Bean & Brunch in Coventry

Good service, friendly staff. Smoked bacon which is unusual but tasty. Eggs poached as standard however they are overcooked unfortunately. Teapigs tea served which is very nice. Cakes look amazing although I didn’t try them.

My favourite place to pop in for breakfast and lunch in Coventry. Great service and food is always good. They always make my omlete extra special with chili.

The food at this little cafe is outstanding. Great service prices and cakes. Coffee fantastic. Whenever I am in Coventry city centre I have my lunch here or just coffee.

Really fancied tea and cakes, I went to order and noticed fresh baked scones so had a pot of tea and a scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. The scone was still warm and texture and taste was fantastic, I asked where did they come from and found their chef made them that morning “well done Balan” just a tip get in before 15:00 as some items will sellout👍

Went in on Friday, ordered 1 veggie breakfast and a meat fry up, they gave me 2 meat breakfasts and forgot the toast. My wife and I travelled specifically for the veggie breakfast as she’d read good reviews we got home and we realised that both breakfasts where with pork in and my wife doesn’t touch pork for religious reasons. Both breakfasts where missing toast and so we called up. The rude manager laughed and didn’t care but refused to offer a full refund or even to give us a fresh breakfast and when we went back told my wife that “she and her kind aren’t welcome back” ( I assume this was directed at her race as she’s black)! Disgusted and will be taking this further!

Came here for the first time last week after walking past it so many times. Wished I'd come sooner, really nice coffee and the best carrot cake I've tasted in ages! The cafe has lovely decor and relaxed atmosphere. Great to support independent cafes, too many big companies in the centre

We did get a table at 2pm and both ordered the lasagna with salad and garlic bread. Really delicious and filling, great value £5.50. We will be going back👍

I am not normally one to write reviews but after this lovely breakfast, hot coffee and lovely service this morning I couldn't not. Great value for money will definatelly be back. Can't believe its ratings are not higher. Thank you Bean and Brunch

Great breakfast and a really good cup of coffee. The small breakfast was just the right size for my little girl. The selection of cakes looked amazing and will have to come back for one of those. Also noticed when an older lady came in for a cup of tea the staff offered a paper cup as the normal mugs were fairly hefty and she might have struggled to lift them. That was great customer service I thought and very personal service.

Lovely place had a super breakfast served by a lovely young lady very attentive the food was fresh and hot great price too. These independent places need support they deserve it. The cakes looked very appealing. And checked the menu they do some nice food all st great prices. I never leave tips in cafes but did here. Sad I forgot to take pictures but it's just before the market oposite home bargains there gave them a mention too.

My friend and I had lunch today. We both chose buff lasagne and it was the best I’ve taste anywhere. It was served with a salad and garlic bread. We will be back again soon, the only thing we found annoying was the background music that is so repetitive and asked the server Bianca to mention this to the manager. Maybe some Italian music. Great food, service and price.

The coffee is the highlight for me - It’s great to see speciality coffee in an affordable cafe. Square Mile Coffee is a personal favourite and the Red Brick blend is great as an espresso or base for milk drinks. The food is also very good for the price. No complaints at all!

Excellent value for money. Excellent food Excellent coffee. My wife assures me the Tea was Marvellous. Friendly staff. Owner has a passion for what is delivered to your table. We have been several times and the quality is always consistent.

Stopped in here for a toastie and a cup of tea. The packed space speaks for itself! Freshly prepared toastie and the tea was great. There’s a huge range of food options for breakfast/brunch/lunch so I’ll definitely be back.
