Friendly staff, delicious meals, good value. Will return soon. As always, a great visit. Suitable for all. The Thursday (and Sunday) deal still going at £15.95pp starter, main, side and drink included - great filling meal. Would recommend the Machli Tikka, very tasty salmon dish.

We visit market drayton 2 to 3 times a year. Last curry at oruna was in may this year. Once again fabulous food, excellent service. Will look forward to our next visit.

Originally called to order a takeaway but the friendly welcome prompted us to eat in . Food was excellent. A few different dishes to the usual run of the mill favourites. Relaxed atmosphere. Sensible prices. If it wasn't our last night in the area we'd definitely have returned.

Went for a friend’s birthday! The food was amazing. They really went out of their way to make my friend’s birthday special with birthday decorations and playing birthday music with the cake. Great service and really friendly waiters. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend highly enough! I organised a surprise party with some friends for one of my close friends. The servers were incredible, even putting on their acting skills to help the surprise run smoothly. The food was incredible, and the little touches they made, for example the decorations on the table before we came and the birthday music when the cake came out, made this a phenomenal experience. I would highly recommend, especially for larger groups celebrating an occasion, as they really cater for your specific needs on a level very few restaurants will! Thankyou for a great evening 😊

Very nice meal. This is now our second visit. There were 3 of us and we all went for a different version of the banquet. Probably the favourite was the mixed Balti. There was no lime pickle with the poppadums 😥 but I didn't ask.

I booked a table for 6 for my mom's 81st Birthday from the moment we walked in we had a warm welcome From Jak and Mo ,food was perfect ,Hot and full of flavour ,The service was fantastic and mo is very Knowledgeable as my sister can't eat certain foods with her dietary requirements and being Vegetarian at the end of the night we booked again for the 15th Anniversary so will look forward to another fantastic night ,Ive been going to Oruna for the last 11 years since i moved up from wolverhampton and wouldn't go anywhere else ,Certainly the Best curry in Market Drayton Many Thanks Tom

What a wonderful find. We went for a meal here with my brother-in-law, who is a local. The food was fantastic and the staff were very knowledgeable about my wife’s food intolerances and catered for her fine.

Great tasting curry always hit the spot. The Madras is very hot but I always seem to keep ordering it regardless as it’s a guilty pleasure. I feel this curry house is the best tasting around the Market Drayton area. Staff are always friendly when collecting food as usually we have takeaways.

Delicious curry served by very friendly and attentive staff. Good beer and wine. Reasonable price. Would recommend, happy that the restaurant was open when a few local venues were not serving food on a Tuesday evening.

The best curry house in Market Drayton. They’ve got an amazing menu with everything you could want. I wasn’t sure what to have, but after asking what I liked they created a dish for me. I’ve been quite a few times now bith sitting in and got a takeaway. Staff are super friendly, great service, amazing food at a good price. Delicious!

We got a table at the last minute and couldn't make our mind up on what we wanted to eat. Mo gave us a couple recommendations which were awesome. Food was epic, atmosphere great. Can't wait to come back.

Avoid. Ordered at 5:30 pm and keep being lied to about delivery. Still waiting now at 8 pm Late every time but this is just beyond belief Disgrace

Ordered food from here tonight, and we've had a terrible experience, and not for the first time, however I like to give people another chance when rectified, like it was before. Tonight the restaurant rang us to state the delivery was more than they usually charge us, giving the reason of our postcode, however this also differed from the advertised amount. Then they ring us and were incredibly rude to us, after they had sent the delivery driver to completely the wrong place, wasn't even close to where we live. Our address was clear on the order, and the same as where we have ordered to in the past. Which previously hasn't been a problem. The food was delivered two hours after we ordered, and we ordered as soon as Oruna opened. As a result the food was very cold when we managed to eat it, which is unfortunate because it probably would have tasted nice. Completely flabbergasted and disappointed at our experience tonight. I'd recommend the staff not making prices up as they go along, and not being rude to paying customers who are not being rude to you. Also don't charge more for a service than is advertised.

We went for a family meal, food was fabulous. There was a great selection of meals, everything was very fresh and tasty. Service was brilliant, very welcoming atmosphere. We're looking forward to going again.

what can I say lovely and welcoming . The food was amazing and reasonably priced. it was my first visit to a Indian restaurant now addicted. I can see why my late mum used to go on a Sunday once a month with her friends.

I have to say Oruna never disappoints. I have eaten off the regular menu many times and always 5 stars. But today i went and when I thought they couldn't do a better job BOOM. I started a vegan diet 5 days ago and was looking to stay on track. Omar was our host and he was 10 🌟 he recommended food that wasn't on the menu, so a big gamble. Starter and main were so delicious I think that from now on I will eat vegan food every time. Thank you Omar and your team you smashed it. See tou soon Richard.

Very friendly staff and great food

First time using this restaurant. Went on line to order, turned up to collect, was given a drink while I waited. Food was absolutely perfect. Next time we will come and visit and sit in for a meal. Very very good.

I have to say that this restaurant is at the top of their game! Everything from service to delivery was absolutely fantastic! I have now had 3 takeaways/delivery from here- if you have never been, you absolutely must try it! The food is not the best, but it's edible

Ten of us shared a family meal here on Wednesday evening during a family holiday. It’s the first time any of us have eaten here and I would unreservedly recommend it. The staff were polite and very accommodating. One of my pet hates is that restaurant food is often lukewarm - The food here was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!

We have to be honest we went to The Oruna because we’d been lazy and not booked our usual Indian restaurant and we ended up not being able to get a table. However, we found a warm welcome and a table at The Oruna. The service was great; very attentive and polite but not hovering over the table. We decided we couldn’t manage a starter so we just shared popadoms and onion bhajis. These were both cooked fresh and not precooked. Our main courses came out after we’d been asked if we were ready for them. This was a nice change - we weren’t rushed. Everything was piping hot. The chap that brought them warned us about the red hot plates and dishes. Both of our meals were delicious. We had nothing to moan about. From entering The Oruna to leaving the service was great. Everything we ordered was spot on. We were talking about our meal later and couldn’t understand why we’d not been to The Oruna for such a long time. This is a bad habit that we’re going to have to get out of….

I have been eating in at Oruna and having odd takeaways for nearly 15 years. Service is always attentive and on time. The Thursday and Sunday special offer is our families favourite deal. Oh and a free cheeky drink if they are really busy awaiting...

What a gem! Having been to Oruna several times now, every meal we have had has been great. Staff are polite, it's very clean and the food is authentic and full of flavour. Sunday and Thursday deals are really good value.

My husband and myself have been going to the Oruna on a regular basis for over 4 years, the staff are always polite and have a great knowledge of their dishes. The food is unquestionably delicious, great value and a nice variety to choose from.

First time I'd been here, and I'll certainly be going again. Clean, attractive restaurant. Impeccable service. Delicious food. And very reasonable prices.

Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery after being told upto 1 hour! There was not one hole popadom, just broken bits, only one mango when made a point of saying 2! The rest of the food was cold and had to be put in the microwave!!!! Phoned twice, after an hour “ the driver just left “ but still took another 40 minutes!! Will not be using again!😡

What a fabulous find this was. Sunday evening was the second time we have visited recently and the food, atmosphere and staff are all brilliant! Definitely recommend this place for an enjoyable evening. Well worth the trip from Whitchurch to Market Drayton. We will be back for more soon!

Don’t hAve the chicken tikka masala.. I just ordered one it has 4…. Yes 4 pieces of chicken and the sauce was watered down.. shocking .. I don’t believe this is home made it’s no better than a jar !!! And it’s expensive now .. poor show and we have been using u guys for a while .. I didn’t eat it and threw it away . Very poor

I have just finished a fabulous meal, full of flavour, the sort you wish you could eat twice . I had a delivery it arrived Hot, Fresh , and OH my goodness the taste WOW !!! I had Lamb. Mango Monsoon Egg fried Rice, and one Cheese and Onion Naan. Honestly I would order it again if I was not so full Thourghly recommend it

Perfection, every time. The best restaurant I have ever been to, reasonably priced. Try you won't be disappointed. Eat in the nicely kept restaurant or order a takeaway, by phone, online or local delivery.

It may have been my choice but I found the food a little bland, it lacked spices. The quiet ambience changed when a large party with young children arrived.

I should of looked at all the bad feedbacks before I eat in this terrible place Had a very bad experience in this place last night waited for over a hour for food we got drinks when we first sat down but by the time the food come we needed more so we asked a man if we can order he said 1 minute but he never did come back so I had to go upto the bar and ask someone to come and take our drinks order when the drinks come half was missing so back up to the bar again when the food did come out it was on a trolley for ages just sat in between the kitchen and the bathroom with people squeezing past it food was just OK when after 2 hours like we had I was just ready to leave so asked someone for the bill 20 minutes later no bill yes you guessed it back up to the bar to be told to go and sit down untill they add the bill up after another 10 mins we all just got up as if we was gonna leave then they finally come to us with the bill definitely won't return very bad experience
