Early delivery, hot food and extremely tasty.

Honestly very mediocre I paid for a cheese and garlic naan never had any cheese on was very thick bread , the chicken balti tasted fruity and sweet very strange . Balti meat madras quit plain. Meat nice though 4/10 👍 . Won’t be ordering again.

Loved the food here, but have since found out it only has a hygiene rating of 2 so please Chinnar, get your hygiene rating higher and I will return. The hygiene rating are now a 3 star so 1 more and I will return.

Had such an amazing meal tonight. Staff really friendly and so attentive too. So surprised how quiet it was to be honest, on a Friday eve. Decor a little dated but that doesnt matter for me it was clean and tidy which does matter. We were served poppadoms and onions without being asked or charged. Asked for extra dips for poppados which were delicious. I had the chicken kahrai oh my goodness wow it was amazing it was so tasty and the tarka dhal a little spicy but delicious. Hubby had chicken jalfrezi did it was nice. We also had mushroom rice and cheese and garlic naan. All food was piping hot and freshly made. So cheap too obviously being able to take own drinks makes it a lot cheaper than other restaurants. Left over food packed up quickly without issue. Thanks for great eve.

First time ordering from here, delivery was 10 minutes early, delivery driver was very pleasant, food was piping hot, massive portions and quality was 10/10. Definitely will order again.

Fab Food, always delivered quickly and staff very polite. Generous portions of tasty quality food. Recommend onion bahji, chicken tikka massala and the fish.

Everything was great as always but this time I paid for extra poppadoms and actually only received 1 popadom so I didn’t even receive the extra I paid for or 1 for each for me and my partner

Got to be fake reviews. Terrible quality of food disgusting. Chips were stale, naan was crispy and falling apart?? Why did my tikka taste like lemon and look like water? Avoid. Oh and just found out they got 2* rating. Won’t be ordering again

The Lamb curry tasted great, but spoilt by the lamb being overcooked and hard.

Great flavours. Happy attentive staff. Value prices. We don't need to drink alcohol so the lack of it (free bottle of water) was of no consequence.

The chinnar has been my favourite takeaway restaurant for over 5 years and have always found the food outstanding but now I'm in a dilemma, I've just found out it only has a hygiene rating of 2 which totally shocked me, I now don't know what to do as I would never normally order from any restaurant with a hygiene rating of anything under a 4 rating .

From ordering our food to it being delivered and us eating it was about half an hour. Our food was absolutely delicious and hot. It's consistently really goood! Delivery driver was as always lovely. Highly recommend it to you all!

Absolutely lovely. My only gripe and it’s a very minor one is that even though we spent over £52, they don’t include complimentary poppadoms like other restaurant’s, Won’t stop us ordering again though and next time we’ll remember to order them.

brilliant service on new years eve! expected delays due to being one of the busiest nights of the year. But the Chinnar failed to disappoint once again, providing a 5 star service, arriving exactly on the time requested. food was hot and the quality was as good as it always is. Main meal was great as usual. The Nan was a little thin and overdone in places. Would be nice for it to be a bit thicker.

Food was early. But I have to say it was of such poor quality we barely ate any of it and threw it away. So disappointed, no flavour at all in either of our meals, will never eat from here again.

Been several times and the food is amazing, i dont know what they do different but even the korma is sooo nice. The service is always excellent. Love popping in for a quick meal We now eat here every other wednesday and the food is always fantastic and so is the service.

Went for a buffet on Monday, great value for money. The food was hot and tasty, the staff were friendly also and made you feel welcome.

Very watery curries. Items that shouldn’t be spicy (dahl, samosa, Bombay aloo etc) all v spicy with no warning that it would be the case. Overall disappointing.

We have been going to Chinar forever taking our children, then Grandchildren and now Great Grandchildren!! foods is excellent, service is the best and feel like you are one of the family.

The food was tasteless it had no flavour at all. When I arrived at restaurant to collect I was on time however it was sitting on the counter by the front entrance getting cold when I actually opened the food 10 mins later all the food was stone cold. Even the papadum was soft and stale. The whole experience was awful and a complete waste of money. If you want good food I suggest you don’t get your food from here. I would have gone back and asked for a refund but honestly I couldn’t be bothered to make the return trip to the restaurant (and that’s a term I use loosely). Go somewhere else DO NOT EAT FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!

Friendly efficient staff. Good service, great food and very reasonable. Free water. No hand tissues after though. Will definitely go again and you take your own drink.

2nd time ordering from Chinnar, first time was excellent and this time was just as amazing! All three of us said how beautiful it was, chicken organ josh for my Parents and a chicken pathia for me. Absolutely stunning and full of flavour. My keema naan was lovely too, not thick and greasy like most places and it was well stuffed too. Delivery was bang on time too! Thank you very much 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Ordered a takeaway. Chicken tikka masalla and got a red sloppy soup which was tasteless and chicken that wasn't chicken tikka. Red bits in the soup. Nasty. Chicken tikka Balti, which was an onion gravy with chicken that wasnt chicken tikka. Naan breads not very good and dry. Only ordered as the reviews were good but my food was not good.

chicken tika balti sauce was like water and hot like a madras, egg fried rice wasnt mixed through all on one side,, keema nan just had little bits on top , not great for me

I couldn't forget the first time I had the food from here. It's delicious! That's why I'm order AGAIN - same dishes I had last time. Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed. None of them is spicy. I couldn't believe all curry is not spicy. I wish the dishes is missing the hot stuff only. Not under the new management.
