Masala Express in Bradford

First time. Both my wife and I are vegetarian. In Bradford it's hard to get a really good vegetarian curry. Not any more. We had a mushroom and paneer balti, and a tarka dhal. It did not disappoint. The depth of flavour in the sauce was delicious. Will definitely be going back again. Well done guys.

Finally, a chef who can cook a genuine and authentic Makhani. Tasted great, with a little bit of heat. This was far from the typical bland makhani served at most takeaways. Seekh kebabs were very nice and the sauce was very minty. Pilau rice and garlic naan were very nice as well. After trying many places in Bradford this has been by far the best.

Sad how the food quality has gone down. Not sure if it is lack of knowledge, interest or skill. We really enjoyed the food we ordered in the past but since couple of orders, it has been quite disappointing. Surely can't go wrong with the chefs specials therefore called chefs specials? Hope the team gets back into the right focus and momentum and delivers good food like they did.

Curry absolutely beautiful tasty would definitely recommend delivery to home and in the time frame we asked for nice and hot butter chicken beautiful masla chicken tasty and full of chicken and tasty try you won't be disappointed

We had a short stay in Thornton for new years. When we're away we try and avoid going to the same place twice... but we returned to Masala Express! Wonderful takeaway! Perfectly spiced and seasoned. Generous portions. Great booking system with Just Eat too.

Fantastic food all prepared fresh to order from quality fresh ingredients and the freshest of spices Generous portions means, although it's not cheap it's still value for money. Fish Masala - my go to curry everywhere we eat - was probably the best I've ever had and that's really something in Bradford. Mixed kebab starter was an absolute feast. For a small village takeaway this is an amazing find.

Usually quite good but tonight was a real disappointment. Not a single dish was seasoned, which is hard to believe. Also there was no spice to the dishes whatsoever. Over all really disappointing.

Only thing i have eaten in last 24 hours, only thing that has made me projectile vomit all night. Still laid in bed and can't move, self employed so lost a full day pay!!!! Should have known, i didnt eat much because it did not taste nice!!! Good job really, i do bot doubt i would be in hospital if i had eaten it all!!!

Ordered and collected, rotis were missing. Don’t get me started the mint sauce was all over the bag. Chapattis were ice cold, soggy bhajis and pakoras and the curry was genuinely the worst curry from a takeaway I’ve ever had no taste and it was absolutely freezing. STAY AWAY.

Ordered a meal from here at 19.08 it said waiting would be an hour we was still waiting 2 hours later. After I rang they said they was just doing it. The curry was the worst I have ever had covered in oil so all greasy all the lot went in the bin won't be ordering again.

Had a lovely welcome, starter was a meal in its self, 2 curry's, mushroom rice, and a garlic nan wonderful, had to bring a doggybag home, I highly recommend it yummy

I ordered for the first time from here and I have to say the food and service I received was outstanding. The food was delivered within the stated time, the tikka masala, rice and chippattis I ordered was really nice. The portions were big enough, the curry was full and packed with chicken, and tasted perfect. The chippatti soft and hot, and even the boiled rice tasty and fluffy and separate too, not all stuck together like some. I'll without a doubt be ordering from here again.

At this time of the year I would be in India for our winter but covid put a stop to that . I hate the usual take aways there disgusting . The curries i ordered from here was perfection the naan was beautifull !!! If you want a taste of India order from here amazing. The delivery driver is brilliant and will tell you how your curry is cooked with fresh ingredients. Loved the experience definitely order again

Lovely curries from here just make sure everything you order is there. Spent over £40 on starters and main courses, no chapattis for the curries or salad for starter arrived. After numerous calls saying driver en route nobody arrived.

Wow the delivery driver Ash wasn't joking and was right to big up his food when I ordered from them for the first time yesterday. Every part of the food was absolutely amazing from the chips, the starters to the main course. Had to wait a little longer for it to be cooked than other curry shops but definitely worth the wait. We live in illingworth, Halifax but I'm prepared to travel to get great food again. Thankyou to all at the Masala Express for such a great taste experience 😉🙂👍🏾 Ben Lee

Ash the main delivery guy what an absalute geeza!👌🏼 told us all about the ingredients they use and how their currys are different from other curry houses, and Oh my days! They are 1000% better! Give em a try, or your missing out! Everything tastes so fresh! No wonder Ash is so proud of working there!

We just visited here for the first time after moving nearby, and ordering for collection. We had a friendly welcome like I’ve never experienced, a pristine kitchen full of smiling people who want to talk to you about the food. The food was incredible, so so fresh and full of flavour. Every dish tasted unique, and the flavours were amazing. The menu is perfectly sized, and they label everything for dietary requirements which I was really impressed by. Prices are excellent. We will absolutely be returning here, and hopefully eat in next time - there is a small cosy dining section with a lovely atmosphere from the kitchen.

We have been ordering for about 2 months and waited to write our review as past experiences with takeaways have been good the 1st few orders then down hill. I have to say the food is absolutely amazing! We have tried a number of dishes and all have been great. Always have time on the phone to make sure your order is correct and delivered on time by a great delivery driver!! Thanks keep it up! Just what Thornton needed.

Best curry in Bradford by a significant margin. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. The only problem is I would really like to keep it secret so that I can always get a table. Superb!

This has been a God send for me in my local area as there’s no where nearby that offers truly authentic Asian cooking. I’ve had all types of curries that have all been delicious, especially the keema. The chicken wings are incredible, so succulent and an amazing taste. The lamb chops are divine! I order chicken steak a lot and it’s always so perfectly seasoned and cooked. Not one complaint about the place. And lovely staff! Fully recommended it!

Appalling. Just got a chicken bhuna. Was 2/3 chicken 1/3 gee. Most of chicken OK, but some bits gristly and uneatable, which is surprising for " chicken " Got a side salad ( actually found 2 when got home ) but minute portions and sauce was sloppy and the salad not fresh lettuces leaves browning !! This is the 4th I have tried and last I have and will get. Each time the food as got worse. I cannot recommend this takeaway at all. Very poor. Food on floor and no one interested in cleaning it up. Rather spend a little extra and get fantastic food from Wilsden Balti.

First time iv had anything from here.. very clean... as soon i you walked in was greeted with great customer services.. took my order stright away and was told how long it would be.. .with my order i got free onion bargees ..amazing.. got home and the food very tasty chicken dansak and chicken curry. Defo recommend this takeawys..best iv had for a long time well done guys
