The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Midlands

Excellent service, charming owner and staff, and consistently excellent food which I have enjoyed over many years without disappointment. Always a fun and enjoyable experience.

Every time we go to this restaurant we have the most amazing service. The food is superb. The dining room is immaculate and the service is second to none. I tried the salmon curry this time… it was excellent.

I try to only go once a month. It's waaay too good.

Walked in just after 4pm with my partner for some lunch. The pub had a daunt feeling to it when we walked in as there were only 2 people there before us and the bar tenders were just staring at us. My partner went to the toilet and I walked through to the restirant side. Cricket was playing and I leaned on the table watching as I waited for my girl. Bartender walked over to me and said can you not sit on the table? I said ok. After around 10 Minutes we decided to order drinks as I approached the bar and ordered the drinks he said can you remove your baseball cap. Even though my hat was turned backwards and was with my partner, it seemed weird. Even more weird because someone was already in there with a baseball cap, which I took a picture of when I was leaving don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Food was late, oily, soggy and cold. Never order again. 5 measly chicken wings for £10. Ridiculous

No puedo culpar a Patiala en absoluto. La comida es fresca, deliciosa y abundante. Acabo de volver a casa de otra excelente comida en Patiala. Lamp chops starter y Khazana Cordero con arroz pilau para mi principal. Hay una gran variedad de carnes, pescados y platos vegetarianos en el menú. Pero lo que hace que la visita sea aún más especial es el personal. Estos chicos son muy amables y genuinamente interesados en cómo eres. Nada es demasiado problema para ellos. El lugar está impecable y las mesas están bien dispuestas y no hay mucha gente. No sabes lo que te estás perdiendo si no le das una oportunidad a Patiala. Y si prueba la comida aquí, le garantizo que volverá por más.

Delicious, authentic Indian food. I've done take-out and dine in. I've never had something I didn't enjoy!

Attempted to order a takeaway online through their website; absolutely useless. Half the buttons on the site don't work including the payment button. You're losing a lot of custom!

I went with a large family group and they managed to get our food to us quickly and with great service! We had some jokes with them and the food was out of this world!!!

Our regular takeaway/ delivery, usually so good Tonight, the food was appalling?? Poppadoms were stale and ruined because they had been put in the bag with the hot food? My usual ceylon chicken was bright red in colour, no flavour, bland, chicken poor quality? The garlic and cheese nan was more like a pizza? Oily and tasteless Chicken pakora looked like it came from Iceland, bland and oozing old oil. Same for the shami and shish kebabs, onion bhajiis. Bombay aloo was overcooked, Oily and a startling shade of bright red, Tarka dhal is usually so flavourful. Tonight it just tasted bitter? Chips were not cooked/ oozing old oil? SO disappointed What a waste of £50 Will not be ordering from here ever again and would appreciate a refund, (from the restaurant directly as you were happy to send out this unacceptable food)

I ordered the Delhi special…. Sorry but no prawns were in the dish!!!… I ordered the dish as I was expecting at least a couple of prawns.

My regular choice for a takeaway meal. The staff are very friendly and the food is prepared to a high standard with generous servings. Highly recommended.
