Visited this evening with a friend . First thing we noticed was how friendly and welcoming the staff were . Lovely ambience and nothing was too much bother . The food was outstanding. Not only recommend but will be back xx

First time here and certainly won't be the last... Booked for 3 but one of our party was running late due to having to stay longer at work, so the owner gave us complimentary poppadoms and a pickle tray to nibble on until our number 3 arrived. The owner then insisted on offering us complimentary starters of onion bhajis and fish pakoras whilst we waited for our mains.... Such a nice guy and I don't know if this was because our friend was late due to her NHS role as a nurse or whether he just loves treating his customers to extras... Either way what a lovely thing to do, on a busy Friday night I was expecting them to be frustrated that we were occupying a table for 3 hours+ but no... The whole team despite my friends lateness couldn't do enough to make us welcome and remove any awkwardness... Amazinggg... And yes!!! The main courses were fabulous too... I couldn't finish mine (generous portions) but they were more than happy to offer a 'doggy bag'... I honestly was baffled by their patience and kindness.... I know a lot of restaurants give you a table for 2 hrs max, especially on a busy Friday night... Please visit/book now and tell your friends to go too... You will be looked after 100%.

Wow! Maz, the owner, of this incredible restaurant along with his sister Naz and the rest of the team are genuinely caring about their customers, they can’t do enough to make you feel welcomed. The food they serve is definitely the best curry we have had in a long time. We’ve been here several times now and it just gets better with each visit. If you are after a great tasting meal, cooked to perfection with the softest, most succulent meats and fabulous tasting ingredients then this is the place to be, 110% recommend you give this restaurant a try, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed! 8 of us attended the restaurant for a family meal and honestly we were blown away by the service and attentiveness of all the staff, in particular the manager/owner who literally could not do enough for us. Some of our party were indecisive as to what to order and he made top quality recommendations and even provided tasters to ensure we were ordering correctly. Very good food and exceptional value for money. We travelled from Huddersfield and would return again due to the level of excellence throughout our experience. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Absolutely beautiful restaurant! Cannot recommend this place enough. We came for my Mum's birthday and she was treated with so much respect by all the staff. I told them before we came that it was her birthday and they kindly arranged a cake for her as well. The food was absolutely delicious. As customers that used to love going to Mangala I can confirm the taste of all the dishes we had did not disappoint. Excellent service and will definitely be going again soon!

Have been here a couple of times now and the service is very attentive something that I don’t see in a lot of busy restaurants and the food is exceptional. I’ve had the mix platter as a starter shared with my son has pretty much all of the starters in one place I love the lamb chops cooked to perfection. And for mains I’ve had the lamb on the bone curry very delicately spiced and easy on the palette highly recommended!

Visited this restaurant on Saturday for the first time (group of 4), after a work colleague recommended it and we were not disappointed. Staff were extremely welcoming, Maz was so knowledgeable of the dishes, he recommended the fish starter, which was incredible. Best Raita I've ever tasted and we all agreed the food was absolutely on another level. Will definitely return. Thank you for the exceptional service and food, and for making us feel so welcome.

I had a lamb handi, a meat curry with garlic naan. It was delicious, tender and full of flavour. The naan wasn’t over powered with the garlic, just perfect! If ever in the area you need to pop in.

The owner was very welcoming, the service was excellent and the food was top class. They were the best samosas I have had in 25 years in Sheffield. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We would happily recommend Manzil spice.

Second visit to this beautiful little gem , and I can not wait for the 3rd! We shared a mixture of starters including light crispy Bhajis, tender juicy lamb chops and a tastiest Seekh kebab to date. The food was all all cooked to order and the quality did not disappoint , 10/10 atmosphere , and the restaurant manager was very attentive , offering an excellent insight into the dishes and their spice levels. We had Desi chicken Karahi and lamb bhuna for main, these were both absolutely divine paired with a Garlic Naan. Completely faultless evening , can not recommend this place enough.

Mazher and his team were fantastic. The welcome, service and food were first class. Mazher took time to chat with us about his philosophy for his restaurant and his personality and customer care shines through. The food was delicious. The sharing mixed starter was to die for especially the masala fish !! Service was prompt and efficient but not rushed which was a pleasant change on a quite busy Saturday night. I've been to Manzil a few times since it's opened and the food has always been incredible, and the staff always lovely. But tonight, on Christmas Eve, they went above and beyond! Complementary poppadoms, a free dessert and drinks, as well as good food and warm welcome. Really appreciated the gestures and will make Manzil my go-to place for any special occasion :)

Best Indian restaurant in Sheffield. We got lucky as a nearby restaurant was fully booked so came here. Owner was very friendly and have amazing recommendations. Great food and drink can't recommend highly enough. Foot on point and innovative too.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Manzil Spice Indian restaurant with a party of four, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Went here to eat but was quite dissapointed. We ordered 1/2kg lamb handi, butter chicken, tandoori roti and naan. The food lacked flavour, the lamb handi was meant to be apna style, but did not have much taste at all, in fact I had to ask for extra salt and lemon due to it tasting bland. Butter chicken was not butter chicken at all, it had a tomato style gravy which was red looking (as you can see in the picture), and also did not have much wow factor. Butter chicken should be creamy / yellow. I was told when it first opened the food was great, however it seems now the prices have gone up, and quality has gone down. £3.50 for one tandoori roti is also very extortionate!! If you want somewhere authentic with Indian/Pakistani food, I would stick with Akbars in sheffield or rotherham. And also 'Apna Style restaurant' for a proper lamb curry. Sadly will not be going here again.

The majority of the main dishes are small and overpriced. We spent just over £40 each for a starter, a main, 2 rice and 2 naan and 2 beers. The rice was tasteless, the naan was good, my main of 500g of handi lamb was decent too, but my friends' fish dishes were tiny and not very flavourful. The server was very informal wearing jogging bottoms and some of the staff were miserable looking. No one asked how we found the food and no one said goodbye. It just all felt very average and very expensive. Not recommended.

Had a couple of poppadoms and pickle tray to start and as we always judge an Indian on its pickle tray we knew we wouldn’t be disappointed by the food. Had the lamb handi, vegetable Rice and keema naan. My wife had the fish masala, chana baji and a roti. All were fantastic, well spiced and plenty of leftovers for the next day!!! The breads were both massive. The welcome and service were top drawer... We’ve found a new alternative to where we’d normally go

Had a fantastic experience for a graduation party at Manzil Spice yesterday in their function room upstairs. An amazing place to book events! The service by the whole Team and the attention to detail to make the event so special was truly appreciated by all our guests, even allowing us to go the day before to set up the decor! Prior to the event and throughout the evening they made sure we received a five star service, checking that all guests were happy with their food, providing additional dishes when some of the kids fell in love with Malai Chicken Boti, and keeping on top of drinks and cutlery to make sure it was a luxurious experience. We are so grateful to Zak and his team for all the help. All of the guests couldn’t stop commenting on the atmosphere, the vibe and most importantly the food. Every single dish was consistent and to a very high standard. Will definitely be making this a regular place for events as well as family meals out.

Love this new Indian restaurant. It's only been running for eight weeks now but I can safely say it's my favourite curry house in Sheffield (and there's some decent competition around!). Food is delicious and the service is exceptional. The guys who run it are so nice. Highly recommend Manzil!

Best curry we’ve had in ages and the friendliest staff!

Mix grill was amazing had such a variety, lamb chops, chicken wings, chicken malia and fish, it was all freshly cooked. I think it’s the next best thing to Akbars actually even better. The Lamb krai and tarka daal was amazing, real authentic Pakistani/Indian dishes. Definitely going again. Amazing service by the 3 staff members - joyful and attentive. Thank you guys for a lovely evening, highly recommend for any occasion, you won’t be dissatisfied.

Decent but generally bog standard and more expensive than other places. We ordered six different dishes, no labels and all looked exactly the same; all tasted pretty much the same. Delivery was quick and the food was hot. We had high hopes for this place, because it is local; we won’t be using it again.

I don't know how these restaurants manage it but the bar just keeps getting higher and higher! We were a very large table and the staff were so unbelievably hard working and professional to make the evening as fantastic as it was. The attention to detail from the decor right through to the food was excellent. For such a large table we found every dish to be delicious and personally, can highly recommended the Chefs special. Two more things that we thought are worth mentioning was the Menu. So often, I find the menus in Indian restaurants to be overwhelmingly excessive! Manzils has clearly had a lot of time spent simplifying and de-cluttering theirs. This was the first time I've sat in a restaurant and could have ordered literally anything! Lastly the cleanliness of the place deserves a mention! Yes you would expect this from such a new restaurant but everything from the table to the toilets was pristine. Best of luck

Second time here, much more sober than first, everthing still super tasty, think curry as you hoped it would be, no sloopy sweet sauces, everything cooked fresh and anazing depth of flavour. Asim the wonder chef and Max the host with the most! Top curry!

More of a 4.5 stars then 4 stars. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good but coming from Birmingham it missed the mark just a lil bit. But loved the food options. It was a lil sad that there was no fish pakora but the curries were very excellent same with the samosas (I ordered the veg option). I will go back soon/ordering again. Glad to see more indian food places opening up in the eccy area
