Another meal out with family at The Himalayan. As always we had a warm welcome. The food was excellent, flavoursome, great portion sizes and really good quality. Thanks for my Chana chat puri which as always was superb. See you again when we’re next down on a visit to family. Highly recommend a visit here if you haven’t been.

Just had a Saturday treat night takeaway, arrived to a lovely clean tidy restaurant welcomed by really friendly staff, our meal was ready within 10 minutes of arriving having been given a time of collection, honestly can’t fault the service, got home and the meal was amazing, we honestly can’t fault a single thing, it was wrapped to keep it warm and there was plenty of food and value for money, 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend this restaurant for either eat in or a cheeky take away, well done guys and thank you very much

when my friend told me this restaurant has got offer 4 course for 18.90 I was shock and I told myself how can be fresh food and when I been there I wonder why because nothing fresh to order and very cheap quality in these days McDonald even get higher how they can give for course with that price if anybody respect their body never eat bad quality food just because its cheap

Been here a few times now and the food is always excellent but tonight was the best meal we have had. Meat samosa subtle flavouring, crispy and dry, Malai Chicken tender and delicately spiced. Chicken Madras spicy and flavoursome in a rich sauce. Chicken Pathia was sour with just the right amount of sweetness. Absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend

The food is really good. Lovely garlic chilli chicken and great naan bread this visit. Very well priced too. Staff are very pleasant. Only down side is lack of atmosphere due to it being a large open room. Will definitely return - the food is great.

Now called the Brierley Village and under new management, our first take away meal from here and we didn't know what to expect especially as the reviews looked a little "suspect". We ordered three completely different meals which went down well with mom, dad and daughter. The chips were a bit anaemic but we had no complaints with anything else. In fact it was so good that it could be our new regular. They have done a great job of the refurbishment and I can't wait to eat in. And a few months later we did. Parking can be a bit of a problem but it's worth the effort. They don't sell alcohol so take you will need to take your own. The dining room was nice and warm, clean and very well presented. The food is as good as the reviews and the service was helpful and friendly. The only downside for me was the menu is on a take away leaflet which was a bit small for me to read. I didn't really need it although they do have some interesting dishes that you could miss but I understand a new menu is on the way.

I thought about whether to write this it's in my village and I'd like to see local businesses thrive but if this is the standard I doubt it will be around much longer . It took an age (we collected) which is ok. There was a dish with chicken and beef mince I don't recall ordering it, proper salty. They have previous for incorrect dishes its literally a lottery when you go to plate up the order. One dish historically they've done well is the chilli chicken , alas this was poor , we had the lentil dish which reminded me of the squits. The chicken chettinand was bang average. There was a distinct lack of flavour in all the dishes I don't usually order a tikka massala and wish I hadn't the sauce was runny like a soup. The chicken tikka was ok there was little paneer as advertised. On a positive note the containers were good quality and we left most of it so I don't feel guilty for over eating . Sort the chefs out ASAP ...

We ordered buss up shot, dhalpuri and pholourie for my Guyanese Mum’s 90th party. Many guests were Guyanese and we all loved the food. So so refreshing to know that we do not have to go to London any more to get Guyanese/Trini food !!

The boss, Kishore, always does a marvellous job. His cooking hot, always tasty and competitively priced. There is a very smart bar, a huge, well-appointed dining room but with rather more televisions than is really needed All it needs is some real ales to be perfect

Good service, friendly staff. Smoked bacon which is unusual but tasty. Eggs poached as standard however they are overcooked unfortunately. Teapigs tea served which is very nice. Cakes look amazing although I didn’t try them.
