The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Midlands

It was a good night and the food was great but the servers were recording us a lot for Facebook and it made it feel a bit uncomfortable. But they were nice :/

We hired Veerus as our wedding caterers. We went for a tasting and it was so good, the flavours were all there. Fast forward to the wedding day the canapés and the evening food was spot on HOWEVER the main food for the sit down meal was a huge let down. It was not what we tried at the food tasting, the rice was watery, the roti was burnt! The curry had no flavour and the sauce of it was so watery! the dhal was not buttery like when we had tried it and to top it off they used the most ridiculous serving plates ( you literally couldn’t fit anything in them) we had to ask for more food to be put in the bowls as there wasn’t enough to go around the table. Overall we were very disappointed especially as the sit down meal was not what we expected. We tried to raise with to Shevy ( the owner) but he wasn’t having none of it, and we have chased and chased and yet had no response! I wouldn’t recommend Veerus as wedding caterers ,so disappointing and they even turned up late on the wedding day!

My go to curry hours. Sitting in or takeaway is always 10/10 but I do prefer sitting in as the setting is so pretty. The Staff can’t do enough for you and the food is excellent! Best curry in Birmingham

We were a large group celebrating a family birthday and the service could not have been better. So friendly and attentive and even took on babysitting duties! Food was fantastic as always. Highly recommend the chicken tikka dhansak.

I have been a few times to this restaurant as my friend is a veggie. I think u will enjoy it even if u r not a veggie. My only moan is the service charge. I will quite happily give a tip but not 10 per cent. It is stated on the menu. But it is on the back not where u normally look. I go to many restaurants and not many do this. Apart from that I think it is a great place to go

We passed by this place before but weren't impressed by how it looked outside. However, we heard great things about the food, so the three of us decided to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic, the service was great; the staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was also really nice. We'll definitely come back to this awesome restaurant.

Hi, Let me start by saying that I'm not usually the kind of person to write reviews but this time I feel I had to. Last Saturday, my wife ordered a curry and as I don't eat curry, she ordered me 2 cheese nans and chips. The food was delivered but minus the 2 cheese nans. My wife phoned the restaurant to tell them, they said they would get them delivered in 20 mins. 15 mins later, the restaurant called back to tell my wife they had cancelled my 2 nans because there was no driver available. They told us that next time we order it will be free. Ok I was missing my dinner but fine. Last night my wife called to order the same and was told aggressively that we are not getting anything free because they are running a business, my wife was astounded and upset so she put the phone down. Will not be using there restaurant again and I suggest that if you want good customer service then don't go there.

Very great would recommend for people who have kids to buy a chicken tikka starter which comes on a plate and j2Os are amazing and feels like I could go there everyday but can't as I have to go back to school on Tuesday but try the spinney better than anything else and saves you having to stand in a boiling hot kitchen cooking

Loved the atmosphere in this little village pub so relaxing .Great beer and food to just the job for a nice evening out before travelling next day

Best takeaway for miles. The food is delicious and portions generous. Having been away for.a while and tried others, it was so nice to have a delicious takeaway last week.

Another wonderful meal, without a doubt the best restaurant of this type in the area. Have been several times and always the same great standard unlike a lot of places where the food isn’t consistent.

Having driven past this restaurant for years we decided to give it a go, and we were not disappointed. The food was very nice and great choice of menu although with only option to purchase drinks it was a little pricey. The dishes were all good and the starters were the 'gem' with everyone enjoying a delicious starter. We will definitely return to this restaurant for special occasions but not for a 'cheap curry' with friends. The food is worth that little bit extra on the bill but not on a regular basis.

We ordered a delivery for breakfast. Parethas and paneer samosas. We were very impressed with the way the food was packed. It arrived in a sealed box and all of the individual items were also labelled. That said all the food was very authentic and not greasy at all. We look forward to trying their other dishes too.

What a fantastic little gem we found this evening in Bearwood. Myself and my husband popped in for a meal out and it did not disappoint. From the minute we stood inside the door we were given a warm welcome. The restaurant was spotless .We were given a table and was given a few minutes to settle in,followed by serving us drinks and presenting us with the menus. We were not rushed and when asked about certain dishes the waiters were able to explain. I asked the waiter to get the chef to surprise me with a main dish.The food came to the table very well presented.we were given time between courses. During our time there the restaurant filled up with a mixed range of customers,some couple,families and friends which gave the restaurant a lovely atmosphere between customers and staff. I loved that the plates were nice and warm before our dishes were served. Food had a fab taste to it and best of all it was very reasonable priced. Iwould highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return soon.
