Delicious The Finest lndian Cuisine in Walsall

Hi, Let me start by saying that I'm not usually the kind of person to write reviews but this time I feel I had to. Last Saturday, my wife ordered a curry and as I don't eat curry, she ordered me 2 cheese nans and chips. The food was delivered but minus the 2 cheese nans. My wife phoned the restaurant to tell them, they said they would get them delivered in 20 mins. 15 mins later, the restaurant called back to tell my wife they had cancelled my 2 nans because there was no driver available. They told us that next time we order it will be free. Ok I was missing my dinner but fine. Last night my wife called to order the same and was told aggressively that we are not getting anything free because they are running a business, my wife was astounded and upset so she put the phone down. Will not be using there restaurant again and I suggest that if you want good customer service then don't go there.

We have always had good service off Delicious Bloxwich before, eaten in a few times after being in Wetherspoons Bloxwich Showman, having a meal afterwards. 4 months ago, started ordering off them for a delivery, living less than 2 miles away. Excellent to start, even called them up afterwards to congratulate them for such a amazing, tasty meal, being a Dhansak MADRAS, chips & nan bread. Week by week, we ordered off them, slowly getting less & less tasty, but always been earlier than the time delivery was expected. This week, 40minutes they said, 1½ hours it came, wasn't madras, chips were nearly cold, poppadoms were soggy, can always tell by poppadoms, quick delivery, crispy, long delivery, soggy! Won't be ordering off these again, time for a new takeaway/restaurant for delivery.

Our Saturday night ritual was Delicious takeaway and a few beers, but a few months ago we had a couple of disappointing orders. Then summer came and with one thing and another we were not home at weekends.. Well yesterday we were, and we ordered and I'm delighted to say Delicious are back!! The two dishes we had were perfect, tasty and bursting with flavours. Mine in particular ( South Indian garlic chili chicken) spicy but not painfully hot. Special mention to the naan, a giant buttery pillow of fluffy goodness. Thank you uncle.

Great eat-in curry here this evening. It was quiet in the restaurant but it’s smart and clean. The service from Islam was great, he was relaxed, attentive and witty. We just had poppadoms and mains/sides but the food was hot, fresh and tasty. BYO alcohol if you choose to, and a good selection of soft drinks. A really good find and we look forward to going back. Thanks Islam and team for a lovely evening.

The food here does not fail to delight. For the best experience, eating in is recommended to enjoy the excellent meals on offer here. I travel frequently for business and visit restaurants in many countries, including India but always look forward to coming back to this hidden gem. Good service and easy parking make for a relaxing evening.

We use to use delicious on a regular basis we have always loved it. The food is amazing and the staff are lovely unfortunately the last few times we had been the portion sizes have been massively reduced. We were still hungry when we left. The food standard was still amazing it’s a shame they reduced their portions as we have had to start eating elsewhere.

The best Indian I have ever had without a doubt. The service is impeccable and can only be topped by the incredible food. I could not recommend this restaurant enough!

My wife and I travel an hour to come to this restaurant. The hospitality is wonderful and the food is incredible. We have tried many others but this one wins every time for us. Go and try it, the food speaks for its self!

What an amazing old school curry house, food as in the name delicious a must try. Meal was unbelievable for the cost, Chef is a credit to this place a definite must try.

All the food reflects the name, delicious brilliant, the best in the area 👏 the staff are friendly and helpful.

First venture out after restrictions were lifted, had a lovely meal, the tandoori mix starter was fab, followed by chicken tikka masala and lamb passanda . Service was great, and you are welcome to bring your own booze as its not licenced. We were the only diners so hopefully things will soon start getting back to normal. We will definitely dine here again.

We've been using this restaurant for years. We wouldn't go anywhere else. The food is absolutely delicious and always fresh. They have a 5-star food hygiene rating. I have recommended this place to many friends and family and will continue to do so! Superb!!!!

Another great meal from delicious. Takeaway on the occassion, everything was great, cannot fault. My only suggestion to consider would be to introduce a paneer option for curries 👍

You wont be spoilt for choice for a good indian in the walsall area and ive probably tried most of them but delicious is certainly up there in respects to quality, hospitality and value. Would highly reccommend

Visited on Wednesday 27th August with a family of 7. Food was amazing service spot on will defenetly be coming back soon

My husband and I dined at this local restaurant this evening. The owner was very welcoming and hospitable. He allowed us to take our own drinks in and use our 241 voucher. Food was really nice, lovely presentation, would definitely go back.

16 of us visited for a works Christmas meal, the food was incredible and the service was good. I had chicken garlic and saag balti which was bloody lovely. Bring your own beer is always a winner as well. Reasonably priced.

Well finally come the restaurant with my mate and well what can I say wow the food was excellent for the starters we had paneer which I didn't like before but when i had it here it was amazing and for main I had Rogan Josh and it was just to die for definitely come back and thanks for a fantastic service

This is a great little restaurant situated on the high street in bloxwich.It is clean and friendly with good service and terrific food. Everything we had was freshly cooked and the flavours were incredible. Will definitely be returning, and the bonus is that you can take your own drinks.Highly recommended.

Tried the new sizzling balti dishes absolutely delicious best curry we've had for a long time. Highly recommend a visit we've never been disappointed great service and very clean.

On the 2nd of August we Ordered food for delivery, I was told 1 hour waiting time. The staff member took my phone number my order and my address.. 1hour 15 mins later we call in to Agee what the delay is. I’m told there is a driver issue but the food isn’t ready but will be delivered in 15 mins. I accept this as I know driver can let businesss down. After 1h45 mins our guests have to leave so we call them up and explain. They agree to send half the order as requested. I call again after 2 hours and they put the phone down on me. I go elsewhere collect food and return home 3 hours after my original order. The delivery driver shows up with a bag of food and I send him away with his food. I get a txt appolagy promising half price food next time I order. Guess what it’s refused when I return. I think I will use a more reputable business next time.

first meal very good ...speedy delivery...nice staff.. but on second delivery food was not as good as first ..

I thought I would try this Indian takeaway out as a change from abduls (my usual Indian takeaway restaurant). Ordering process was simple and easy that's where the good points end. I requested my food to arrive at 645pm, it turned up at 720pm.

Have been here many times the food is amazing as well as the staff and the service wouldn't use any one else would highly recommend

Was told 45 minutes for a delivery, i phoned up at 1 hour just to ask they said its on his way. I live 10 minutes away it took them a further 40 mins to arrive (clearly lied to) if I knew it wasnt on way like he said i would of cancelled. When it arrived I was charged more than i usually pay and didn't receive no dips, no salad. None of the sides. Sadly I used to use these quite abit...never again.

The restaurant is easy to find in a central location on the high street, accessible by public transport.

1st time ordering from here and I must say it was absolutely outstanding! Food arrived on time, steaming hot! Had chicken tikka starter and chicken tikka masala, top quality food. Will defiantly going again!

Me and husband visited restaurant we had a starter to share whilst deciding what curry we wanted and omg starter was amazing it was stuffed pepper with mince meat x Hub had sea bass curry and he said it was very good I had clay pot curry very hot the staff there were more than helpful I will def be going again. Price was good too

Lovely little restaurant, the food is always very tasty staff are friendly, only down side is the service is a little slow.

We regularly have take aways we don't have to wait long for delivery, everything is loverly and fresh. The curries are nice full of flavour, would like to try and eat in for a change in the future, the staff are friendly

Not been here before, it had been recommended but you do tend to stick to your favourites. Anyway our 'normal haunt' had let us down this night and had double booked so we took a ride over to try 'delicious'.

We have been going to Delicious weekly for the past six months wouldn't go anywhere else the food is absolutely delicious very clean and the staff are excellent very friendly. We've also gone with family and friends and they all loved the food and atmosphere 5 star

Ordered for 6 friends to celebrate for one of my friends birthday .delivery came bang on and the delivery man was very polite . Food was lovely and tasty .my friends loved it and told me to give them the address of the restaurant so they can eat in.deffinitly recommend this restraunt .will order again . Thanks

Ordered a takeaway after long day at work expecting a good meal, unfortunately it wasn't as expected. The order taker could not speak English well so this was the initial difficulty, he could not understand what I wanted. The order came with one wrong dish, masala was rather bland and only luke warm. Expected a better meal but a total disappointment, will not be returning.

Visited Delicious in the week as this is a favourite Restaurant of ours as the food is always excellent, the ambience is always spot on and the staff are always friendly and attentive. I usually end up studying the whole menu and then choose my favourite - which is Vegetable Rogan Josh with some Pilau Rice and a side of Bombay Potatoes.

Eat here often best Indian food there is highly recommended Chicken Madras is very tasty. Take your own drinks as well.

Visited recently mid week and took advantage of their special offer, 4 courses for £9.95. Although you cannot order everything on their menu, the options you do have should leave everyone with something they could choose. Price includes a coffee at the end of the meal so a nice way to finish. there were 4 of us and we all agreed that the food provided was excellent quality and well cooked. A bargain at this price. You are able to bring along your own alchohol too so a midweek meal need not break the bank. Staff were very attentive which added another plus to a very agreeable evening out. Would recommend.

Wow lovely restraunt and delicious food .Came here with my boyfriend yesterday and we ate Karahi mix kebab, delicious special and mix birani , nan bread.which I had and boyfriend had lamb chop, sweet chilly chicken and a tikka balti chips, nana bread ,so lovely the flavour the spice just there. Would definitly recommend . Our first choice. Thankyou for the delicious food.

Had a take away from here tonight and it was so so good! So authentic and so good to see spices in the dishes! Not like takeaways these days that seem to be defrosted or 'mush'. Amazing! Will definitely be going here again!

Have dined here twice since it opened and on both times the food was excellent , the flavours are perfect , the food not only looks appetising it tastes delicious too, I would say this is one of the best Indian meals I have had in the area and our friends were also very impressed with both the food and service, meals are cooked fresh to order and well worth waiting for, the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and it is getting busier so locals must be realising what a great new restaurant we have on Bloxwich high street
