Regular visitors to Destination & lucky enough to get a table during their 5th birthday celebration Thali week. Superb as always. Fabulous food & service. Thank you Sam, family & team. Highly recommend!!!

We were back at Destination last night for the Thali menu and it was extremely tasty! We have been a few times and the food is always amazing and the presentation perfect. The friendly team always deliver and Sam the chef came out to check everyone was enjoying his delicious food. It made my husbands night when the team sang happy birthday to me and presented me with a birthday cheesecake ☺️. Another great evening at Destination and we will definetly be back. Thank you.

After 3 previous visits with friends I finally took Mrs F to destination for her birthday and it landed over the 5 year Anniversary Thalia week. I firstly want to praise the chef for his humble and amazing attitude to customers on every visit I have made, second the front of house and serving staff have always adapted and made me feel welcome, and then finally there’s the food. I’ve given it 5 stars so it really doesn’t need an explanation. I look forward to coming back again and again. Well done team Destination

We were lucky enough to get a table for their Thali night, what an amazing feast, the food is amazing what a variety of wonderful flavours.

This spot is one of the best curry houses I have ever been to attention to detail Food service hospitality, 2nd to none From entering the building, the warm welcoming of the staff cannot do enough for you everything is above and beyond. Your expectations. To top it you get a personal touch from the chef himself at the end of your meal, explaining spices culture and his creation of you coming to his restaurant

Absolutely stunning food and impeccable service as always. Had the vegetarian thali served as part of the restaurant's birthday celebrations. All three of our party were blown away by all of the dishes and would love this to become an option on the regular menu. Can't wait for my next visit.

This is the third time I’ve reviewed Destination. My first review was 5 years ago when I was initially wowed by the quality of the food. I’ve been a regular customer (but not regular enough) over the years, and it’s clear that Sam, Abira & the team have taken the time to perfect the whole dining experience. We were welcomed within 15 seconds of walking through the door, and service quality was friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of food matches only the best that Indian cuisine has to offer. Congrats to all who work at Destination, and may it continue to provide Slawit with its tasty goodness!

Another fabulous night!! Having been to Destination many times, we were excited to try the Thali Feast, only on for a short time to celebrate their 5th Birthday! We were a party of 6 and we all had it, two variations, as expected it was not only looked beautiful, it was a veritable taste extravaganza! Perfect portions and perfectly presented! 10/10 👌🏻 It was a Saturday night and very busy, but the team was on their game, service was impeccable and super friendly (as always!) and lovely lively atmosphere. Absolutely outstanding! We have been visiting Destination for the last 5 years…. The Thali we had this evening was a pure delight! Not one single complaint from the minute we arrived. Excellent service to a large group, delightful food… credit to the chef and his team but also to the front of house! Waitresses were very attentive, nothing was too much to ask and all done with a smile! Perfect way to celebrate our friend’s birthday. Also, very accommodating with children - our little one recommends the butter chicken 🤍

I can't recommend Destination enough! We went tonight for their special Thali Feast meal and the food was incredible! Not only did it look beautiful but every dish was so delicious and it was so lovely to try a selection of different dishes. They were fantastic with catering for our different dietary requirements including gluten free! The staff are so friendly and the service is exceptional! We will definitely be returning!

Went there for their special Thali evening. The service was excellent. We each had specified issues with Gluten, vegetarian etc but they catered very well. The actual food was of an exceptional quality and each of the individual dishes in the Thali was very tasty. This is very good and totally recommend.

Thali event for the 5th birthday 🎁 Wow So I discovered destination in January and have since been 6 times the food is that good . Every time is a dining experience I never want to end up. The staff the ambience the owner the food all combined make this place special . If you havnt been get it booked and we were told tonight that the thali is going to be every three months a huge smorgasbord of divine Indian food cooked freshly to order and to finish the delectable carrot pudding which is to die for . What an amazing find this is, we came here on Bank Holiday as a walk in and a table was instantly found for us. The Tikka Masala was absolutely delicious (so creamy), we all loved it. The chef coming out to ask if we enjoyed our meal was a nice touch too. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve visited.

Recently went to Destination for a pre-wedding celebration with 20 guests. Had a vegetarian taster menu which included starters, 4 curries, rice, 2 types of bread plus more (see photo). The pre-meal meeting, food and service on the day were all excellent. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food (even the meat eaters). Atmosphere was relaxed. The staff were very attentive. Wow!! My 1st time in the restaurant i did hear good things must was not expecting mouth watering meals and a very reasonable price. The good was divine and you can see the love and care from the owners and chef that runs the kitchen. Excellent food as always, my chicken and spinach curry was packed with tender chicken, absolutely delicious. Service was exceptional.

1st visit and impressed. 1st class service. The passion and desire for what they do runs right through all staff from floor staff to the chefs. Every bite of food is infused with flavour. Amazing first visit! We had family visit us from Antwerp, Belgium and they asked me to book a surprise meal for my wife as she didn't know they were here in UK. Easy to book table via Instagram as don't use Facebook anymore. Friendly and welcoming staff on arrival. The food was superb. We all tried each others dishes as wanted to taste everything. I ordered the legendary Railway Lamb! My wife got the Chicken Tikka. Both full of fresh flavours. The chef popped over to say hi which was a nice touch. We'll definitely be back soon as want to try the signature Biriyani!

Best Curry house in Huddersfield. The food was heavenly, the atmosphere was classy and sophisticated yet family friendly. Service was lovely and kind. I honestly cannot express how DIVINE this restaurant was. Top notch. Out of 10 I would give it a solid 9.5 - the .5 is because the tables were small and we had a lot of food and drink to fit on 😂

Been here several times. Food absolutely delicious, very different from the normal "BIR" style curry. Not oily and greasy, "proper" food which is indulgent and rich. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options which is really appreciated.

Destination has to be the finest Indian restaurant that we have ever dined at, this was our first ever visit and first impressions count, the restaurant is very tastefully decorated and you receive a warm welcome from the waiting staff. The quality of the food is on another level, beautiful starters and main courses, the ingredients they use are stunning and cooked to perfection, we all had a lovely evening and without doubt is the best Indian food and restaurant we have been to and a great addition to our great village of Slaithwaite.

Absolutely buzzing! We had booked somewhere else for valentines night. Which turned out to be all in darkness when we arrived?! So I rang Destination and they got us in immediately! Yes the prices are slightly higher but SO worth it! The food is amazing here. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Can't do enough for you! Even got 2 valentines gifts too. A rose and a little favour with heart shaped chocolates in. Lovely!!

Absolutely stunning food and such lovely staff.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to dine in with family and friends. Besides their warm welcome and absolutely delitious foods environment was amazing too. We went on a busy Wednesday evening around 7pm and got our table straightaway. Food was really nice, my kids and wife liked very much, because they found something different here which is really uncommon. Service was quick as well. Will be coming back soon. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.

The food truly is out of this world! Flavours are incredible! Visited tonight for the first time with my husband and it certainly won't be our last. We have been looking for a new Indian restaurant to frequent for some time and now we've found it :) You won't be disappointed.

A 5-star experience all round. Went with a group of 15 walking friends for a post-Christmas get together. The staff were welcoming and helpful, great atmosphere, not too noisy, so you could have a good conversation with ease. The food, wow, wow, wow! Excellently presented, cooked to perfection and so tasty too. I couldn't fault the overall experience. I will definitely be returning 😃
