Always friendly and welcoming Brilliant place to catch all the sports and very comfortable. I'm a visitor to Sheffield for the last few weeks and have enjoyed the friendly chat and welcome while catching the football matches. Love it ❤️👍

Great local pub , good selection off beers 🍻

Updated since new management - This is now more than a sports pub and has a welcoming and family friendly feel with an increasing range of quality beers. We spent New Years Eve at the pub and enjoyed it greatly with friends. Warm, welcoming and a good service.

This pub has now been turned around and is a lovely, local, friendly place with a pool table. The new year's eve event was great fun. The landlady had made lots of effort to make this a fun evening. My family had a brilliant night.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless your in a certain social clique as they will ask the so called landlady to remove you..which she will do..this used to be my local..I won't be ever going back there..

Warm welcome Great range of larger. The prices ain't bad either. Must add the sportsman doesn't sell food

Amazing pub that deserves more custom than it gets.

Good atmosphere and service, never tried the food. A good around family pub.

Contactless payment system on the pool table, which was great for us, so we stayed and had a few pints and games.

Nice family working hard at a difficult job.

Really good bar staff. Didn't have to wait to get served even though it was fairly busy. And I'm a southerner

Visité aquí con mi pareja y mis dos hijos a la hora del té. Todos tuvimos una comida y una bebida. El proyecto de ley llegó a solo 24, ya que las hamburguesas estaban 2 - 4 - 1. Todos disfrutaron sus comidas. Las hamburguesas eran Aberdeen Angus en bollos de brioche. Las patatas fritas eran realmente crujientes y porciones decentes. Mi hija es vegetariana y realmente disfruté el queso macarrones con pan de ajo. He pasado por este lugar muchas veces y nunca he estado. Normalmente vamos a los Wetherspoons locales, lo cual está bien, pero no es tan bueno como el que teníamos aquí. Esta fue nuestra primera visita, pero definitivamente no será la última. Vale la pena intentarlo si estás de paso. Una mención especial a Callum que cocinó nuestras comidas y se aseguró de que las disfrutáramos. Gracias a todos en el deportista por una agradable merienda. Los veremos a todos nuevamente pronto.

Walked in and the smell at the pool side wasn't very pleasent stood at bar to be told they only serve at the other side after I'd been stood there a while maybe a note on the bar would help. Food wasn't that good prawn sandwich was missing lettuce and lacking taste of the seafood sauce. Not sure if its new owners as was lovely last year when we went overall needs a good clean inside and out .

Good Music, and location for Sports TV. Friendly atmosphere.

No cook on Wednesday evening. Made arrangements to meet friend Saturday dinner and it wasn't open and no one answered the phone.

Food was great and the kids didn't complain about their food either.like the new range of burgers very nice

We went in for the first time in over a year with our 12 year old, after hearing the pub had new management. We received a friendly welcome & it seems like the new management are trying hard to change the image & make it a pub that is suitable for families again. They have a good varied menu, with lots of offers, we went for the 2 for 1 burgers. The burgers were very tasty & came with sides as well. The beer was a good price & the John Smith's & Amstel were both very nice pints. The pub is now dog friendly at all times (previously only between certain hours). There is plenty of parking & when we finally get a summer the outdoor area has lots of seating & a grass where children can play. The pub is located not far from Graves park & the bus stops are right outside.

Watched the Steel City Derby here as always - couple or three beers (plenty on draught) gammon and chips was ok for pub food as well (considering the price/it was only Just over £20 for two of us for two meals and drinks!).

This is honestly one of the best pubs I have been to. It’s extremely friendly, welcoming, updated (not got a stale smell to it, TVs everywhere and even takes card payments). The prices are really good. The barmen are lovely too, and genuinely talk to you instead of just serving you and pushing you aside. The food is also very nice, and well worth the price! The atmosphere here is excellent, it’s warm, welcoming and has a proper local pub feeling (if that makes any sense). Having not long moved to Sheffeild from London, I can honestly say this is my new ‘local’. Thank you guys! ❤️

Great place to watch live sports and good beer garden with bouncy castle during summer months. Food good too and reasonably priced.

Good pint , food , people very friendly well worth a visit ...bouncy castle in the outdoor seating area for the little ones ...

Pleasantly surprised. My inner snob thought it looked like trouble from the outside but friendly staff and customers combined with well priced beers. Lots of TVs showing sport so you won't miss a match here.
