st meal for 12 of us and the place did not disappoint. We firstly had an extra guest who they seated without a problem for us and then made the evening one of pure entertainment. They allowed us time to catch up with each other without rushing us , kept the drinks flowing and set some great table challenges that had us laughing most of the night. The food here is delicious and everyone has since contacted me today to say its the best curry they have had in a long time. I cannot wait to come back - shiny and the team u made the night one to remember for the birthday girl thank you so much !!
