Just had a Saturday treat night takeaway, arrived to a lovely clean tidy restaurant welcomed by really friendly staff, our meal was ready within 10 minutes of arriving having been given a time of collection, honestly can’t fault the service, got home and the meal was amazing, we honestly can’t fault a single thing, it was wrapped to keep it warm and there was plenty of food and value for money, 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend this restaurant for either eat in or a cheeky take away, well done guys and thank you very much

We had a takeaway, rang up and placed the order. The gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful and convinced me to try a different curry which was the nicest curry I’ve had ever! It will now be a regular thing for us. Great price and service, the food was beautiful!

Had a fabulous meal with brilliant, friendly service. Delicious flavours, across our 4 meals, and generous servings. Would definitely recommend the biriyani and batura (bread).

The meal was delicious. I enjoyed a lamb Madras. My family and friends, all of whom chose various curry versions for dinner tonight.

An absolutely superb meal! We decided at the last minute to collect a takeaway this evening. It was ready in 20 minutes, and was delicious. The lamb was lovely and tender, in sauces that were really fresh tasting, no greasiness, with lovely side dishes and breads. Will go again, several times I reckon...

Called in after a drink in town. Not overly busy with people eating in but there was a steady stream of people while we were there. But there were a lot of take away customers - loads of folk coming and going. As usual service was very friendly, efficient and attentive but not overly so. We just had a few popadoms to start and a main course each. All of our meals were spot on. As normal nothing to complain about,

Ten years or more ago I ran a pub in market Drayton. I regularly used to eat here and it was always fantastic. More recently having moved back to the area I’ve started going again as a takeaway customer. This is simply the best curry house not only in town but also that I’ve been to. It’s excellent every single time. The service is perfect and the food is remarkable.

The food is excellent. I am a fussy curry eater and can recommend this as an excellent restaurant. The sauces are fresh and home made. The Peshawar naan is highly recommended. I had a vegetarian curry and it was delicious ! The manager was really nice.

This place is a great Indian. We had takeaway and the food was hot and tasty. It wasn't five stars as it'd have to be above average. Having said that it seems like a reliable curry house that I would frequent if I was a local.

We didn’t eat in this time round we had a takeaway - as usual The Jaipur didn’t disappoint. Our order was ready and waiting for us. Nice to see quite a few tables busy with people ‘eating in’. Our meals were still hot when we got home. We’re perhaps biased but we reckon The Jaipur is the best indian in town. It’s been our favourite for years. Can’t think of a bad meal we’ve had from there.

We’ve had plenty of take aways during the pandemic but this was the first time we’ve sat in for a meal. Despite there being plenty of people in there it didn’t feel over crowded. Service was very friendly and efficient. We all had popadoms, starters and mains and nothing was left at the end - delicious. We’d have struggled to have eaten any more because of the generous portions. Not sure if it was because this was the first time we’d sat in the Jaipur for a while but all four of us commented that there was a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. There was just a really happy feeling about the place that night - but that might have been the drink?!!! But all of us really enjoyed our meals and the night….

We have ordered a number of takeaways from this restaurant over the past few months. The food is always of the highest quality and we have never been disappointed. The service is highly efficient and friendly. We are looking forward to using the restaurant soon. Highly recommended

Of course there’s only take away available at the moment. We’ve not ordered anything from the Jaipur since lick down has started. If we’re honest we didn’t know it was open until someone mentioned it was open. But it was worth the wait. Not sure if it’s because we’ve not had one for a while but oh it was so good, so tasty. Absolutely nothing to moan about. The staff followed social distancing, were very friendly and seemed happy to see me when I collected our food . We’ll not leave it 10 weeks before the next order.

Decided to try this place again having previously eaten here some time ago. However, wished we had saved our time and money. Welcome very effusive and warm from the owner, seated quickly...... but......Browsed the ‘ menu’ ordered the standard poppadums which arrived virtually straight away. They were disappointing as they tasted somewhat stale as if they had been sitting around some time. Starters were then received and that is where the evening went down hill. I ordered vegetable samosas which if I was being kind were rock hard and almost inedible - if I had wanted deep fried from frozen Death Stars i would have not been disappointed but my companions starter was fine.Main course arrived after a delay initiated by ourselves and I couldn’t believe what was being offered under the guise of pilau rice, it just wasn’t pilau rice it seemed to be something I cannot find words to describe it.Decided to ignore the desserts and opted for coffee with the obligatory mint chocolates which was again disappointing but the place isn’t a coffee shop so what should I expect Really wish we hadn’t visited and will definitely not be going back anytime soon.

We have been here a few times to eat in and it’s been great, however when we ordered a takeaway it was quite disappointing. Nothing like when you eat in.

Last night this restaurant opened it's doors to our family even though they don't normally open on a Monday to allow us to celerbrate our sons birthday.The owner and his wife made us welcome took our order, cooked the food and waited on us. The food was excellent and very tasty and enjoyed by all, thank you.

Twelve of us had booked a table for a night out. We were shown straight away to our table. All meals came out within a couple of minutes of each other. No one waited. By the look of the empty plates and dishes everyone’s meals were spot on .Service was efficient, friendly and attentive attentive but not so much that they were pests. A great time was had by all. Large group of friends had booked a table. Restaurant was very quiet but admittedly we were eating very early in the night.Considering how large a group we were all of our meals came out together and no one had any complaints with their choices. Best Indian had in a long time, wish we had found it sooner. Peaceful and calming atmosphere with great service. Good prices, will be coming again.

Food is always amazing and the service is spot on. We have tried the other Indian restaurants in town but always come back to the jaipur because the food is consistently brilliant, you are guaranteed a friendly welcome and the food and drinks are good value for money.

The food was lovely & atmosphere was really nice. Staff couldn’t do enough to make the night pleasant. Will definitely go there again soon.

We were visiting friends in cheswardine and this restaurant was recommended by one of their friends, we were welcomed warmly and seated quickly we chose a bottle of house red which was very good in fact we had another bottle later, we all had starters which were tasty and presented really well, our main courses arrived piping hot and we all said this was one of the best Indian meals we had ever had, the staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of there way to suit all our tastes our friends chose the same meal which had a bit of a spicy kick but they made one a bit milder as she doesn’t like her food too spicy, thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Jaipur and will definitely visit again

We chose to eat here from reviews on here as were staying a few miles away, we were not disappointed.

This is our absolute favourite Indian (we drive 25 mins to go here). We have eaten here about 15 times so far and can't fault any of them.

We have been eating delicious food here - in restaurant and takeaway - for many years. House specialties are very tasty and they are flexible if you like a particular dish hotter/ milder. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I usually just 'take away' but, the food is great. Passanda, Lohari and Tawa which I had just yesterday are definitely worth trying. Overall, satisfied and will dine with Jaipur again. Mark

Por desgracia, este restaurante era pésimas pedí un gambas patia y las gambas puri eran pequeñas, la salsa muy sosa, pero con un sabor ligeramente amargo después. Para mi principal estaba obviamente esperando mejor y pedimos uno de los platos de cordero, que sin duda desde la descripción parecía apetitosa. Cuando llegó la increíblemente salsa era exactamente la misma salsa que acompañó la entrante y el cordero era duro y muy seco. El resto de mi grupo adaptamos poco mejor y uno de mis amigos tenía un plato de pescado que se sirve del hueso que tenía muchos huesos pequeños que era incomible. Cuando este se preguntó sobre el camarero tuvo la audacia para avisar que todos los peces tienen huesos. En resumen, fue una especie de calvario y aconsejaría a cualquiera que esté pensando en ir allí para pensar y darle una escucha.

Fuimos allí para mi comida de cumpleaños la semana pasada. Después de leer críticas positivas que esperamos para la ocasión.

Buen servicio, encontramos que cuando nos quiera la factura el caballero sirve no ser visto. Entrantes pareció extraño pues no había cebolla bargi como es la norma y la mezcla de verduras y hongos bargi en su lugar. Para encontrar lo que llegó fue más como una pequeña ensalada estofado de curry tipo wirth. Muy bonito, no es lo que esperábamos y porque había mucho de que resultó difícil comer nuestros platos principales. Acabé teniendo que llevar. Principales tenía una buena variedad y fue una agradable comida.

We visited this restaurant on 25th March. The service was excellent, with very friendly staff. Food was very good - can recommend the King Prawn Bhuna.

We've had a takeaway from here a few times now, really quick service, 15 minutes and it's always been ready to collect. The service is fantastic, always has a chat and gives us a drink too! Good quality food and really tasty, excellent value for money. I would recommend!

Great family meal in the Jaipur, have been many times before, we had a really excellent meal, the best Chicken Tikka Pathia Puree to start followed by Chicken Tikka Masala, I can never fault the food here, the manager is always friendly and pleasant and did us a favour by allowing in at 5-30pm as we were in town watching the lights switch on and wanted somewhere where we could fit 7 people to eat thanks so much see you again soon.

We were made very welcome and enjoyed excellent food. The owner was very friendly and overall was a lovely evening out.

The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and attentive.The restaurant is spotlessly clean, Nothing is a problem. We've been to the Jaipur many times over the years and haven't been disappointed once.This is a busy restaurant; at a weekend it's best to book to make sure of getting a table. The last time we went was a very busy Saturday night. We had to wait approx 30 mins for our table but it's worth the wait. Our meals soon followed. Chicken pathia & lamb sagwala. Delicious.As normal great service and excellent food.

The Jaipur deserves this 5 star rating due to the quality of the exceptionally tender lamb tikka pathia balti takeaway (prepared quickly, at an exceptional price). The reason for only my 4th review in as many years is that as I entered the restaurant someone dropped something behind me making a lot of noise. The owner immediately put my order on the counter and went to help outside thinking there was an accident! Excellent service, with a smile, from a caring owner.

We have been here twice and had different dishes each time and it's all been superb. There is a huge menu with lots to choose from. The chefs specials in particular are nice.The service is friendly, the staff chat to you and are so friendly and helpful.

Loved our usual but heard good reports so tried Jaipur. Tried the Thali as a mini buffet of what they offer and very impressed!! Courteous efficient service free drink incredibly high quality food and free bhajis to boot! There was enough in thali alone for two but the Shaslick was delicious too! Intrigued with the rest of menu so will try again !!:) recommend ...

All of us a family of 6 visited this restaurant on a quiet Wednesday evening all I can say is the food was full of flavour. Will be returning!

One of only 2 decent , eat in, Indian restaurants in town. Very convenient for town center parking. These folks have been doing this for a long time and are very competent. The food is exactly what you would expect from a good quality Indian venue. If you are looking for a safe bet, good food with no tummy problems the next day! You won't go far wrong here. Many folks who live in Market Drayton swear by the Jaipur as being a very good quality restaurant and that says a lot as there are other choices. My wife and I will only ever eat out at one of two Indians in town and this is one of them. Good value as well.

My girlfriend and I had a great takeaway meal from Jaipur in between Christmas and New Years Eve. Both had poppadoms with chutneys etc, the chicken and keema biriani with sagaloo bhaji and garlic naan bread. It was really well priced and very tasty indeed. Really love the food and service from here, well worth a visit if you are in Market Drayton.

Best curry in ages! Wonderful service, and tastiest king prawn tandoori ever! Don't know what they could have done better.

We had a takeaway and it was superb. We love Indian food and have been to a few restaurants. We have a favourite near Manchester but this place has come very near to it. I had lamb Bhuna, it's one of the better ones I've had, spicy and full of flavour. Staff are friendly. Will be going back sooooon

We use The Jaipur whenever we want to eat out and have been going for more years than I like to remember.Never yet had a bad meal whether eating in or take away.Great friendly service always...highly recommended

Went in for dinner this evening and were looked after throughout our meal. Great service and food with a really good white wine. The keema naan was so fresh and tasty and the shaslicki chicken was delicious. Highly recommend dining here as they really look after you. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful meal and all 6 members enjoyed every bit of it. Since 1988 (i think) they've been serving Market Drayton to the top quality, real gem to the village. Do not hesitate to check them out, you won't be let down, polite members of staff and excellent food of course! We go back every time!

Had a cracking meal yet again from jaipur. Great service, well balanced and seasoned food. Some lovely wine which paired well with the meal. We are always made to feel so welcome here, we can't fault the place!

The food was superb, served with a smile! Very helpful staff in finding a high chair for the baby. Nothing to dislike, I would definitely eat here again.

All our dishes were full of flavour and the wine list is very reasonably priced. Miha (Sp?) our waiter was very friendly and attentive despite a steady flow of take out orders to service. Am told people prefer to order take out because the main room is drafty but we didn't have any problem. Pity it doesn't open lunchtimes.

We turned up one Friday evening - 8 of us - and were seated straight away, after a few tables were put together. The staff were very helpful and explained everything from the portion size to where the toilets were! The food was great, I especially liked the Salmon Tikka. We did have a bit of a wait for the main meal, but they were very busy as they do a takeaway service as well as the sit down restaurant. Will definitely go back if in the area again.

I am usually quite picky with Indian food however they delivered exceptionally well and I appreciate the warm welcome even though we were just picking up a takeaway!!! Perfectly cooked and balanced food, highly recommend vegetarian korma!! Thanks guys :-)

Another great meal in Jaipur Curry House. Great service, top food and drinks. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They find out what you like and make recommendations for similar dishes. Went with three others and we all really enjoyed our night out (including the Naga chilli) phew! Very hot indeed. Give it a try.

This place isn't as good as I remember or maybe it's because I've eaten some amazing Indian food lately. Positives are that the staff are very friendly and the service is always in good time. You also will get a free cobra beer for spending so much. Generally food is average. I really do think it used to have better flavouring but other members of my family really enjoyed it. Garlic naan was also a bit doughy.

Went back again last night and had another lovely meal in Jaipur. Great food and service is always a winning combination and these guys always provide both. We had poppadoms and chutneys, two mainsa with rice, peshwari naan and a sag aloo with a bottle of Las Condes white all for just over £40.

A friend recommended this curry restaurant having been there 15 years earlier, and was really pleased to find it still going strong. Sometimes I wonder if the high street curry will one day die a death, but this restaurant reassures me it will not. Jaipur is in a different league from most. It offers all your favorite dishes, and some that are particular to itself e.g. a delicious dish of chicken stuffed with keema (minced meat) and other stuff, I really recommend the (meaty tali though I'm sure the vegetarian one is good too). The naan breads were light and buttery, the food was overall delicious, not at all greasy and is served in very pleasant surroundings and by staff who are enthusiastic and friendly but not OTT polite-polite. Very busy. We got the feeling this was the only good place to eat in this small town that is a bit sorry for itself - you could easily find yourself there if you are touring the Shropshire Union Canal.

Some of the worst Indian food I have ever had in a long time. The flavors were mixed all mixed up and tasted like a total mess. I don't want to annoy anyone but the place is very below par with its menu. Maybe to improve things they could make the menu a bit more compact and not blind people with the over saturated all the same food, but with a slightly different name mentality. The popadoms were good though!

Popped in again last Thursday and had a cracking meal tailored to our specific needs. I had the chicken shashlicki and my girlfriend had the spiced salmon dish, we both loved our meals and the wine was perfect. The host was very helpful as always and took time out to chat with us, we love this place, well worth a try

I've eaten here often when celebrating birthdays with family who live in the Market Drayton area. Staff very friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. all in all a very enjoyable experience.

I have been to Indian restaurants all over the world and the Jaipur is the best one I have eaten in. The service is always fantastic, if you're unsure of trying a new dish then do have a chat with the staff about the flavours you enjoy, they will be bound to recommend a dish you've never thought of trying before. The Chicken Makhani is outstanding

Booked a table for 6, service was poor seemed short staffed. The takeaway business was very busy and at one time it was noticed that takeaways were going out by the dozen and all 14 people in the restaurant were not eating all had no food in front of them. When the food arrived it was average and had the curry revenge all day today. Will not be rushing back

We were visiting the local area for the weekend and stumbled upon the Jaipur almost by accident. As serious curry lovers, this ranked as one of the best. Service was polite, considerate and appropriately paced. We had a range of starters, all of which were great. The chicken shashlik was particularly good. One of the house specials , a main course, consisting of chicken breast stuffed with lamb, lamb tikka and king prawns in a fabulous sauce was amazing. The portion sizes were big and were more than enough to satisfy most appetites. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be returning.

I love this indian restaurant and go back time after time. The staff are always more than happy to help and get to know the types of food you like so the reccomend other dishes to try they think will suit your taste. The wine selection is very good and the food is always beautifully cooked. They also offer a take away service. Give this place a try, you won't regret it...

First time ive ever been to this restaurant. Went with my boyfriend and very good friends. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Will go here again .
