Lovely staff the food is wonderful

Been here a number of times since their opening as well as having many takeaways delivered from there and I’ve always been pleased with the food. Last week I ordered my regular dish, a king prawn palek curry only to receive a dish which was unusually smelly, (even for fish) prawns which were chewy and certainly didn’t taste right. I immediately rang to complain thinking that my curry would be replaced but no, I was told the next time I went into the restaurant that I would be ‘looked after’ Tonight my husband took our granddaughter there for tea, it was a disaster. Not quite sure what has happened, if there is a new owner or even a new chef but we won’t be going back there. Overcharged on set menu, no discount given on the part of the meal we ordered to take out, food mediocre, constantly interrupted by waiters etc etc Be aware that despite there being no information that you pay 10% more if you pay with any type of card as apposed to cash, this also applies to takeaways. We will not return

Food was absolute delishh. Top of the class food served. Ayush and the rest of the staff were superb with the hospitality. Chef Youbraj delivered top quality food. Chef special was top class too. Would be my go to place if I am in the area. Thank you so much to the team at KESAR for the best in class experience 🙏

Kesar provides a beautiful blend of great Indian/Nepalese food with a lovely ambiance to make a dining experience for any occasion worthwhile. We went here with group of friends and every dish is so well made and curated to fit any palate. The customer service was impeccable and we enjoyed every bit of our dining experience here. We can’t wait to be back again!!

Lamb bhuna balti…. Waw! Food is always outstanding but this dish is beautiful! Melt in the mouth lamb with the most delicious flavours!

Food is average. It's a Bangladeshi Indian Restaurant and the same is reflected in the flavour. We were getting the raw taste of the spices in the curries. Ambience and service is good.

Always order from this place online. Have seen people say it is expensive however I’d say you get what you pay for. Never ever have I had a bad meal from this place l, always fresh and extremely well seasoned tasty food. Would 100% recommend

Love this spot i must have ate here 20-30 times. Love the lads and the relaxed no thrills atmosphere/decor. You can go here and stuff your face and bring a cupa few beers. Curries and starters are banging. Not a grill spot though its a curry place at heart so don't expect that 10/10 mixed grill, get a curry 100%

The food was vyummy and the person attending was vhelpful and made food according to our taste. Highly recommended

Always the best Asian cuisine around for miles in my opinion, staff are brilliant and they always send me a tub of chopped coriander to add to my already well cooked meal. Never go any where else, this establishment is 💯%

First time i have had a delivery from this restaurant. Have always had a delivery from another restaurant which has sadly lacked in quality. So gave these a try. Have to say the food was outstanding as was delivery and service. A bit more expensive but well worth it. Thanks guys will be coming to you from now on.

Lovely food best curry I've had,

I had a chicken biryani from these guys and it was lovely. The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant is also classy.

Delicious food, piping hot and delivered within 30minutes. This is the 2nd time we've had a delivery and both times brilliant. We ate in a couple of weeks ago and that also was delicious. Staff lovely

First time here is very nice meal we had the special that's on at the moment... The food was top notch and very good friendly service and nice atmosphere.. there was also parking right outside. Will definitely go again had a lovely time for valentines with my wife.

Got food late 45 minutes. GOT HAIT, WHITE LONG HAIR IN MY PARATHA...ordered lamb tikka masala and its sweet curry like chocolate, when complained, Mr. H, MANAGER SAID ITS MOST POPULAR SWEET DISH, ..IN EARTH WHERE LAMB TIKKA MASALA IS SWEEET....thrown to bin...sending all evidence to health and safety now...And most surprising, No apology at all from restaurant...

Nice food but overpriced for the portions sadly. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. also halal which is great! For my fellow brothers and sisters thinking of coming here I wouldn't say I don't suggest it just be weary as the food is very watered down in flavor compared to traditional Pakistani/ Asian curries.

This is an amazing curry house!! Go here all the time!! Customer service is always spot on as they always try and help and accommodate your needs and are always on hand! Food is always very tasty and hot and has a menu to cater for everyone! Nice decent sized restaurant and has spotless toilets! Would definitely recommend this place if your out for a curry and a few beers

Legitimately the best restaurant around Wednesbury. Doesn’t matter what I get I end up liking it. My partner and I have been eating here for a few years now. They make the best curries and the waiters are welcoming and kind special H great service overall. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered chicken biryani and chicken jalfriezi, considering it was local it needed to be warmed up, 6 tiny pieces of chicken in the biryani, completely lacking in spices had to add my own.. poor quality won't be ordering again !

We regularly have food delivered, I'm vegetarian and my wife is vegan. The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating to dietary needs. The food is always excellent and arrives hot and in good time. We are looking forward to trying out the restaurant.

Delicious food from the kesar. Ordered a few times for takeaway but most recently ate in and it was even better. It’s great as a takeaway but 5* eating in. Garlic achari is a delicious curry, and their chicken pathia is one of the best we have tried. Can’t rate this restaurant any higher, everything we have tried has been delicious.

First time eaten here. We usually order takeaways which have always been excellent but enjoyed there Sunday offer which was reasonable and tasted great.

The food really is top notch! They are not licenced so remember to take drink if needed but there is a shop around the corner if not. The curry we had was so fresh and food and really great value.

Best restaurant in Wednesbury get ya selfs down asap

Came here for the 1st time with my family for Mother’s Day as was recommended by my mum who regularly eats here. The customer service was discusting! As its our 1st time we wasn't aware that there was a set menu. And we didn't discover this until we over heard the table beside us. As we wasn't given the option when seated and menus was handed to us as only the standard menu so we ordered from that. We then discovered that when you walked in there are leaflets with the set menus if you haven't been here before how are you expected to know. Other curry houses give you the option of both menus at your table to give you the option. So when we paid as we had ordered a starter curry and rice we told the man we have 1 set menu. He was very sharp and rude saying well you can't have that as you didn't ask for it?? As said we wasn't given the option and didn't know and he kept insisting that it's basically our own fault we didnt order it and that he won't honor the deal. Yes it's only a difference of a few pound but that's but not the point. If you want returning customers you would say that's OK no problem I'll do it for you but next time ask before ordering.. This has totally put me off from returning again and for him being so rude about it that is not how you treat your customers! Especially when my mum is a regular I won't be recommending you to anyone and maybe in the future you will give other customers the option of both menus at the table as this is really poor customer service.

Best food in the west midlands

Well food came to fast was very cold items missed of the the oder after spending 40 pounds not even a popperdom even tho they sent salad for it very dissatisfied never ever order there again. Tho previously orderes was beautiful very disappointed

Had my bday meal hear starters was OK but rest of food come out warm and cold not hot thought they were rushing everything out and got things wrong might have been cause there was 17 of us but any other time when there's less of you food Is spot on.

This was our first time visiting The Kesar for a takeaway. Restaurant clean and staff friendly. Unlicensed, so bring your own drinks. Opted for Chicken Shashlick Bhuna and a Chicken Pathia. % off the price for collecting. Food was some of the best tasting we've had in a while. Will definitely be returning either for another takeaway or to dine in.

10/10 food Staff were polite and well spoken. This,was our first visit. We will definitely be making this our regular, as I've become fed up of driving up to brum for a regular night out for the 2 of us.

Food was nice the only downfall is that I ordered 2 half portion currys and 1 nan bread to be delivered 3 streets away from restaurant and it cost £16.seems alot and very expensive.never paid that much from here before won't he ordering again

The waiter was excellent and the food was out of this world.. I must say I can't fault it whatsoever.. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed..

Was by far best curry I've had in ages. Chicken was soft, white chunks. Sauce was just right. Rice was perfect 👌 will use here from now on 😊

Have used this restaurant for a few years and it's very very hard to find one with better food! Always accommodating with changes to dishes and it's never a problem, quick delivery and super friendly staff. 💯 Will be back to dine in after lockdown.

We are so fussy when it comes to Indian food as I like the best. This place is the best. We have ordered a takeaway weekly throughout COVID (and beyond!). Cannot fault the food. The service is impeccable. We had wrong delivery and so apologetic. Kept that delivery and delivered ours quickly. Quite rightly, we were unable to send the other delivery back- very covid secure. Double food 🙌 Very professional, consistently great food and safe.

The worst food in my life they burnt the chops and no difference b/t tondoori lamb and lamb chops even they burnt Nan that were the worst part be honest do not eat from this restaurant you will wast ur money I wast my £22.50 but I can save your one. And when I eaten the food pain start in my stomach be carefull. Dear owner please sort out your food we are humans not animals.
