Had to wait 20 minutes ordered 3 chapatis got one Food was average Disappointed

Ordered 19.30 told delivery 20.40-21.00 At 21.00 time changed to 21.20. I tried. At 21.20 i received phonecall to say order being dispatched. I phoned at 21.40 - told it was on way. Arrived at 21.56. Never using this place again

food was very good again, but whole thing too about 2 hours

Excellent service, excellent food! We were warmly greeted into a lively and cosy restaurant, and left an hour or two later completely happy and satisfied by one of the best Indian meals we have ever had. Everything was truly outstanding, and simply fantastic value for money.

First time coming here normally an attercliffe indus girl the staff catered to our needs they was fantastic the food was fantastic will definitely see us again couldn't fault a thing

Embarrassed for them. A half empty restaurant and we were completely ignored for over 15mins after being seated, not even any water. Walked out in disgust.

Poor service, sat at our table for 15 minutes, and ignored. There were only 3 other seated tables, so it was not even busy. Pathetic. The decor inside was basic and cold. I do not recommend it. We left for a better restaurant with good service and a cozy atmosphere.

Suburb Monday curry night experience. Amazing food and amazing service. Even the chef came out to have a chat! And we left with an extra slice of cheesecake. Will be back very soon Thankyou!

This place is an absolute gem! The food is delicious and filled with flavour. Most often we use them for a takeaway where the food is always delivered hot and in good time. We hardly ever see any issues but if we do, they’re so polite and helpful on the phone and get it sorted quickly without any fuss. We have dined in at the Monday curry club where the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Early delivery- tasty food appreciated by all the family

food was delivered on time and was really lovely and tasty. In the past I have received small extras for free, disappointed that wasn't the case today. This didn't take away from the deliciousness of the food though! Enjoyed every mouthful x

Disappointing. Lots of servers, but they mostly just chatted at the bar. When they did eventually take our order, it still took them about half an hour to bring out the soft drink cans. Nice place, average food but poor service.

The restaurant itself was greeted by a lovely gentlemen who welcomed us into their establishment with a smile and a great service, sat us down and communicated with us very well. He answered all the queries we had and was extremely patient and a really lovely lad. the food was absolutely beautiful, it was one of the best Indian restaurants locally that I have been to, and service was not to long or short, perfect timings. It was a Sunday night so a little quiet than it usually would be but lovely gentle music, the restaurant was clean and the service itself top notch. I highly recommend this place, I am coming back here very soon. Keep this great service and great food going team, I literally have no negatives to say about this place.

Very sad to say that as I'm moving to France very soon I won't be able to use my 5 stamps discount for this incredible restaurant. Absolutely stunning food (lamb saag is to die for ❤️!!), super friendly staff and an all round fabulous experience. Went for a curry last Friday. Seemed surprisingly quiet when we went in and were the only people in for the first hour (we came in at 7pm). All 7 of our curries were delicious and definitely one of the best I've ever had. Their family recipe curry was very flavourful and you even got to choose your spice level. Has the added benefit of BYOB with no corkage charge (the restaurant doesn't have a licence). Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Wow this is a little gem, the lamb chops were the best I've ever had, they made my partner a lamb dupiaza extra mild, same again the best she's ever had, everything was outstanding and I consider myself a curry critique

Went last night for the first time. The food was delicious we all had the sizzler platter and throughly enjoyed it . The staff were so lovely it had a really relaxed cosy feel with a friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back well done cafe indus .

Sadly the food was delivered after 90min from making the order and the quality wasn’t best either. We asked for some specifics and this was not applied (food intolerances).

No communication even though order was 25 mins later than upper limit accepted.

Yet again a great balti and the best peshawar naan in Sheffield. Delicious, great portions and delivered hot.

Cafe Indus provided the catering for my Mama's memorial. The food was excellent, everyone commented and folk have called me to since to ask who supplied it! The service was exceptional, with them turning up as arranged, providing everything they said they would and having someone stay to ensure everything was topped up and sorted. Couldn't recommend them more if I tried!

We had a party at home and needed a large order delivering. The food arrived on time and was kept lovely and warm all nicely labelled veg and non veg. We had so many compliments on the delicious flavours and variety from our guests, we will definitely be ordering again.

Came here for Monday curry club, service was so quick with super friendly staff. Food is amazing. Had meat starter and saag ghost, lamb super tender and over all meal so filling and definitely worth the money!

I had a great vegetarian curry here. The price was very good. Great and friendly service too. I would recommend this place.

Delicious food with good vegan options. On time but missing an item, contacted restaurant and they apologised then replaced speedily with free poppadoms and pickle tray.

Absolutely loved this place and will definitely return for their Monday Night Curry Club! The lamb curry was the best I’ve ever had and they were super accommodating to my weak spice tolerance without compromising on good flavor. Amazing food, amazing service, and very reasonable prices for the quality you get!

My 4th visit 2nd with the wife The foods always been first rate whatever we order. The staff are attentive and always try to help. The atmosphere depends if I'm with the curry mob or the wife. Its probably best to book if you are going in a group

Good tasting food delivered early and hot what’s not to like.

In my opinion, Cafe Indus is the best curry house in Sheffield. Omar and his team's service is second to none. Fantastic options for veggies and vegans, I highly recommend the Palak Paneer. Oh, and their Curry Club is well worth experiencing!

Waited over 2 hours for delivery after ordering. Repeatedly rang and told driver is 5 minutes away but it actually took 45 minutes. The food arrived hot so clearly wasn't out for delivery, would rather have been told it's late.

I've passed this place so many times and always fancied trying it. Finally got chance to visit tonight and I'm glad we did. Nice cosy restaurant. The curries were really nice and the portion sizes were decent. We were nicely full when we'd finished. If you like Indian food this place is definitely worth a try.

Delivery driver parked in front of house three blocks away and didn't bother finding the correct address. Even though my house is clearly marked. He called without even bothering to get out to find the right address.

Took 2hrs to arrive and when it did it was cold. No apology despite calling them 3 times, I was always told the driver had just left.

Food is fabulous here. Authentic Punjabi / Pakistani cuisine. Curries are quality. Monday night curry club is great value. Well worth a visit.

We ordered a takeout from here on a recommendation. I can see why. It was absolutely delicious! Furthermore we left a note for the chefs to make one of the curries extra mild for a family member who had had throat surgery - they followed to the letter and my dad enjoyed his first curry since being I’ll, said it was delicious and mild enough. When they're good they're great, but our recent order was over half an hour late, lukewarm and not as tasty as usual. Rang up to see what was taking so long, first staff member didn't know what was going on and second was pretty rude and dismissive.

Visited here with my close friend. Ordered lamb karahi, rice and poppadom. They were really delicious, but a little bit expensive. I would recommend here to anyone who is looking for halal Indian cuisine in Sheffield.

Cancelled on me an hour before the booking because they had a more profitable offer, despite booking 3 weeks prior. Ruined our work Christmas do. Shame really as I've eaten here before and the food is really wonderful. Won't be booking again.

Waited over 2.5 hours for a takeaway. Every time we called they’d say it would be coming soon, which wasn’t true, with no apologies. Food was ok but won’t order again due to the super long wait time!

Thanks for amazing authentic curry and lovely starter seekh kebab so fresh and delicious. Can say literally the best curry I've taste around this area can't really find anywhere was in two minds but can say I'm glad we made a decision to have food here. Nice staff and waiters and amazing food guys need to try this place if your looking for curries traditional apna style food ect.....beautiful

Didn't book and was able to get a walk in table for three of us on a Saturday night. The place did fill up after we sat down. It's a small place but great food and great atmosphere

The food is excellent and usually arrives hot, but we're regularly waiting over 1.5 hours for delivery lately. It's a Wednesday and I ordered tonight at 8:15, it's now 21:50 and I'm still waiting. I think this will be the last time we order, which is a shame. Edited: I figured that as it's also a restaurant and vey popular, that it wasn't fair to knock points off just because I had to wait longer than expected, as the food always arrived hot.

I have to say Cafe Indus is an absolute hidden gem within Sheffield! Went down for the much anticipated ‘Monday Curry Club’ with me and my work buddies. We’re talking a poppadom appetiser, a cute but tasty lil starter, a gorgeous curry with rice and a naan. Just when you think you’ve had your lot and you’re reasonably satisfied they bring out a dessert to comsolidate the meal. All for £13.99 yeah i said it £13.99, once more £13.99!! What more do you want on a Monday?! You’re getting a plethora of food items of the perfect quantity, it’s delicious and great value! Sign me up every week, in fact i am see you there soon!!

- Was food 50 minutes late - Extremely greasy - Saag Aloo was foul - Mixed kebab was questionable at best - Dips surprisingly taste of nothing + rice was good Came with completely cokes but didn’t rescue the meal or the lateness. Appreciate you are short staffed but come on.

Absolutely loved this place what you get food wise is an incredible experience of various foods Indian style the amount ordered that I had was so much I had to take the rest home for later. The lamb dish I had the meat was so tender the nan bread deliciously the massala chips, onion bargies out of this world and the fact that they do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own does not matter soft drinks are provided 🌹 I could not complain about anything in this place I will surely be returning back with friends great for a night out ❤️ nothing was to much via the staff who were polite and took time to describe each dish and what was in each dish.

Visited here with family members and kids recently. Having ordered our food just before 6pm , it wasn't until 7pm when the food actually arrived on our table. However when it did arrive the dishes were of high quality. I shared a Karahi Keema and Lamb on the bone curry with my Son. Both dishes were excellent with the lamb being tender and fresh. I noticed my daughters dish of Chicken Tikka Sizzler had Red food colouring on the Chicken, this was surprising considering the place prides itself on authenticity. Food colourings in this type of food are unnecessary and not good for health. However it did taste good. Overall a lovely meal. A bit slow service though.

The best curry in Sheffield at the minute by a country mile. Very friendly team in this small restaurant. Best to eat in as deliveries are sometimes a bit late. The veggie and vegan options are highly recommended. BYOB keeps things very affordable too.

Always order takeaway but will definitely eat in next time. The food is always amazing, it’s hard to get good south Asian food in Sheffield and this and Maveli are the only place I’ll eat from. Delicious.
