Worst experience. Very bad food Ordered chicken tikka Chasni. Had to throw it straight into the waste bin after the first bite. Felt like they have just added a lot of glucose/sugar syrup into a turmeric paste. Very disappointed to have spent the money and time. 😠😫 Not going back to them ever again.

Great food. Very friendly. We prefer this now to Nirvana.

Went for my son's birthday on Boxing day 24. Staff were lovely, nice warm friendly atmosphere and the food was really good. All in all a really enjoyable evening. Thank you everyone.

Food luke warm and small portions for the price

Went there over the weekend for my friends birthday. We asked the waitress if we could have our starters and sides same time as main as the other girls was just having the mains and she agreed. Starters came out first...had to eat it cause was getting cold then our mains, sides arrived which was just chips, rice and naan eyc....we complained to the waitress and she said it was her fault as she forgotten to tell the chef..waitress offered a new starter to come out asap... starter arrived but it was the wrong dish then our chips, rice and naan was cold... finally the new starter arrived....took one bite and found a hair it in, told the waiter/waitress straight away...at this point I just had one starter and ready to go home....the waitress/waiter couldn't even be bothered to come around the table to take our orders so we had to shout...also when they were giving out food they couldn't be bothered to walk round to each one of us...they think we have long arms ..the manager did give us £40 off our bill after several minutes of arguing with him!! This is easy for me....I will not be coming back there again.

I recently visited an amazing curry restaurant that completely blew me away! The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy dinner. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, from classic chicken tikka masala to some unique vegetarian options that were bursting with flavor. I decided to try their lamb curry, and it was simply divine. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, with a rich, aromatic sauce that had just the right amount of spice. The naan bread was freshly baked, soft, and perfect for soaking up every last bit of the sauce. As a wheelchair user I managed to wheel myself in and enjoy the dining experience like a normal person. The service was impeccable as well despite being busy. Nina and maj were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious curry experience. It's definitely a gem worth visiting!

We ordered a takeaway from dessert island. Was meant to arrive at 9pm and didn’t arrive until 10:45pm. We only ordered 3 items a cheese cake, waffle and cheesy fries. The fries were freezing cold when they arrived and the cheese cake was all squashed and they gave me the smallest possible slice. We had no apology for the order being late.

From the moment I walked into this place, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting for a lovely meal out and the staff delivered a dining experience to remember!! The two staff members Nina and Maj were extremely generous and they treated me and my family remarkably. I will definitely be returning soon - a lovely place for a family meal.

we have eaten all over the uk and this was by far the worst.... under cooked chicken in a sauce that had absolutely no spice and that was crying out for some sort of flavour , soft poppadum's watery bland rice very small naan bread mango chutney was just small chunks of a mango in a pot not chutney just fruit chunks.. i hate leaving negative reviews but there was not one good thing about this. how on earth this got such a high review is beyond me.. but this take out was horrid.. absolutely avoid..

Not recommended!!! Very rude staff, well-lied trained and not respectful at all!!! First time ordered and last time! I waited for delivery more than a hour after expected delivery time! Have contacted them to ask about my order they said that tried to deliver my order and nobody were in (what is a lie), my son has waited for them outside on the street and nobody came with an order. They been so rude and start scream. So in the end had cried kids, I fully stressed and money lost!!!! What a shame.

The Island catered for a party we held at a nearby village hall and everyone went back for seconds. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again for an event.

Four of us really enjoyed our curries this time (Saturday 5th October). We haven't been for a while as it wasn't so good last time. However, this time, vegetable Dhansak was beautiful, mixed Balti really good. Great Naan bread and rice too. Whoever the Chef was on this evening, keep up the good work! Our only complaint was that we had to ask twice for the music to be turned down as we couldn't hear each other talking, it was so loud! Keep it low - nice to have some background music, but not when you end up shouting to be heard while eating a nice meal.

First time coming and we will absolutely come back. Everything was beautiful and everyone was very welcoming. My husband and I would highly recommend and we are looking forward to coming back

Had a takeaway, order took 2.5 hours to arrive was missing numerous parts of the order and the food was stone cold and soggy had to throw it in the bin. When I called the restaurant for a resolution they said they were very busy and a replacement order would be a long wait. Absolutely awful customer service will never order from here again!

The staff are always friendly and service is good. We enjoy the food here each time we go. It has an extensive menu with a wide range of combinations so there should be no problem for anyone who appreciates a good curry. So good we recommend the restaurant to friends and family. We will be eating here again.

Ordered online, waited almost 2 hours for delivery when it said 45mins. Food was warm at best. For a Sunday night it was poor

I ordered food for delivery this evening. It was just okay - for the price. The chicken tikka madras was really quite sweet which I didn’t enjoy at all. The rice was also inconsistent in texture - quite a few hard lumps. The cheese naan, though, was lovely.

Hardly any meat in my husband or my curry this evening. I had 6 or 7 cubes of chicken (one was oddly crunchy and I couldn’t bite through it 🤢) and my husband had the same amount of lamb. We shared rice and naan but both had lots of sauce left on our plates at the end. This place used to be pretty good but we won’t bother again. Disappointing but

Our party of six were warmly welcomed, and selected meals from the extensive menu. All the meals were tasty and well-presented, as were the desserts; staff were friendly and efficient. We have visited this venue in the past; standards are consistently high, and it is highly recommended. Street parking is available in front of the restaurant,

Great selection of dishes for meat eaters but lacking for veggies. Portion sizes are just about right and are full of flavour and texture. Pricing is competitive. We ate in and seemed to take second place to home delivery orders.

Was a bit quiet as mid week but the food was superb. You can take your own booze which makes it a lot cheaper.

Great service as usual, from the guys! My food was amazing however we had a miscommunication with an order for my wife however once I made a call (Take Away) they asked about the problem, understood my issue and kindly dealt with it very quickly. I always say, rate a business on how they respond to a problem as well as their product. Thanks and definitely recommend.

We haven't been for a while due to our busy lives but met friends there recently. Husband had mixed Balti, which he always has and he said it was great. I had a vege Dhansak. The sauce was lovely but it was a bit lacking in vegetables and consisted of lots of potatoes and cabbage. I think I managed to find about 3 peas. A bit disappointed as it used to have peas, mushrooms, sweetcorn, cauliflower, green beans, spinach or a mix of these or other vege things as well, obviously depending what they had. Rice, Nans and poppadoms were great. Just need to improve on the vegetable content please! I left the potatoes and some of the cabbage, so really it was just sauce!! I recently had tge same curry rlsewand ut was bursting with vegetables. Service was good. It's still a really nice place. We will try again soon.
