As always an amazing meal. But I only wish all of the delivery guys where as friendly! When you pay over £20 for a good quality take away you also expect a friendly delivery! Not just hand your food to you and don’t even speak back when you’ve said thank you! I really dislike rude people!!!

driver was nice and polite, the paneer shaslik.was burnt it was rock hard could not bite it, bit just eat gave me refund for it. restuarant said sorry and said would talk to chefs.

In general the food was good. My madras had good heat with fresh chillies. However I ordered extra chicken and the dish only contained 7 small pieces of chicken which was very very poor.

OMG. Travelled from Kent for a sales meeting and arrived knackered, couple of beers in my hotel whilst reviewing where to eat. Golden Moments was close and well reviewed, so why not try, I love my food and cooking and appreciate new experiences. I was a lone diner, literally but it didn't dampen my experience. Service was great and they allowed me all the time I needed to disect the menu, I made my hard choices. Started, tandoori salmon, delicious, keema peas, omg so delicious, special pillaf rice, wow, so want the recipe, onion bhaji, yum yum and cheese and garlic naan, so so nice. I obvs had too much food but I tried my best to demolish it cos it was sooo nice, really yum, washed down with some shiraz, perfect. I can't rate the food high enough and would totally recommend, great value and experience, thank you all and head chef please share your recipes for me to take home to kent, share the love ❤️

A fantastic place to bring family and friends/ to have a date here. The curries were actually spiced to the level advertised, drinks were tasty and the array of options for starters such as popadoms were great. The only negatives were the lack of heating in the room and the uncomfortable chairs. Other than that I would definitely be coming back!!!

They really nailed the name here, you are going to have golden Moments in this place! I went 3 times and every time I got an extremely good experience. One time I went with a group of 20 colleagues and we order a variety of food, everything was delicious! Service is good, a waiter will come checking on you every 10 minutes and the value for money you get is excellent. Highly recommended.

I have been using this restaurant for 24 years and I can honestly not fault them. I moved to Sutton Coldfield a few years ago and still cannot go without Golden Moments curries, they are by far the best. The service, food and everything is perfect here, they still deliver to me in B75 thats how customer focused they are. The best Indian restaurant by far!

Had a group do here. It was lovely. Didn't expect to have a little room to ourselves which let us be as crazy as we liked. Waiters where great, they were friendly and always checking in. Had to go to the bar to get drinks at times. But the food was lovely! lots of veggie options too! Only a couple of small things for me, parking can be tricky and the tables are a little close. Yet well worth coming for the food. Lots of flavor and very tasty!

just too expensive to get more than a curry and one rice

Delivery was good, however that's the best that can be said, the food was awful. All the dishes tasted the same, and all were far too hot, not spicy just too much chilli, perhaps to cover the overall blandness? Butter pannir had just four pieces of pannir in it and chicken tikka even less chicken. I have had vegetable karahi from many different places but it has never been such an unappealing brown colour or with such a weird after taste. What a waste of money....AVOID Golden Moments. I won't be back.

Best grill and chicken tikka, the chicken is so succulent and tastey. Drivers are very polite and helpful too, thank you.

The food was very bland and they wanted to charge us for pickles and chutney and the salmon I ordered had 4 small pieces and very dry, my friends chops were too dry and my other friends paneer was totally a failure, no taste at all not going there again..

Have used Golden Moments for at least the last 10 years! Fabulous food every single time.. would not use any other Indian restaurant or takeaway!

Another superb meal from Golden Moments. Both the Aloo Puri and the Lamb Ramna scored a 10 with me. The lamb dish is medium heat and bursting with flavour. The meat is tender. I do recommend this if you enjoy good curry.

Mixed grill was tiny. Quality was ok but there wasn’t much to it. Usually really happy with portions but on this occasions we were really disappointed.

Had a birthday / retirement party. My guests know their Indian food and we ordered a variety of dishes. Everything on our plates was first class. I love Methi gosht and this one scored a ten. The staff are superb. A restaurant that has always had a good reputation in this town and certainly standards are still high. First class dining experience Feb 29. Had a late birthday celebration tonight. Staff wonderful, attentive. Food superb as ever. The place is a gem in our town

Food was piping hot, fast delivery.. and probably the best take away I’ve ever had. I had the chicken bhuna shaslik, so tasty. Highly recommend to take away and dine in, never had a bad meal from here.

It was our first time ordering from here and we expected it to be good considering the good reviews. We were surprised that no sauces or a poppadom were included, which is the norm for curry restaurants/takeaways, however didn’t mind that too much. They did cater to our request for less oil in the curries and the taste was fine, but it didn’t wow us. Massively overpriced standard curry

The food from here is always top quality, i ordered tikka masala as the last one was amazing but i was disappointed this time, it was quite watery and just didn’t taste of much, didn’t eat all of it, the bahjis were excellent though

FIsh pakora were nicely cooked but really just fish goujons in batter, would have liked more flavour / spice really as didn't seem like pakora. Chicken balti was a good size, plenty of meat but ridiculously salty. I just picked the chicken out and left the sauce due to the amount of salt. Chips were decent. First time I have had a takeaway which didn't include a popadom/onion salad. All in all some positives, but with lots of choice in the area I wouldn't order again, the amount of salt in the balti ruined it for me. Maybe a different dish would be better.

I reckon this has to be the best food in town. The aloo puri I had was ten out of ten. Methi gosht excellent. It's a little more expensive than the average places rounf here, but the quality os outstanding.

We love Golden Moments! The food is amazing, always cooked perfectly and the service is quick and friendly. There are soft drinks and alcoholic drinks available, including cocktails. The range of dishes is good and includes a good number of vegetarian options. We ordered garlic chilli King prawn, sag aloo, masala chips, paneer Tika masala, plain naan and rice. For dessert we had a Maltesa ice cream and pistachio kulfi. All of the food was lovely and service was faultless. The bill was just under £70, but we did also have two drinks each - Kingfisher and Cobra. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Haven’t ordered for a while and i wasn’t disappointed. Food was hot, delivery was quick.

We really are lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber in town. Little things like putting the puri in a paper bag so it stays crisp on the outside. I'm a fiend for Methi and the methi gosht from here is truly perfect. I had the jeera aloo methi as well and guess what, that is perfect too. A take away isn;t cheap, but the quality of the food speaks for itself.

Honestly great service tasted great, a little bit spicy for my liking but i guess thats my preference. Tasted great and got the order so early, even the delivery driver was lovely.

I wasn't bothered about the delay in my delivery as I was kept informed. I've made noises about the Methi gosht from Golden Moments before. Tonight, I was hungry and I ordered a potato dish also with Methi. All I can say is it was perfection on a plate. Slightly different flavour to the sauces and very complementary they were. I'm still licking my chops. This was the best plate of curry I've had in ages. Well done GM.

Saturday night order and we were very surprised. Poor quality and watery curries Bhuna tasted nothing like it should do and the Tikka Masala was nothing like it should be just generic basic curry. Very poor. Not what we expected.

I really really wanted to find fault with Golden Moments... But I can't. From entering to find a moderately busy restaurant (on a week night, early) there was a buffet in but they were more than happy to offer the a la carte menu too. Staff are very pleasant and can offer all sorts of advice if you're a novice. Drinks are fairly priced too, which complements the food. Very good menu. Something for everyone. This is a regular haunt for us when in Walsall. Make it yours.

I'm very fussy wit my curry and so far Golden Moments have delivered first class reults every time. I have to comment on their Methi Gosht. I rarely give a 10 out of 10, but that's what it deserves. Most restaurants don;t manage the flavour. Tonight I had a paratha for the forst time and have to say that was lovely too. Keep up the good work GM.

When we arrived we were the first and were worried this meant the restaurant was perhaps below standard. But it soon filled up. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and patient. Not your usual curry house: much better, and many dishes I’d not encountered before. Good 4*
