Went there Easter Sunday the buffet was very nice had not been there for a while great selection of Asian cuisine very tasty indeed

Have used Golden Moments for at least the last 10 years! Fabulous food every single time.. would not use any other Indian restaurant or takeaway!

Had a birthday / retirement party. My guests know their Indian food and we ordered a variety of dishes. Everything on our plates was first class. I love Methi gosht and this one scored a ten. The staff are superb. A restaurant that has always had a good reputation in this town and certainly standards are still high. First class dining experience Feb 29. Had a late birthday celebration tonight. Staff wonderful, attentive. Food superb as ever. The place is a gem in our town

It's not the Golden Moments i remember, no where near as good as few yrs ago

Perfect. Went in midweek so pretty quiet, Every food portion was plentiful. Staff were most welcoming and polite. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will most certainly go there again.

We love Golden Moments! The food is amazing, always cooked perfectly and the service is quick and friendly. There are soft drinks and alcoholic drinks available, including cocktails. The range of dishes is good and includes a good number of vegetarian options. We ordered garlic chilli King prawn, sag aloo, masala chips, paneer Tika masala, plain naan and rice. For dessert we had a Maltesa ice cream and pistachio kulfi. All of the food was lovely and service was faultless. The bill was just under £70, but we did also have two drinks each - Kingfisher and Cobra. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Waiters were really nice and couldn't help you enough. Great service and really tasty food. The keema nann was the best I've had.

Had a take away tonight not the normal standard,meat was very dry ,had takeaway’s and ate in as well but not again

I really really wanted to find fault with Golden Moments... But I can't. From entering to find a moderately busy restaurant (on a week night, early) there was a buffet in but they were more than happy to offer the a la carte menu too. Staff are very pleasant and can offer all sorts of advice if you're a novice. Drinks are fairly priced too, which complements the food. Very good menu. Something for everyone. This is a regular haunt for us when in Walsall. Make it yours.

When we arrived we were the first and were worried this meant the restaurant was perhaps below standard. But it soon filled up. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and patient. Not your usual curry house: much better, and many dishes I’d not encountered before. Good 4*

Food is always delicious but the containers are only half full, I called to complain last week and they said that’s what the portion sizes are but they have never been like it before. We ordered 2 curry’s today and the madras is half full the chicken tikka portion is ok. I have taken pics that I will post

We ordered a meal from Golden moments on Good Friday after driving down from Rossendale to visit our friend. The 3 meals arrived pipping hot and earlier than the time that we was given. All 3 meals were absolutely out of this world.... so flavoursome and delicious... the pieces of chicken were huge! I asked for mine to be made slightly differently to the menu description, and the meal I received was the best curry I have ever tasted.... I rang the restaurant up when we had eaten our meals to say how amazing the food was... and that it was well worth the 2 hour drive down, infact we will be making a return journey soon as it was so good...

Regularly visit Golden Moments when I come back to Walsall. The food is usually good and consistent but this time I thought the food and service was exceptional. The staff were welcoming and we ordered a starter to share - Chicken Puri which they split for us and arrived on two separate plates. The Puri was excellent, well cooked and well presented. I order a Chicken Bhuna with chilli and lemon fried rice - both were excellent, the rice is really worth ordering. This was accompanied by a well cooked, warm, pillowy naan. All round excellent service and meal.

This restaurant delivers consistently great food and service at a reasonable price that ensures repeat customers return time and time again while gaining new customers all the time. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays it offers a buffet that changes every week that is incredible value for money and provides top quality food. Golden Moments saved our evening following a disappointing visit to the Beacon Harvester restaurant in Great Barr where we waited over 25 minutes in a not busy restaurant and received no service. Golden moments looks after it’s customers and that’s the difference between the two places. We should have just avoided the other place and went to Golden Moments to begin with.

I have used this place for around 10 years never had a bad meal, would highly recommend to anyone. Perfect 🤩

Lovely fresh food staff were very good and dint rush you

It's been 25 years since I've had a curry in town, and went after the footy. Well it was amazing. We didn't book but got lucky with a table. Opens at 5.30 and by 6pm on a Saturday this place was very busy, which is a sign of good food. Now onto the food, it was amazing and didn't disappoint. We all tasted each others dishes and each one was full of flavour, well done the waiter for those recommendations. Staff very nice, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Starters, mains and beers for three adults all under £100. Great place, will be back but this time with a booking.

We’re from the Cannock area and usually to go out once a week with friends for a curry but as we have a huge choice of restaurants, we tend to stay local. However, we decided to use Golden Moments on Saturday as our friends highly recommended the food and restaurant as they have been before. The restaurant was nicely decorated, spacious and well lit. Several tables were round, which is brilliant for larger parties and the other tables fairly well spaced out. The staff couldn’t be more gracious and their uniforms made them look super smart. We ordered and were all very happy with our various meal choices, finding exceptional flavours from the spices used along with a little hint of heat to tingle our lips. Our choices to recommend were Smoked paprika chicken, Chicken balti and Sizzling tilapia (which was my choice and it was divine!) We will definitely return!

Only had delivery here so far but I loved it. There were so many layers of flavour to the clay pot veg curry I had. I would love to get more soon.

Nice food just a very long wait time

Yet another fantastic meal. The food here is consistently excellent. All the staff are polite and friendly. The best restaurant for miles around . I wouldn't recommend many places but if you have never been here then come and see for yourselves .You won't be disappointed

This is a great restaurant. Draft beer is very well priced or you can take your own, I personally prefer to order from the business but its good they have the option for everyone. Food is delicious, both sweet curries and more traditional style curries have a great taste. They also do a special buffet on Sundays and offer special menus in the week. My friends and wife all really enjoyed their meals too, andI will definitely return soon.

I’ve been here a few times with my fiance and her mum and dad. The food is always been amazing great selection on buffet and always new foods to try. This place has to be one of the best Indians in the West Midlands, thanks and I’ll see you again soon.

Fabulous air conditioned room on a very warm evening. The three of us had starters and mains, with all of the dishes getting top marks. I had the Rama Lamb, which was superb. The guys were super friendly and happy to explain a dish, if required. I would highly recommend.

Have been using this place 6-7 years mainly eat in odd time takeout , it is going downhill slowly when you eat in they take care of the food when cooking it nice food, when I get take out they just slip it together I got : 3 curry’s last night absolutely horrible( takeout ) slop nothing but water (water curry) Balti, madras, tikka masala you could not tell the iwhich curry was which all curries look the same and all watery opinion salad was warm lol yeah warm like I said I have been using the place for 6-7 years it needs to look after the take out orders customers as good as they do people eating inn because the people who are ordering takes outs is your local customers that eat in that’s why I can make this review and comment as i am 1 of them,

The meal was tasty but, time delay led to it being a poor service. Even when the food arrived it was luke warm and dry on the top. May of been microwaved? Had an amazing takeaway from Golden Moments.We normally enjoy dining out mostly once every week or so, been enjoying Golden Moments Walsall food for a long time.Their food is brilliant, my favorite is the white chicken jhalfrezi [no one else seems to make it quite like Golden moments].Service at Golden Moments is the best i've had by far from any restaurant, the staff are very friendly and attentive even during busy periods.Due to the lock-down we had a takeaway which i collected from the restaurant. [got 10% collection discount]Must say their takeaway food is equally good as their dining inside food.Overall highly recommended by me & my wife.lovely food and service, thank you golden moments.Richard Parker.

Having visited some different Indian restaurants recently, I had forgotten just how fabulous Golden Moments is. The service, as always, is exceptional, and the food is consistently brilliant. I can’t stop eating the Clay Pot Chicken, although the Relish is also fantastic, and I could probably say the same about another ten menu choices! If you haven’t tried Golden Moments, then you should! I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Hard to judge on 3 dishes; tandoori chicken, white rice and a dish (I forget the name) being a mix of aubergine and lentils.The tandoori was excellent but the nameless dish was way too sweet. Why do restaurants insist on adding sugar? For the British?Service was efficient, could have been a little warmer.Inexpensive.

The buffet evening is superb on Wednesday Thursday and Sunday excellent food and plenty to choose from for a reasonable price a must try

Very friendly staff. I ordered my favourite dish, Chicken Methi which wasn’t on the menu but no problems at all producing it from the kitchen. Seriously good naan breads. Wouldn’t hesitate to revisit.

This place never fails to impress. A really nice friendly restaurant. Excellent service by courteous, helpful staff. Authentic flavoured curries or specialities for something more elaborate. An excellent menu to fulfil all tastes, including 2 vegan diners in our party.

The last few buffet meals have been very very poor.Bland and unrecognisable from the same meals on the main menu.Sauces very watery.No issue with the starters.

Went for buffet two weeks ago Food was okay but terrible service.

A group of 18 of us visited without booking and had the Buffet which was amazing value at £9:95 each. The chicken tikka was fantastic.

We visited last night as a group of 4. Had not booked but it was not too busy once we were seated and had eaten our popadums. Drinks arrived promptly but starters then took at least an hour, these were tasty but mains then also took over an hour to arrive when the restaurant was not busy at all at that time. My meal was smoked paprika chicken which was fine but everyone else's food tasted smoky and sweet which was unexpected and not enjoyed at all. Mentioned to staff but were just told there was maybe too much coriander in the meals. A couple of staff apolologised for the wait after we asked about it. But one who brought food over said nothing. We spent nearly £100 and won't be visiting again.

We had a buffet on a Sunday and the food was fantastic. We visit quite regularly and always have great food. The buffet is a great opportunity to taste some selections of mains that you may not have thought of having. Buffet is on for 4 nights but you can also have from the menu on these nights. Good value for money and by far the best Indian Restaurant in Walsall.

I’m not saying this because it’s my mates dads restaurant but they genuinely took a traditional Indian restaurant, and got the imperfections of a traditional restaurant and perfected them. Because I knew the gaffers son they hooked us up and it was the best experience I ever had

Celebrated our friends 60th wedding anniversary on the Thursday and buffet was lovely, great choice of starters and mains, all very hot and the lamb was amazing!would definitely go back here for the buffet

I have been going to Golden Momdnts for just over 20 years now, so I know my review is being honest. The last six months we’ve had takeaways perhaps nine in that time. They’ve got worse, oily, barley warm and the chicken tikka meat is different almost rubbery. I’m officially not using them anymore. It’s very sad but I do not rate their food anymore. It’s very tasteless. Very sorry but being honest.

Well if you think you have eaten good Asian food then go too golden moments and try the best Asian food you will ever eat . We eat here as often as we can or order take outs . The food here is truly truly superb you will not be disappointed . The restraunt is spotless clean also all of the staff give the same impression all of them being well turned out . In my opinion that point is very important having well turned out friendly staff . My all time favourite is the White jalfriezi yes it's white but wow it's packed with flavour. I have never been able to find a jalfriezi as good as this or white in the uk it is fantastic . We have been using golden moments for at least twenty years I think ay e longer than that . If you fancy something other than the norm then go to golden moments they have a excellent menu you do not have too set your mouth on fire if you do not wish too . They have plenty of tasty spicy meals without the heat you will find your own favourite .

Thursday night is buffet night or if you prefer you can still order from the main menu, nothing is too much trouble. Buffet food was hot, well stocked and replaced regularly. I ordered from the main menu and was not disappointed with my choice (chicken korma, rice & naan) very tasty! The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. As I said nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back for more.

We enjoy visiting Golden moments at the weekends as food is always lovely. We’ve also had food delivered too. Tonight we tried the midweek buffet evening instead. It was superb. There is plenty of salad, poppadoms and several starters to choose from. When you finish the starters the staff bring over nan breads. There’s a good choice of chicken, vegetarian and lamb dishes to go with rice. All the dishes are regularly topped up so food is hot.

I don't want to be too negative but there are so many better restaurants in the Walsall borough with much more tasty food and vibrant atmosphere.

We reserved seats for a large group of us one sunday night after reading other reviews on the web - I wasn't impressed to see two circular tables pushed together forcing us to cram around but we sufficed.

I work away a lot and therefore tend to eat loads of take aways.
