Haveli is our local village restaurant. We eat here regularly and love the food and the service. But never left a review. All the dishes we've tried are excellent.

Just had to visit this place again. We found it while on holiday last year and just had to visit again. Top quality food and very friendly and accommodating. The staff are so friendly and remembered us from our visit a year ago. The food is amazing and there is so much choice. We highly recommend this Indian. You won’t find better.

My friend and I popped in for a curry tonight and the curries we had were both delicious. It's been a while since we were last in but we won't leave it so long until the next time. Very friendly attentive staff.

I'm a self-confessed Curry Monster, and I can tell you; Haveli is absolutely fantastic. Food quality, portion sizes represent outstanding value for money. Service is second-to-none, these guys are just fantastic. Pleasantly surprised is an understatement, this is one of the best curry houses I've visited in the UK. (They can do hot dishes that also taste great if you're into hardcore heat)

So lucky to have this amazing restaurant on our doorstep, the food is always amazing and the customer service the best.

Tasty authentic Indian food ; this is a small restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. I would reccommend giving this place a try.

Can't fault the food...it was lovely. We got a curry each one portion or chips and a portion of pilau rice and a family garlic naan and we had some to take home too. Only down side was it was 'cash only' when we went and typically the co-op nextdoors cash machine was 'out of order' and they didn't have enough cash to do cash back 🤦🏼‍♀️ Luckily Haveli do do bank transfers so we could pay that way...was just abit of a farce setting it up on the spot in the middle of the restaurant. But other than that the staff were nice and polite n most importantly the food was yummy n good portion sizes!!

Great choice of curries and not just the usual classics. The veggie side dishes were great and breads very fresh.

Visited on Friday evening with my husband as we were staying in the area,we had both starters mains and side dishes and we throughly enjoyed them all,service and price excellent too we will be back next time we are in the area

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they really are a credit to the business. Working for YWS and staying in Huddersfield we were looking to go out for a curry. Not having stayed away in Huddersfield for quite a while we googled top 10 indian restaurants and tripadvisor came up with a list. Haveli was near the top of the list and looked to be a smart restaurant at a reasonable price with good reviews. Parking for our van is often a problem while we work away but the restaurant had ample parking next to it. Staff were very friendly and the place was busy for a Tuesday night with a steady stream of customers both dining in and arriving for takeaways many of whom were regulars. The restaurant was family friendly with parents and their children well looked after by the staff. Food was excellent with a fantastic choice on the menu cooked to perfection and prices were very good giving value for money. We will definitely be revisiting next time we are in Huddersfield.

Went with 2 friends for dinner on a Saturday night. The food was delicious with an excellent, large choice of dishes with helpful descriptions on the menu. Helpful staff and a great atmosphere. Only slight strange thing is they didn’t have paying by card but there is a cash machine next door. Handy very close by parking too.

A lovely evening from start to finish. Gracious welcome and served quickly, poppadoms were fresh and a good pickle tray. We had a curry each both of which were excellent, no hurry and we were made very welcome. We will be back!

I’ve been coming here since it opened, enjoying eating in and taking away. Every time the food and service is fantastic. I’ve never left a review before but after my last visit, I felt I really needed to given the fantastic service I received! I telephone ordered in advanced, as normal, to collect half an hour later. Came to collect the order, with a beer whilst waiting for the order to be ready. To my surprise I was told they no longer accepted card, unfortunately I didn’t have cash or card on me. The gentleman taking payment said it was fine to take the food and bring the money as soon as I could. Brilliant!

My partner and I recently visited Haveli. The food was exceptional. The vegetable sharing platter starter was delicious as were our mains. The staff there couldn't do enough for us and were friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back. I feel lucky to have this restaurant in the village I live in.

A lovely place to eat with great prices. The staff can’t be helpful enough and even put some extra mint sauce in when we took our leftovers home. A nice selection of drinks and speciality curries.

I've edited this review as have since found out they were short staffed during our visit hence the long wait for our food.

After all the amazing reviews we thought we'd give Haveli a go and sadly we were very disappointed with the quality and the taste of the food. The first thing we noticed was the insane amount of oil in one of the curries (Haveli Spice Special). So much so, we had to drain some of the oil off into the sink. It was also very bland in taste, even before I'd drained some of the oil off. We ordered some chips too and they were limp and soggy. We may have just caught them on a bad night as the reviews are so good, but we're unlikely to ever try the takeaway curries there again. We've always been to Destination & Monsoon in Slaithwaite but thought we'd try somewhere a little closer who also deliver and we regretted our decision within a few minutes of starting to eat. We might give the restaurant a go as the experience may well be better but, all in all, it was disappointing.

Never disappointed, we LOVE Haveli and the staff. Food always spot on. Always book a table, as they are popular with locals and regulars, and it does get busy. Seating up and downstairs. Parking next door or on the road. Enjoy and ask if you need anything diet wise, they are very helpful.

Ordered a chicken tikka masala with a garlic nan with rice and chips thinking you can’t go wrong ! This was absolutely disgusting garlic nan undercooked , hardly any chicken in what can only be described as the thickest sweetest almond/coconut sauce , it was like a grit texture made us gag it was so sweet !
