Barsana Pure Veg and Vegan Restaurant in Birmingham

Vine aquí como un thali. Desafortunadamente tuve una espera muy larga antes de que me sirvieran con comida. Dos personas con las que estuve tuvieron entrantes y luego después de una larga espera sus platos principales y tiempo después llegó mi thali. El pakora anunciado era un pequeño pedazo de bharji de cebolla demasiado cocido que estaba tirado en la bandeja. La comida era agradable, aunque Daal era salado. No es una experiencia feliz, pero está bien

Uno de los mejores restaurantes indios en los que he estado! Como vegetariano, es agradable tener un restaurante indio donde todo en el menú es algo que se puede comer. Los platos eran increíbles, especialmente el shashlik de soja, que era suculento y sabroso. Aunque el interior es ligeramente más pequeño en comparación con otros restaurantes, lo compensan con la increíble comida que sirven. El personal es encantador y servicial, y sin duda vamos a volver!

Bonito establecimiento pintoresco que tuvimos la suerte de atender para veganos. No nos decepcionó que disfrutamos de todo lo que pedimos desde las bebidas hasta el entrante y la red. Nos fuimos muy lleno y felizmente satisfecho. Gracias por recibirnos y ser servicial, sin duda volveríamos a Birmingham solo para visitarte de nuevo.

Visitamos el sábado 2 de noviembre de 2024 y el sábado anterior. El restaurante era cálido y acogedor y los anfitriones especialmente así. La comida era muy buena y se aseguraron de que el Tarka daal de mi novia y sus acompañamientos fueran sin cebolla y ajo. También cócteles encantadores y una gran experiencia. Gracias.

He ido un par de veces a este restaurante ya que mi amigo es vegetariano. Creo que lo disfrutarás aunque no seas vegetariano. Mi único gemido es el cargo por servicio. Con mucho gusto daré una propina, pero no un 10%. Se indica en el menú. Pero está en la parte de atrás no donde normalmente miras. Voy a muchos restaurantes y no muchos hacen esto. Buena comida y a un precio razonable. El masala de hongos estaba delicioso. Servicio eficiente. No soy vegetariano, pero sin duda recomendaría!

Fui con amigos el viernes por la noche, puedo recomendar este restaurante. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, como vegetariano es una delicia tener tanta elección! El servicio fue excelente y precios muy razonables. No puedo esperar a volver otra vez.

All my family are veggies but I like my meat, but because of mothers day I thought let's give it a go, partly thinking it's not going to be Wow. But credit given where its due. All the food was delicious with flavours that has me going to return & recommend this place. I had the butter paneer, my sis had the soya vegi biriyani & I cannot remember the rest. Decor and service were nice. If you give this place a score lower than 4, then you must be a competitor or your taste buds have worn out 😂

Amazing meal! Definitely one of our top restaurants in Birmingham. So many excellent options for vegetarians/vegans but it is also a great place for my mom who is extremely picky with her food but she was so pleasantly surprised it has now took her top place for restaurants she loves.

Really great selection for vegans and clearly labelled. The naan was soo good, as were the soy curries. Only negative was plastic straws.

Found this place after a google search of vegan food in Harborne. Great to have a place that is vegetarian and vegan, so loads of choice. I had the aubergine fritters to start and they were delicious. I love the choice and that there are different options on the menu. Great to have somewhere that offers a paneer biryani too. Will definitely go again.

The food was so delicious! Had the masala poppadom to start which was yummy and then an amazing paneer curry. Everything very fresh and came quickly. Service was warm, would definitely go back if I'm ever in Birmingham again

Barsana is a unique experience - Great vegetarian food all Indian in origin - very authentic flavours from the veggie popadoms and tasty chutneys to a variety of aromatic dishes to suit all - even non veggies like myself were satisfied. The service is wonderful gentle and calm and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. We will return. It deserves to thrive.

For vegetarians and vegans who enjoy indian food this place is a must to visit. There is so much choice on the menu, we will be returning to try other dishes. Can honestly say it was the best curry ive ever had.

It was our first time visit after reading reviews. Food was very tasty and I would highly recommend it. Garlic naan was very soft and crispy, ordered 3 curries all of them were very yummy. I would definitely visit once again. Thank you for the delicious food Barsana team.

Visited Barsana a few weeks ago as the reviews & menu stated they serve dosa. Drove all the way to learn they no longer serve dosa. Thought I'd try it again as I was passing by today. I wanted to order the sev Puri with masala tea. After waiting, I was informed by the waitress that they don't take orders less than £15 whereas mine was £10. This policy is very strange as I've never experienced something like this before. It was 7:30pm on a Sunday and they only had 1 table occupied. A very disappointing experience, I would not recommend Barsana at all based on my 2 very poor experiences. Also had paid for parking which was a waste.

Really poor quality food. Spoilt Friday evening for my family. Food wasn't cooked properly. Lacked flavour.
