Visiting from Seattle, Washington USA and was brought to this beautiful restaurant for dinner. The ambience was outstanding and what an amazing elegant setup. The food was exquisite with rich flavoring. I had the Butter Chicken which by far is the best i have ever tasted in America. Top service with such friendly & knowledgeable staff. Thank you so much for such a beautiful evening!

This was a surprise birthday celebration, also an engagement proposal. I have to say here and now that the atmosphere and restaurant layout provided an excellent evening. The food along with an excellent team of staff delivered second to none 👏 well done!! Thank you.

Food was hot and fresh Crispy popadoms on the house came with fresh salad and sauces I ordered king prawn starter, lightly spiced fragrant, lamb and potato curry, dhall and rice Even a dessert - ice cream I enjoyed it all Service was great. Lovely waiter Good communication

Chicken tikka was off, my pregnant sister ate that chicken and we are extremely worried about her health. I mean you sell 2 days old chicken thats fine but please dont sell 5 days old chicken without maintaining uk standards. If you cant be honest and sell good food you should shutdown

Best food, service and view in Kovalem. You must go to this place. We were staying at the Leela and we were delighted when we found this place just off Leela beach. You can get a tuk tuk there. The view and location is spot on. The food is the best we have had in Kovalem!!

I live in worcester and when ever I'm over this way I always eat there, even if I'm on my own, great staff and the food is amazing. Just can't say enough for this place

Consistently excellent food and service. Went with family. Had 5 great curries, including a Saag Aloo as a main. Great, fresh naans, mostly garlic but also a cheese naan. All the rices, pilau, fried and egg were perfectly cooked and generous in size. Everything was really tasty and perfectly spiced, not too hot but they will make hotter if that’s your thing. Service is friendly and attentive. Ali runs a great restaurant and we are glad to be regulars. Thank you

We order a takeaway and it took over an hour to arrive. The food was bland and not much meat. Onion bhagi were bland as well. No free poppadoms even though our order was over £40

Waited almost 2 hours for delivery of an overly salted watery curry with not very nice tasting chicken. Would not eat here again, disappointed after reading such good reviews, even if having a bad/busy night I don’t think it should have been this bad

Ordered a delivery last night, 2 out of the 4 family members have got food poisoning today both ate chicken balti, last time is wasn’t the best either but we gave it another try. DO NOT ORDER CHICKEN FROM ALIS. Not impressed at all

Came here on my own for a curry and was really pleased! A rich sauce with a really tasty, intense flavour to it. The chicken was also really nice and moist. The Naan accompanied it really well too. The curry was the garlic chilli kundah. For rice naan and curry, with a drink. It cost £16 so really good value for money considering the food was ace!

Lovely food delivered quickly and was piping hot all the way through, will deffo be ordering from here again thank you for such tasty food & putting extras in for us👍👍👍

Best tasting food I've had for a long time. Highly recommend and has just turned into my favorite Indian takeaway. Just one small thing was the naan bread was a little to share but don't take that as a negative as they were spot on. Definitely recommend this place but 2 naan breads if your sharing. 5* plus some. Well done guys you're food is spot on.

It's a 5 from me and 4 from the wife as her chicken was a little dry. I had chicken tikka in my pathis, and she had plain chicken in her curry. Apart from that everything else was excellent although the chips could be better. I really like the place it's a bit different from your usual and being able to take your own alcohol is always a bonus but it was a bit disappointing that some feel they can take their own soft drinks. The service is really friendly and more than happy to help. Well worth a visit but it is cash only.

Food was fantastic cook fresh, the nan bread was really nice and the service outstanding staff could not do enough for you, this is one of the cleanest places i have eaten at really enjoyed it. Will defiantly be going back

the quality never alters, the grandkids absolutely love it here, any occasion, its Ali,s Kitchen,this is how a restaurant should be , cracking atmosphere, attentive waiters, and the food is wonderful , there,s been a lot of hard work put into this place and it shows, , its a take your own drinks place, but there is a drinks store about 30 yards away, as we say in our part of the world BOSTIN

What an amazing hidden gem this restaurant is. From the moment you walk through the door you are greated to a warm welcome and second to none 1st class service throughout the whole of the evening. The menu is full of amazing dishes. My requested dish was full of flavour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The masala chips are to die for and a must along with the cheesy nann bread. 1st rate service and food make this my favourite place to eat. 10/10Can't wait to go back.Thank you Ali and your team.

No taste I think they have changed chef I had a madras it was watery water all over the plate lamb was chewy it was like an Asda curry

Was recommended but won’t have a takeaway again- a chapati that was more like a popodum it was that dry and a Balti that was spiced more like a madras. 4 prawns only in a jalfrezi! Rice was barely warm! What a waste of money

Food was OK but was a lot nicer before it opened to a restaurant aswel. Always have take away and used these all the time since it turned into a restaurant instead of just a takeaway food has gone down hill. Food was OK but NOT really nice as before which is disappointing. I use somewhere else now and they a lot better and more value for money

First visit here tonight to try out Ali's new place. We were regular customers for years at Spices Wednesbury before Ali left and the wheels fell off. We thought we would try his new restaurant and turned the clock back.

absolutely fabulous, the food is to die for , the atmosphere is cracking, the staff could not be more helpful, this is another hidden little gem that you come across very rarely nowadays, I think its one of the best little restaraunts I've come across in a long while , BRILLIANT.

I have visited Ali’s Kitchen on 4 occasions since they opened and the food, the service and the atmosphere have been excellent on each occasion. The staff are extremely friendly and really make an effort to make you feel welcome. The decor is warm and cosy and the toilets are very clean. Every dish I have tried so far has been lovely...cannot fault the place and you can take your own alcohol which is a bonus!

What a BRILL place only small (it was a Thursday and so glad we booked because it got really busy) lovely Indian food and nice atmosphere. Good selection I don’t like hot curry’s so mentioned it to the owner Ali and my meal was cooked to just how I like it. Nothing too much trouble. We do not live locally but will not be our last.

What a hidden gem. Only small, so worth booking we nearly didn’t but REALLY glad we did because all tables became booked while we were there. Lovely food good atmosphere and nothing too much trouble. I don’t like hot curries so mentioned it to Ali the owner and my Pathia was cooked to perfection. I've known Ali for some years now and he has always kept good restaurants with top cuisine.

My family and I dined here yesterday evening for the first time. Located conveniently on great bridge high street, opposite the Lounge Bar for those familiar with the area, this is a family-friendly restaurant that is welcoming and modern with traditional and creative Indian dishes. This is a BYOB (bring your own booze) restaurant which is a huge advantage for the customer and the staff are only too happy to cork the bottle for you. For starters we had stuffed pepper, tandoori prawns, onion bhargi and chicken tikka, all of which were enjoyed and served in good time. When it come to ordering our mains, the staff were extremely helpful and informed in recommending dishes as we wished to try something different. We let them know our preferences and we were not disappointed. Each of mains were perfectly spiced, flavoured and cooked to our likings. The portion sizes were ideal and we all dined at leisure in the homely atmosphere. Throughout the evening our waiter was attentive and engaging. Our total bill for 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 poppadoms was £56 which was very competitive and value for money. The staff were kind enough to offer us coffees and mints. Overall, we will be definitely returning and recommend it to all.

Ali’s Kitchen has just expanded to include a sit down restaurant. We’ve loved the takeaways but a far more civilised approach was in order this evening. The platter was delicious, especially the fish and chicken pakora. I ordered the chicken garlic roasti and it’s piled high with garlic. The man were fresh and fluffy. I was meant to take a photo of the main courses but we ate them too fast. Worth the journey - free parking out front.
