Absolutely fabulous Indian food, by a country mile.

We visited on a wet Monday evening whilst on our way to see a concert in the city centre. It was good to find the restaurant open, but it had a soulless feel about it with lots of staff and only a few customers. Our poppadom/dips and curries were given as very generous portions so we struggled to eat them. The flavours were nothing special, but fine considering the reasonable cost. Staff were pleasant, but I'm not sure we would visit again.

We normally really enjoy the food at The Prachee. However, this evenings meal was very disappointing.

It was so mix match! Some of it was lovely, some of it was all wrong! The most expensive curry I ordered didn’t come.. but instead some form of veggie curry with absolutely no spice. I ordered a chicken buhna and instead got what I think was just an original curry of some sort, again no taste and no spice. There was also an omelette and rice which we didn’t order. The yogurt tasted like it had just been sat curdling for a while and the chips were slightly undercooked and soggy. I ordered as soon

We were, as usual gretted very warmly. Had great service, not too fast not too slow. I asked for something that wasn't on the menu, to which the manager said he understood. The meal he delivered was fantastic. Both my wife and I have never failed to enjoy everything about this restaurant.

Why 5 stars? This is the reason why we keep going back. Always 5 stars 😀😀😀

Been here before, and will go again and again. This is the best Indian Restaurant in my 73yrs on this earth l have ever visited. Staff Food prices are above and beyond. Sadly l don't get out much these days, but l promise if you have never been there TRY IT and you will go back AGAIN & AGAIN.

We were greeted by very friendly and polite staff who took our coats and showed us to our table. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. Very tasty and extremely filling. Highly recommended.

Usually amazing service, quick delivery and food always top notch. Everything was cold and soggy and clearly been sat around for ages before it arrived. Unlikely to order again after this now.

Not received half of order. Spoke to manager who said he’d send it out. Waited and waited. Still nothing. Ring manager on number he called me from and he said he’d gone home. Over 3 hours and no meal. Absolute joke.

To be fair, I ordered from the set veggie menu for one, so it has to be catered to as broad a pallette as possible. However I was not expecting it to lack spice entirely. I thought there might be at least some seasoning. The potatoes were perfect but there were a lot of cauliflower stalks and everything was very oily - not from ghee but just regular, bland vegetable oil. I have not lived in Manchester long but this is surely not the type of curry the city is famous for?

Great Fresh Curry as usual can’t speak highly enough about the Prachee. The food arrived sooner than expected I appreciated the 10% discount and the complimentary poppadoms and dips I received also . Thanks

Took the kids and parents for dads bday. Only been a couple of times but both times super friendly staff and great food. We’ll defo return 👍👍

Absolutely horrible service. We’ve been here as a family for absolute years and always had such a lovely meal. This time around I am speechless. We ordered a dish (prawns) asked could it be served without batter. Was told yes that’s fine. Was not explained how the dish would come out. It had come out as a singular prawn. No lie we genuinely laughed as we thought we were being had on or it was a joke. We asked for the waiter who was extremely rude. Was in my mums face shouting at her showing her the menu “it’s how we do it love” he kept shouting, throwing his arms around and hands in her face. I asked him very calmly and politely to calm down and all we would like would be for the dish to be removed off the menu. He got even more irritated shouting at us, not sure if it was because we were two women sat on our own. Not to play the “sexist card” but it felt very that much way. I asked to pay tor what we had ordered already, two poppadoms and two drinks and we were going to leave. I had actually asked if we could pay for the whole order prior to this and have it bagged up as we felt uncomfortable now eating there with him shouting at us like that. I asked to speak to his boss which his response was met in screaming at me “I AM THE BOSS” again leaning over hands in our faces slamming everything down infront of us. My two friends had just walked in and was met with the whole conversation and had walked straight out. Then the guy who originally greeted us came over and couldn’t apologise enough. It took 10 minutes for another member of staff to come over to help us. The angry little guy eventually walked away. I don’t even have any words, never ever have I complained anywhere before but this was just shocking.

Took over 2 hours to deliver. Food was lukewarm at best. Chips cold and soggy. Delivery driver issues apparently. Stop taking orders then it would make sense wouldn’t it. Asked for a partial refund through just eat but the restaurant refused. £30 down the drain. The offer of a free item next time was a joke really tbh. There won’t be a next time

Order didn't arrive, called to enquire and staff didn't speak English. Can't review the food as didn't review but will never order from here again.

Great curry every time we go staff friendly

Had takeaway. Cold. Tasteless and extremely poor quality. Onion bahjis tasted 2 days old. Rogan Josh like baby food - no flavour. Yogurt sauce was like water. Garlic naan was rubbery and Tasteless. Only thing ok was rice - but cold! Complete waste of money!!!

Went here for a surprise 70th birthday with all my family and loved it from the food to the brilliant service will be coming again soon

Really sorry to do this. As I’ve had great curries from here before. But the delivery was late, missed an item off the order ( bottle of coke) appreciated coming back out with. But I would expect this as it’s only round the corner from address. Most importantly the food was cold. I know it’s Friday night and you may have been busy, but it’s Disappointing.

Oh wow they make the best chicken Dhansak I’ve ever had, & poppadoms & Dhal soup. This is my favourite restaurant The staff are lovely & professional & don’t keep you waiting. I’ve been coming for years but went last night for my birthday. 10/10 thanks guys Xx

Just a first class restaurant with great food, a good selection of drinks, and very friendly staff. I came over from Ireland to visit family and we always go the the Prachee at least once per visit. I've eaten Indian food all my life and this rates right up there with the best. And the prices are very reasonable. I know I mentioned the friendly staff, but I'll do it again because they are. I do a lot of reviews and I normally like to take some pictures and include them. For some reason every time I visit the Prachee I forget to wait for photos and just start eating straight away. The food is that good.

Takeaway option. Food was cooked and delivered within 40 minutes. The best curry we've had in the prestwich area for quite some time! The price also beat neighbouring takeaways. Staff were very friendly and swift service. Good value for money. Unable to rate atmosphere due to it being a takeaway.

This is our second time visiting. Really nice food, friendly welcoming staff and reasonably priced. I've recommended the place to a few friends who have gone and they have also really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visit!

This is the first time visiting for a friends birthday. I ordered lamb rogan josh. The food was absolutely superb. The staff were excellent,and the service was brilliant. It is a long time since I have had a curry as good as what I had. Nothing was never to much,and the welcome from management was excellent. WELL DONE TO EVERYBODY. THANKS AGAIN. I will return.

Came here for a meal last Friday, The food and service was excellent so tasty. I had a chicken Tikka Vindaloo 👌and the Naan bread was on point. Will be returning next time I fancy a curry. Service was friendly and efficient. Keep up the good work guys.10/10

We have used The Prachee’s food delivery service on numerous occasions . The food is always of a very high standard. Deliveries are very often around the time estimated and staff we deal with both on the telephone and at the door are friendly. On visits to the restaurant itself the experience has always been an enjoyable one.

Probably the best tasting curry in the area. However starter cost Vs portion size needs re-thinking. 2x onion bhajis for £3.50 which were super dry.£7.50 mixed starter had 4 items items. Not value for money in my opinion.

From the minute you walk in the staff are so friendly and attentive. It was a large family meal and it ran perfectly smooth, from getting drinks to the food arrival. Every person that was there said how fresh the starters were and that the curries ordered were at a high standard and tasty. Curries from korma to madras we had a great range. My daughter didn’t want to bring her birthday cake and the manager made sure she had cake and brought it out with a sparkler in. Nothing was too much trouble. Great people …. Great food

Not on the ball today guys! Super, super slow delivery. Informed by Just Eat that the food was on its way at 6pm, but it didn't arrive until 7pm. I could walk it in half that time. The food was great, but we received additional items. Great for us, but did someone else miss out?

The most friendly service we have ever experienced! We visited on Monday, travelling over from Bolton after it turned out our local place had closed down and we googled for an alternative. Just visited our local Indian restaurant for my partners birthday on a Monday evening, never think to go in as we have so many places to choose to eat at in the area, me and my partner said we definitely need to visit more often, we had the best meal and the most excellent service from Tunu & staff… this is a restaurant worthy of 5 stars

There were 7 of us celebrating my daughters birthday we all had a great meal even the 8 yr old had a smaller curry. The menu has a brilliant choice for all taste The service was brilliant. I highly recommend The Prachee for old and young. Once you have been you will go again we certainly are xxx
