New pancholi LTD in Dudley

Now called the Brierley Village and under new management, our first take away meal from here and we didn't know what to expect especially as the reviews looked a little "suspect". We ordered three completely different meals which went down well with mom, dad and daughter. The chips were a bit anaemic but we had no complaints with anything else. In fact it was so good that it could be our new regular. They have done a great job of the refurbishment and I can't wait to eat in. And a few months later we did. Parking can be a bit of a problem but it's worth the effort. They don't sell alcohol so take you will need to take your own. The dining room was nice and warm, clean and very well presented. The food is as good as the reviews and the service was helpful and friendly. The only downside for me was the menu is on a take away leaflet which was a bit small for me to read. I didn't really need it although they do have some interesting dishes that you could miss but I understand a new menu is on the way.

I visited this restaurant with my husband on Sunday 16th June 2019. It was pretty quiet, which is understandable for a Sunday evening. However the home delivery section was exceptionally busy, which is a good sign that the food is good. I didn’t order a starter as I don’t eat too much, however my husband did and loved it! I had a taste and was not disappointed. This was the best onion bharji I had tasted. It was light, crispy and fresh. For my main I would normally order chicken rezella as this is a great dish but decided after a great deal of thought and persuasion to order a Curryholic Mr John. WOW! This has got to be the most flavoursome dish I have ever tased! It was full of spice flavours, rich, dark and thick and I managed to eat it all! I will be ordering this again on my next visit! The staff are very friendly and informative and are willing to adapt a dish to your liking... many thanks New Pancholli :)

I prefer to eat in rather than take out for a few reasons, four of which are; I don't like washing up, delivery times are unreliable, kitchens rush at busy times and the food seems to taste better. It's been years since my last take away but circumstances dictated that I had to have one last Saturday night. I note a few negative reviews regarding take outs but that's common with all establishments. Cooking to order and getting it delivered is not as straightforward as it looks, chips become soggy, naan breads sweat and oil can separate in the curry. Reheating can then be hit and miss. I ordered by phone and picked up from the restaurant. Absolutely no complaints about the quality of the food, all was as good as experienced in the restaurant. I have had written a few positive reviews regarding this place and that is because I haven't had a bad experience rather than any favouritism. Check out my other reviews.

After 2 mess ups on orders it's safe to say never ordering again! Scores on the doors says it all. There are plenty of Curry Restaurants better in the area with 5 Rating. And better customer skills...Order at own risk!

I have been on my travels and not visited the Pancholi for some time. I have noticed a few poor reviews recently but they do look a bit suspicious to me. Like the majority of "Indian" restaurants mid week it was very quiet but I see they are using it to their advantage and doing a few alterations. It will be a lot better when finished. The meal was as good as expected, I can honestly say that I can't find a restaurant that serves a more flavoursome dish than their rezalla or curryholic and that includes a recent trip to India. I keep trying others but so far it's been in vain. Parking can be a bit of a pain but I need the exercise. You can take your own alcohol but they are also licensed.

Ordered previously and we thought we would give it another go. How wrong could we have been, food was awful.There was a funny tang to the massala, chips were like rubber and the poppadoms were that stale that I could fold them without them breaking. not to mention the undercooked rice! WONT BE GOING BACK AGAIN!

Just had a meal at the new pancholi I must say it was fantastic. service was very quick and staff really pleasant and friendly the food was the best Indian cuisine I've had in a long time so tasty didn't want it to end. And price was very good In all a very lovely meal and I will definitely be going back 10out of 10 for me

11 of us went. Very friendly staff. Everyone quite enjoyed their meal but mine was the worst curry I’d ever had. I wouldn’t return but some in our party said it was okay and may return

Quite a good meal, fairly priced. Owner was a bit all over us like a rash but that aside, will come again.

Had heard good things about here so I tried a takeaway as hubby isn't a fan of Indian food. Wow it was a taste explosion. Everything tasted amazing with a depth of flavour. Loved it all. Currently talking hubby into taking me here!

Nice cosy restaurant, offers a variety of dishes. A good variety for both meat and vegetarian eaters. The owner was very polite and showed respect to all his guests/customers. Popadom and pickle tray yummy. Fresh and crisp. Amzing new sauce, never eaten and wow so fresh and creamy. "Thank you for the extra sauce" Food was not greasy. Very tasteful and fresh. Can take your own drinks too. Hot towels at the end amazing. Lovely place we will be back. Thank you

We decided to eat here following the positive reviews on trip advisor and what a great decision that turned out to be. We received such a warm welcome upon arrival and were made to feel as if we were old friends. The food was really delicious with such a depth of flavour, the portion sizes were generous and very reasonably priced. We hope to be back very soon to this unique and lovely Restaurant. This second time we've had a delivery food came quiet quick and was pipping hot I struggle eating take away Indian food but as like last weekend end my partner and I enjoyed it all definately recommend it and definately will order again

Went with a friend recently to dine here. My friend had the chicken tikka masala, I had chicken jalfrezi. Both meals were delicious And very large portions too! Would Def recommend.. 5*****. WOW small well set out restaurant very friendly staff and front of house and good choice of food . Myself and phill both ordered the tikka platters witch we were promised would be a taste sensation we had never tasted before and the waiter was not wrong we enjoyed every part of it we then eagerly awaited our main course (vindaloo & lamb garlic chilli) witch again was sublime absolutely blown away and exceeded expectation and all this including a pickle tray, 4 pints , sundries and hot refreshment towels at a very modest price would return here without hesitation and recommend highly

It may not be perfect but I don't know of a restaurant that does a more flavoursome curry. The rezalla really is something else. If it's heat you want then their Naga chilli is in a league of it's own. They have just hired an elite team of decorators to give it a face-lift.

Found this Indian restaurant on trip advisor and very pleased we went there. Food was excellent and the staff are very friendly and chatty. Would visit again if we return to this area. Five stars from us.

Haven't visited but use their delivery service regularly. The food is lovely, reasonably priced, and delivered promptly! Would recommend!

Had a meal here in the week and the food and service was excellent, so decided to take a meal home to eat later in the week and can only say that was excellent too. From the minute you book a table the service is so good, and all the staff are welcoming, I could go on and on but please try this place and I hope you have the same experience my family & I had .

I can't keep writing great reviews about this place otherwise I'll be accused of being on the payroll. To be clear I try to tell it like it is. Parking is a bit awkward, the room a bit dark and all else is excellent. Obviously this depends on the style of the food you like but as Megan said "it's all about the taste" and she should know.

On Tuesday 26th June 2018 my wife and I visited New Pancholi in brierley hill on the recommendation of friends,On entering the restaurant we were greeted by Khairol whom was very friendly and polite ,we ordered our starters and when they arrived they were well presented and to a very high standard we were asked if we would like a few minutes before our main meal which we thought was nice in the meantime we met Ahmed the owner and had a lovely conversation with him too,he asked us too give him a honest opinion about the food so we did the Keema naan was of a good size but no filling and he was grateful that we told him ,so if you want lovely food nice surroundings try New Pancholi you won’t be disappointed we will definitely be going back Thankyou H and San

we came across this little gem of a restaurant by chance. we are sisters from Birmingham on a spa break we have many lovely restaurants in Birmingham but this had got to be one if not the best we have tried. Food fantastic so tasty food portions great. lovely atmosphere and friendly staff family run business we will definitely be going again you must try superb!! 2 hospital sisters said thanks for a lovely meal.

Following the normal family debate about what and where shall we eat today, I came across review for this restaurant on the internet and suggested we give it a try. After more debate, we all agreed. Well what a decision. We all agreed that this was one of the best Indian meals we have had in a long time and as regular partakers of some of the best restaurants in Stourbridge and Lye, that's no empty statement. Service was top draw also. I strongly recommend trying the New Pancholi. You will be pleasently surprised.

People in the pub raving about this place so thought I’d give it a go. Absolutely superb. Big portions, plenty of meat, full of flavor. The ordering system was revolutionary for your typical takeaway, build your order, payment options including PayPal and a collection time!!! It’s about time that someone took the initiative to improve on the takeaway experience. Well done !!!!

The food was amazing and not at all greasy. Amir and his staff couldn't do more to ensure we had a fantastic time. We loved it so much we went back the following night for our anniversary when we were treated like royalty. Looking forward to our next visit.

Been to here a few times for a sit in and a takeaway . Food has always been excellent. Staff are friendly I've just had the best lamb bhuna ever . Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We’ve had 3 home deliveries from this restaurant.. each 1 was delivered hot, tasty and on time. So we decided to pay them a visit.. from entering we were treated like we were the only people in the restaurant.. it was clean and well laid out, excellent waiter service, nothing was too much trouble, food was beautiful, staff are really attentive, and pricing was really good.. we will definitely have these on speed dial

I haven’t written many reviews, but felt I had to after visiting New Pancholi. This restaurant is well worth a visit. My husband and I had a very tasty curry. I had the best Bhuna I have ever had and we eat out every week! The North Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken with spinach is a must according to my husband. The staff are friendly and helpful; the owner cannot do enough for you and knows his menu. They do serve alcohol however you can take your own! If you like red wine, the Tamarind Garden is a beautiful smooth red which compliments a curry. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are rather big. Parking on the main road can be a pain but there is a car park nearby however we use the side streets. Thank you New Pancholi - we will be back!

Visited this place on the recommendation of a friend , arrived on a Saturday evening to find we were the only people in there, ordered the starters which arrived quickly , I had a sheek kebab that had obviously been microwaved and my partner had onion bhajis which were rock hard and not fresh, I opted for a garlic chilly chicken and naan which looked like a cow pat when it arrived, it was so greasy I could almost see my reflection in it , the naan bread was similar to a supermarket bought one and tasted stale , my partners main dish looked exactly the same as mine without the garlic and was just as greasy, drinks were overpriced too.. on the bright side the staff were friendly.. shall not be returning..

A group of 13 of us visited it for the 1st time (with the exception of 2) and I am sure I can speak for us all this was quite a fantastic experience for us. Yes its Brierley Hill and not some up market area however the food was delicious and the waiters and staff could not be more attentative and extremely welcoming, you can see they really want to try to impress. The food was very fresh and to be honest a bargain. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thankyou so much and look forward to seeing you very soon.

Ordered a take away last Sunday. Can quite honestly say it's the most disgusting food I've ever eaten. Chips were raw and greasy. Curries were swimming in oil. I ordered a mild curry that was extremely spicy!! The nann was dry and inedible and my partner was extremely ill after eating his. Actually convinced that the food we received was reheated from the day before. The poppadoms tasted oily and were freezing. It was absolutely not fresh food. Will not be using again. Did not contact the restaurant as I did not want it replaced with more vile food.

The only reservation I had was that they were licensed which I thought might lose them some custom to nearby unlicensed restaurants. It appears that they also thought the same and now you can take your own alcohol. I really do like this place.

The wife and I returned recently and had exactly the same excellent experience as before. Food & service are great plus nothing is too much trouble for these guys.

We ordered a take away from here for the first time. When it came it was very hot, large portions and very tasty. The food was cooked lovely and we would recommend to anyone. We will also use as a regular take away now.

A lovely restaurant with great service and quality food. If you were a Dine regular and haven't been yet, we strongly recommend you do. It's Dine with added extra! We shall definitely be returning and this is now our favourite Indian restaurant in Brierley Hill again. Thank you New Pancholi.

This place is super!! Super sized meals and super delicious food. Friendly service couldn’t do enough. Can not wait to go back and already arranged our girls Xmas outing here!! Cant wait 😋

ordered food from here 3 times now and can honestly say don't think i'd bother going anywhere else now. each time food has arrived on time and piping hot. rice portions enough for 2 and main meals as well! if you order through restaurant and pay cash upon delivery you can get 20% discount although i think this may be reducing to 15% now?

Visited here tonight with my partner about hlf 9 we were given a table without any issue what so ever (they do takeaway as well) we ordered a couple of dishes to share and it was all lovely especially the paneer it was the best iv ever had, plenty of meat in the dishes and good sized portions (we had to get a doggy bag to take the rest home) there fully licenced as well so can get a drink there, it was our first time here and will certainly go back again and will definitely recommend to friends ☺️

Omg we went to new pancholi on the basis of the reviews on tripadvisor and boy were they right.we had a very enjoyable evening from start to finish everything from attentative service thru very tasty food ,large portions,excellent value and classy surroundings.I can,t praise Ahmed [hope I got the spelling right] and his staff enough.I will definitely return and have already recommended this restaurant to friends and family.Keep up your very high standards.

The best curry I have had in a while, large portions, good quality and really tasty, too much to finish. We all had poppadoms, a starter and main, all different and all excellent. Will definitely be going back.

I feel I have been a bit too generous in the rating of some restaurants recently but you have to be realistic in your expectations and nowhere is perfect. Unfortunately for them I may have to review these ratings as the New Pancholi has just "set the bench mark".

Only been open about 3 days, so I have the pleasure of the first review! I've always thought you can tell a really good Indian restaurant by its chicken madras. So. Starters. 3 poppadums, 2 plain and 1 massala, with onion salad, mango chutney and mint sauce. Now, I was slightly put off by the colour of the mint sauce but trying it - wow that has some bite! And the mint sauce dish had to be refilled, it was so good. Poppadums were really good, will certainly have the massala ones again.
