Tandori Kitchen in Stafford

Appalling services waited 43 minutes for a basic takeaway, 3 staff always argued when asked when is my takeaway ready I was asked have I paid.... no communication between staff at any point, food was ok nothing to shout about, but the services is appalling. At no point did anyone ask or inform takeaway on its way I feel if I had not asked after 45mins I would be waiting even longer. Better in Stone 2 mile away and services are brilliant.

We had a great meal here during our stay at a local air b&b. The food was great and the price was very fair! Make sure you get a meal from here you won’t regret it!

Awesome takeaway, I drive from stone to Eccleshall because the food is that good.

By far the worst food I’ve ever tasted!! Chicken tikka masala laced with Heinz tomato soup. Upon returning the food and requesting a refund the barrage of abuse and shouting started. Ran by an angry little man.

Ordered over the phone time given was spot on for collection.Amazing food , hot and freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend.

My brother gave me this recommendation this week when I was visiting London in the West End, for the 2nd time around. Although the male waiters weren’t that friendly, the young lady, was super friendly! We took a selfie together and I will never forget the long discussion we had on everything! Since I am Vegan, I chose the screamed spinach, red Dahl, brown rice and the gluten and dairy free naan. This was delicious and I had leftovers ready for the next morning’s trip to the airport. Yum! Yum! The decor is older and rustic inside the seemingly small but large restaurant. My meal arrived hot, steamy and oh so delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant in the West End of London. It is tucked back inside a narrow street leading to Oxford Street, so be careful not to miss this gem. I will return as soon as possible and I truly hope that Tandori Kitchen will be awaiting me with open arms and new delectable meals to enjoy. My hope is that you will find delight in it too.

I haven't been here for 28 years due to moving away with my career. Now retired, I've returned to the area and was delighted to see that the same owner was still here! That in its self says a lot! Food was excellent and fits the budget too.

Great food, best takeaway in the county by far.

Had a very average meal at one Indian Restaurant in Eccleshall but this little tucked away Take Away was far nicer.Superbly efficient with a few freebies like Popadoms and Dips thrown in,we were delighted and will be back.

We went on the 13th May to treat my wife with a birthday treat. I thought the bhajis were disgraceful. In my opinion they cooked them the previous day and they were heated throughout the day. They were VERY crisp and I broke them up to separate them and they just crumbled in my hand. Very disappointing!!!

Very good take away. We have used it only once but highly recommend it. We had Chicken fried rice, Lamb Pathia, Chicken Jalfrazi, Pershari nann, Prawn on Puree and Onion Bhaji and recommend all these meals. We will be back.

The food is incredible, always piping hot and delicious! The staff are so so lovely and make you feel like a valued customer on each visit! I wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

We had a takeaway from here and can not fault it at all, from the cleanliness of the establishment to the taste of the food We had chicken tikka masala and mushroom rice Bombay potatoes and cheese garlic Nan break... All of a very very good standard, we will be back. Highly recommended .........PLEASE OPEN A RESTAURANT .........

Lovely bubbly , great tasting takeaway.

Very disappointed, I don’t like to leave bad reviews but tonight I’m going have too... I ordered the food over the phone and arrived at the tandoori kitchen for the first time as I had been advised too. I soon noticed the uncleanliness of the take out from as far as the eye could see. The food was very bland and watery the ‘garlic and cheese’ Naan seemed just like a normal Naan bread. It’s a shame to say that a ready meal curry was more enjoyable the only compliment I can make is to the lad on the counter, very pleasant. Sorry to leave this review but I felt I had too, I hope you take this into consideration and prove me wrong.

Quite simply the best Indian Takeaway by far. I don't bother going anywhere else & have to travel to get there but well worth it.

It used to be a great chippy, now its a great Indian. Love it

Don't be fooled by the simple front. The food was very tasty (extra praise for the tender chicken) and ready in under half an hour. Plenty of extra bits thrown in (salad, dips etc) and the whole thing came in under a tenner.

Best Indian takeaway with the food being consistently good. Got some wonderful taste to it from milder dishes through to the vindaloo. The meat is always cooked perfectly and never had a bad meal there in all the sixteen years we have been having food from there. Now if this place did a restaurant side to it think it would be full all the time when open. Friendly chap that runs it will always explain the dishes and levels of heat so you know what you are getting. Ok the place from the outside might look not like the most attractive stylish shop front. The main thing is the food and that for me and the rest of family more than makes up for it. Been to some more upmarket looking places but the food pretty awful.

Great food, best Indian food in Eccleshall. If they could just get the timing right in busy times it could be excellent. Regardless they're still getting 5 stars down to the tasty dishes!

Consistently good authentic and tasty food at reasonable prices. When we eat a curry at the restaurants in and around Stone, always end up thinking we should have saved some money and gotten a better meal from this takeaway.

Firstly this Indian has got a great price. We ordered the sheek kebab, chicken tikka masala, special Biryani, chicken korma, naan bread, pilau rice. They were all very nice apart from the tikka masala. I didn't especially like its sauce. Moreover, the exterior of the place could be more enticing. Overall, if you want a great priced Indian, come here!

Good tasty food cooked & served with a smile . Wide menu & all dishes at reasonable prices. All food coked freshly so expect to wait a while.

Chicken jalfrezi. Absolutely delicious. Full of flavour. Moist perfectly cooked chicken. Poppadoms superb. Can't fault this place. Better than anywhere locally or in Stone and Stafford. The Karai is good too. You'll be hooked.

Really excellent takeaway food with friendly staff. Quality ingredients used in great dishes and it is consistently good quality every time I visit. No sit down restaurants I have visited in the Stafford/Stone area are as good as the takeaways from here

This curry house is incredible. The staff here are very friendly, the service is quick and the prices are so reasonable. The food is the better than any curry house in Stafford and we now drive here especially for takeaway. The chicken tikka masala in particular is extremely moreish and I have yet to find one elsewhere that is as good! The onion Bahji's are large and proper crispy unlike most Indian takeaways. Cannot recommend this place enough and having introduced friends they are now also driving from Stafford to get takeaway from here!

You notice how good it is here after eating from elsewhere. This place is one of the few things I miss about the village. The food here is excellent. We had seek kebab, poppadoms, Tarka dal, chicken karai, rice. Delicious. I've never had a bad stomach from here yet I do from other places. Once you use this place, you'll be reluctant to go elsewhere.

You know the feeling you get when you decide "we'll have a curry tonight" - nothing can change your tastebuds' mind!The Tandoori Kitchen always produces quality food. Never expensive and always consistently good.

Always our first choice for an Indian take away. Always helpful and will alter dishes to suit fussy eaters.

Didn't even realise the tandoori kitchen was in Eccleshall because its so hidden away from all the shops in the village. The food was really really nice, will definitely come back !!!!!

The taste and quality of the food is simply the best in the village. Everything they do here is a cut above the rest. It's only a takeaway but you'll tell the difference.

In my opinion the best Indian in the area. Why? The food is superb & consistent, the prices very reasonable & the service is great!
