Nashaa in Coventry

We went to their new venue hipswell highway. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was quite quick and very friendly. Our only (small) gripe was the laclof proper heating, but they made a huge effort with small space heaters. An altogether good experience and we will be repeating it soon!

Do not visit...very rude male taking orders and seating people on dirty used tables with curry stains on table cloth from previous eaters. Very unprofessional, no manners and wrong attitude. Customers should be able to decide how many dishes to order and ask for mild or less spicy not be told how much to order or say "I'm not the chef"!! Please avoid completely. Would never ever return or recommend. It's sad one member of staff can ruin the whole restaurants reputation. 1st impressions count so please have some respect for your customers.

I travel around the canal system so have the opportunity to sample many takeaways so am able to make comparisons. Nashaa is easily accessible from the canal at Hawksbury, a friendly greeting on entering the restaurant with pleasant decor, As a boring old guy I ordered my usual which was prepared quickly. The food quality was Very good, full of flavour, the portions were OK but was comparatively expensive to other places also disappointingly the dishes were presented in plastic containers I would have preferred foil for environmental reasons.

Fabulous food, so fresh and good quality. Nice to try sone new dishes we'd not seen anywhere else. H IS THE HOST WITH THE MOST! A random punt as we were in the area and fancied a curry that really paid off. Can't recommend enough.

Went in the other night with some work colleagues and had a great meal. Lad front of house is excellent.

A great curry house with a fantastic array of dishes available. Very flavourful and good portion sizes. Really good price too. We had lamb sheesh kebab to start and an excellent rawal pindi for mains with very soft and fresh garlic nan. The waiter was really pleasant and polite, with just the right amount of interaction and advice on food & drink. Perfect after a long working day!

The food is delicious and the hospitality is warm. It's great to have them back open after all the lockdown nonsense.

When staying at the Ricoh arena we found Nashaa & enjoyed the 2 house special dishes as well as the homemade sauces on the pickle tray and freshly made naans for an authentic experience

Authentic homemade signature dishes and sauces from an excellent restaurant. Well worth the walk from the Doubletree to enjoy great local Indian cuisine in a calm pleasant environment

Unfortunately we were disappointed with the meal we had here. We thought we’d go again as it’s number 3 in Coventry for Indians so we thought maybe it had improved. It really was disappointing. The lamb was over cooked and chewy and the veg dishes were bland and not very nice. The rice was fine and the curry sauce was nice but the naan was doughy. The hand dryer didn’t work and there was no toilet roll in the womens loo. No hand towels given at end of the meal. I wouldn’t really recommend this place. It was quiet in there so attention to detail could be improved. It was quite pricey for what it was. They could at least not charge for poppadoms or at least remove the charge for the tray. Lovely people but just needs improvement.

Came here with my husband for dinner. Poppadoms were stale. My curry was so sweet not how the dish should be cooked. It tasted artificially sweetened. The naan bread was fine and hard. It tasted like it was from Tesco. No atmosphere. It was freezing cold in the restaurant. The waiter stared at us the whole time we were in there, it made me feel rather uncomfortable. I will not be returning.

Went without a booking and there was space available. The staff were very helpful and polite and very willing to cook to the heat we liked. I ordered shakari lamb which was delicious and the sauce was very rich and nicely spiced. My partner had a king prawn pathia which had loads of prawns in and very tasty.

Pathetic.. dont have any option than 1 star for them, told them if this is your behaviour won’t come again, the guy in the reception told me no need for coming later .. so cruel behaviour ..what a way to treat the customer..

Visited as a party of three, and was very much looking forward to a wholesome Indian meal. Poppadoms arrived very promptly which was good. Ordered drinks and found my draught Cobra was totally flat and tasteless so I took it back to the bar and requested a bottle of Kingfisher instead. Starters were perhaps the highlight, arrived hot and sizzling on a skillet. My main objection is I felt rushed, my order was taken when I was not quite ready, I was told more then once the kitchen is closing yet it was fairly early and we was seated by around 9:15pm. I prefer to enjoy my starter and then order my main but this was not possible as I was told my whole order needed to be taken together. How can you possibly know how hungry you will be as the starters may be small? Large? So how could you possibly know how many mains etc to order?? Anyway what made matters worse was I was still eating my starters and the Mains were brought to the table ready to be served?? I thought it common courtesy for Mains to be served once starters had been consumed and cleared off the table. I did feel needlessly rushed. The mains itself was ok, but the naan bread served with it was dry and burnt, did have to request butter just to help soften it up. Quite hard to justify in excess of £3.00+ for a single naan which was tiny in size and quite frankly a Tesco naan would have tasted better (and more then likely twice the size) We left somewhat disappointed. I did bring the poor quality naan to the attention of the main waiter but he was very dismissive saying the chef was rushed. Rushed?? We were the only diners in the restaurant! I did also point out we felt rushed, which we genuinely was, again the staff member quite dismissive. I did point out the hospitality business was not always about the food but the service and the whole experience was important too. In this day and age when people perhaps are going out a bit more infrequently this has even more context. There is plenty of other options where to spend you're hard earned money for a quality meal where perhaps you would be more appreciated as a paying customer. To top it all off I was still charged for the draught Cobra I returned back to the bar after one sip!!! And yes I asked this to be refunded..!!

We were just passing by but we were attracted by the smell of Indian food. Luckily we entered and we had a great meal! Waiters were really kind and nice. A great food and service!

I’d eaten at this restaurant along time ago i thought it was great. However i was shocked to read food safety standards are poor It was so nice ive often thought of going back but not now 🥵

We visited on a quiet weekday evening and found the staff welcoming and friendly. The portions were substantial. What be dropped one star because my balti was too salty for my taste. YMMV but I will be back to try again.

First time I have ordered from here. So glad I did as it was one of the best curries I have ever had. Fresh, well cooked and great flavours. I ordered a Balti vindaloo but unlike most other restaurants who flood it with chilli powder this had all the taste of a balanced Balti expertly cooked and made to taste great. Will definitely order again 👍👌🏻🍻

I dined in the Longford road Nashaa on the 16/08/2022.i personally , couldn't fault the place . Atmosphere , drinks , food , service all excellent.cant recommend it highly enough.well worth a visit for 5 star quality food .

As long standing and very happy customers of Nashaa Longford we were delighted to discover Nashaa Wyken this evening after missing our Nashaa and experience for the last 2 years!! Bob and his team lived up to our fond memories of fantastic service and exceptional food. The decor is stylish and welcoming, value for money is excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Myself and my colleague were working in Coventry and fancied trying something different from the hotel restaurant. I found this place purely by chance, so we visited tonight. I’m glad we did, it was amazing. The staff are very attentive and polite and the food was excellent. I wanted something with a kick, so opted for the Naga chicken dish which was everything I had hoped. I really cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you’re in the area, give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Me and my partner enjoy visiting Nashaa and visit quiet often, and even though we do not tend to book a table, the guys here will try their best to accommodate us whenever possible.

I have visted Nashaa 3 times in the last 6 months. Service has always been excellent, food has always been good although a little pricey but drinks especially soft drinks are extortionate prices!!

Summary: Extremely motivated staff. Authentic taste. A bit expensive. Small portions (compared to Indian restaurants in Germany). I am a German engineer on a business trip. I enjoyed the very motivated and friendly staff. I also enjoyed the hot and wet towel with a lemon scent, that I got after the meal. I don't like the pricing strategy, where rice is not included in the main dishes. If you order rice, than that's more than 2 pounds (a cup full of rice). Maybe this is standard in the UK 🇬🇧. I recommend to trust the restaurant's classification system regarding what is a spicy / hot dish and what is a mild dish :).

We visited Nashaa yesterday evening for a meal and drinks. The atmosphere was lovely, staff we’re extremely friendly and helpful and the food was AMAZING! It was even better that both Quorn and Paneer were on the menu as we are both vegetarian and usually end up with the ‘vegetable’ Option being the only one for us. The prices were very reasonable and if we’re in the area again then I’m sure we would come back to eat here again.

Even though there were9 of us on our group on a busy Friday night the sevices we had was excellent even drinks brought to our table. The food was served quickly and the quality and flavour were excellent. A very good restaurant highly recommended from...

Great choice of curry and great service.

Myself and my colleagues tried a range of dishes and naan breads and all were very tasty with a good hit of chilli heat where advertised. Service was friendly also and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere even on a Monday night.

It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we couldn't fault it.

From the moment we walked through the door we were treated like family friends. The service was second to none and the food was all served hot and arrived all together, superb quality and delicious taste. We will be back. Thank you for making it a special evening

Staff were attentive right from when we walked through the door. They were extremely welcoming and offered great service. The food was obviously cooked fresh and not reheated. Lots of flavour and a good portion size. My Mum and Dad ate here for the first time last week and I know think we have found a family favourite. We will be back.

Really really good currywell packaged and tasty

My colleagues and I visited on a Monday night, having set up an exhibition stand in the nearby Ricoh Arena. It was a repeat of the previous year and the food quality and flavours were excellent once again. The four of us had lamb dishes, Saagwala and Achiri, accompanied by roti, peshwari naan, Bombay Aloo and Bindi Bhaji, preceded by excellent popadoms and pickles. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal, which was promptly and politely served, I’m tempted to make a special journey, rather than wait until next year!

Waiters were good, service was faultless. Only Cobra on tap, but a very nice pour. The main courses and nanns were lovely and piping hot when they bought them out. The mix grill was disappointing, the lamb felt like I was eating rubber. The restaurant ambience wasn't great, had to get them to make it brighter because it was so dark we couldn't even read the menus - mood lighting taken too far. Also the restaurant was very cold which didn't make our meal comfortable. On balance I probably wouldn't go back again.

From the minute the front door was opened and we were welcomed it set a high standard which never dipped. The lads was extremely welcoming for all our needs. Food was perfectly served and cooked. Even hot towels and mint chocs after. Highly recommend. Gents if your after brownie points, you will gain some taking the wife here.

I went in here, early on a lovely sunny evening. The restaurant was full of sun, and only 4 other people were in it. I was led to a dark alcove, which was right in front of the kitchen. So, the staff were going in and out behind the back of my chair. Clearly, it had been decided that I was NOT a valuable customer.

Front of house is a bit basic looking and coming in I was a bit worried initially, but this is a place where all the effort goes on the food, which is as it should be. Dips had excellent pickle with very fresh and precisely chopped onion and coriander. Onion Bahji had a lovely salad with nice contrasting colours. I had a chicken chilli masala which was one of the best curries I have had, I could have licked the plate. The chicken was very tender, and the sauce had clearly reduced for a long time with fantastic flavour intensity. Plus custom naans- I had garlic, cheese and chilli. The service is so polite and friendly you can't help leaving with a smile on your face. Brilliant. My new favourite restaurant.

Popped in here for a takeaway after a few months away as I now live in tamworth, the staff are just brilliant, the guy remembered me and said straight away you don't need the menu your having the pathia aren't you, he was spot on, and what a curry it was, fresh, flavoursome and the perfect amount of spice, by far my favourite Indian, you just need to open one in tamworth

I ordered many things and loved them all! From the popadoms, naans and mouth watering curries to the delicious chocolate samosas!!

Need quality time with eldest daughter. We went to Naasha restaurant. The curry was amazing. It cooked properly like indian curry should be cooked. My daughter loved her chicken tikka Masala and I asked curry to be cooked how I would cook at home. Wow it was amazing. Thank you for cooking an amazing curry.

Visited Nashaa with friends to celebrate a friends birthday. Although we had not been for a while we always had super service so was pleasantly surprised to see that their service had not change nor had the food. Great choice of food and very knowledgeable staff who offered great recommendations yet still took your opinions into consideration to make sure you got what you wanted.The quality of the food, taste , service and atmosphere all made for a fantastic evening !!

Popped into Nashaa on Sunday evening with my wife and my sister and can honestly say we had a great time. Very warm welcome, great interaction with the water who was knowledgeable and helpful in every way. Fast food delivery and great quality too. Tandoori sizzling fish was delicious.

We have ordered twice here now and both meals were delicious. I had Lamb Chazni this time and Lamb Rogon before. Lamb melts in your mouth, no fat. Best lamb I've had from a takeaway in a long time and Im really fussy about meat.Staff are friendly and courteous.
