Myself and a friend ordered 4 small plates. The quality of the food is amazing, very tasty and incredibly good value for money. I cannot recommend Bambukat highly enough. It was very quiet when we visited but this restaurant deserves to be packed. Spread the word.

Having frequented several times over the last 10 years Imrans has now become a firm family favourite in our house now it’s the weekly treat we all look forward to and never disappoints we’ve been trying different curries for the last two months and they have all been top quality cooked fresh with passion and put together by an amazing well oiled team! Help and advice on ordering pick up times ingredients taste (heat) etc are explained and appreciated! Keep up the great work best curry house in Huddersfield!

Service was good, however I was disappointed with the food. We ordered a TAWA and with in 5 minutes it was served which we were very surprised. Starters were not fresh at all, very chewy and no taste at all. Donner was burned and saturated in oil. Curry was spicy but tasted nice.

We arrived at the booked time and were seated together on a table for six. So far so good. The waiter took his time to ask us whether we wanted poppadoms or not even though this was a Tuesday evening and the restarant was not particularly busy. He took our food order at the sane time. The menu was interesting with quite a few meals we had not heard of before (we go for a curry maybe every 6 weeks usually to different curry houses around Huddersfield). The waiter was businesslike and not particularly welcoming or interactive. The meal was nice apart from the having to wait quite a while between each course. At the end of the meal came the killer blow. £126. For 6 of us that's a pretty good price. We were 'well pleased' and got our payment cards out, deciding on a sum of £23 each in order to leave a decent tip, after all the meal was good. The water brought the card machine over and then declared 'only 3 cards per table'. When I had booked this meal the week before, I was told the restaurant would accept cash or card. This was a new rule that completely stumped us. We were amazed. The surly waiter simply stared at us repeating the statement. 'Management rules '. We scraped together £69 in cash and 3 of us had to use cards. The machine then wouldn't accept their payments unless they stood in a particular spot at the back of the restaurant. The experience was frustrating and shattered the relaxed atmosphere of our 'get together'. We will not return.
