The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Midlands

Very disappointing experience. I really rated Moohans when it opened, but the food and service has dropped off. Ordered a takeaway, which was missing several dishes and two of the curries were almost identical despite being described as different. I called the restaurant to provide constructive feedback (rather than leave a negative review) and was promptly promised a call back, but they couldn't even manage that. Won't be going again, too many poor experiences.

WE went last night as it was my birthday as i am Disabled my wife went to the bar and ordered my drink and her drink we sat down everyone was waiting for their drinks it took over 1 hour for the waiter to take everyone else drink order then it took a further 45 mins before he took everyone's food order it was a nice meal but took to long only 6 of us went and it was has half full this had been pr booked

Excellent food, served quickly, nice ambience and fantastic service. Will return! All of as expected, served the children well, never drinking again!! 🤣🤣

The food and service were very good. The curries were fresh, subtly spiced and well presented. Good naans too! A very reasonable £72 for 4, which included 2 large Kingfishers.

The food is really good. Lovely garlic chilli chicken and great naan bread this visit. Very well priced too. Staff are very pleasant. Only down side is lack of atmosphere due to it being a large open room. Will definitely return - the food is great.

This is probably one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Delicious food, affordable prices, short waiting times.

Tuve una comida para llevar, el naan no se había cocinado correctamente, tuve un Balti de pollo mi pareja tenía un naga de pollo... El Balti no era un Balti era como pollo en salsa, ni un toque de tomate, apenas pimientos o cebollas según la descripción, solo 4 piezas de pollo. Mi pareja tenía una naga de pollo que está destinada a tener mucho calor, literalmente te hace sudar... sin calor y sin chile en absoluto... Primera y última vez en Tikka Town. Now called the Brierley Village and under new management, our first take away meal from here and we didn't know what to expect especially as the reviews looked a little "suspect". We ordered three completely different meals which went down well with mom, dad and daughter. The chips were a bit anaemic but we had no complaints with anything else. In fact it was so good that it could be our new regular. They have done a great job of the refurbishment and I can't wait to eat in. And a few months later we did. Parking can be a bit of a problem but it's worth the effort. They don't sell alcohol so take you will need to take your own. The dining room was nice and warm, clean and very well presented. The food is as good as the reviews and the service was helpful and friendly. The only downside for me was the menu is on a take away leaflet which was a bit small for me to read. I didn't really need it although they do have some interesting dishes that you could miss but I understand a new menu is on the way.

He ordenado desde aquí dos veces, y las dos veces la comida sabía increíble, y llegué rápidamente. Sin embargo, en la segunda ocasión pedimos una porción de poppadoms (supuestamente suficiente para 2 personas) pero solo recibimos 3. Por supuesto, esto fue bastante confuso. Además de esto, en el primer pedido que hice, disfruté tanto del tofu korma que lo volví a pedir. La salsa era la misma, pero el tofu era un tipo diferente que no me gustó tanto (bocanadas de tofu en lugar de tofu firme). No había nada que indicara que el tipo de tofu varía en el sitio web. Dicho esto, todavía disfrutamos nuestra comida de la sala de balti, y ordenaríamos nuevamente a pesar de esto. Pero no contaría con que la porción de poppadom sea precisa, y tal vez elegiría un plato sin tofu.

Visitó aquí un par de veces desde que abrió a principios de este año en las instalaciones que anteriormente albergaban The Pint Shop. Todavía no he comido aquí, pero la selección de cervezas es de primera categoría y cambia con frecuencia. El personal también es, para una persona, genial - muy amable y servicial, te servirá pequeños catadores si no estás seguro de lo que quieres tener.

I've reviewed before but have to review again because it's just *that* good. I've been here about 5/6 times now for food, wouldn't go anywhere else now if we're after a curry. The food is unreal, tastes homemade - not like the generic sauces you get in every other Indian restaurant. Portion size is brilliant (do not order more than one portion of onion bahjji 🤣). They definitely don't scrimp on meat, the lamb is my favourite, always so tender! My kids absolutely love it here as well. Management and staff are always lovely, really friendly - I even got a compliment on how old I look so brownie points there ha! Would definitely recommend, little hidden gem in the middle of Sheldon, who'd have thought! Thanks staff again for another lovely dinner!

Amazing food, fantastic staff, Perfect atmosphere....I would not eat anywhere else. This is the best food, perfectly spiced and beautifully presented.

Llegó a las 7: 30 pm un viernes por la noche a una mesa reservada para 11 personas. Finalmente recibimos nuestros platos principales a las 9 pm una hora y media después de llegar. La comida cuando finalmente llegó era perfectamente bueno, pero el tiempo que tuvimos que esperar era totalmente inaceptable. Era bastante obvio que los pedidos para llevar tienen prioridad y retrasar el servicio de restaurante una vez más. Fue un buen trabajo que como grupo de amigos tuvimos mucho de qué hablar mientras esperábamos.

Staff really welcoming, Place was warm and clean. Food was excellent.. Very accommodating regarding ordering. Went for the set menu which was good value and delicious. Also take your own alcohol. Perfect..
