The new release gaffers keep putting up the beer every month. A few months back the carling was 310 a pint then a month later 330 a pint. Last week in April it was 350 a pint god help the punters on coronation wikend hope u ar carrying a load of money u will need it.

It was wonderful experience. Bharat sir was very nice and polite with amazing service. Made us feel special. Will definitely come again here and recommend others as well.

Had Chicken momos and they were delicious. Also if you want Nepali beer (Gurkha beer) you'll get it here. The chicken tarkari curry was delicious. Loved it overall.

Have had a few takeaways from here and it's always bang on,sometimes I've dropped in and ordered and then took it home, have ordered online to so it gets delivered,,tonight we went and ate in the restaurant,the Manager is always so friendly and attentive,the food was amazing too,definately will be gettin more food from here again there's no doubt about that.

Very nice place to go for a drink or have food, maybe a bit of both… asked for the managers opinion on a curry for a mild to medium spiced curry and he advised a lovely one, Methi Murgh Malai and it was very tasty and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Definitely will eat here again and advise others to do so too. Best curry we have had in ages with beautiful flavour. Hats off to the chefs.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. They made us eat in a pub area where the tables were filthy. The manager, Jody, was shockingly rude. She got our order completely wrong, made us wait an absurd amount of time for our food, and acted arrogant when we expressed our disappointment. To top it off, the food was below average—definitely not worth the hassle or the wait. The entire experience was appalling. Avoid this place at all costs!

Good place. Went there twice - once in a pre-booked birthday party. The food and the party hall were nice (good sound and lights). Next time went there to watch a football match - nice bar and had a descent collection of beer on taps. Following football match, we went to the other side (restaurant) to have a dinner. Momo served there was good and also loved the naan and Lamb Rasilo.

My family and I visited the Lounge Bar Saturday evening, we were blown away by the whole experience. I have visited many Asian food restaurants and have been to India over 20 times, and all I can say is that the food in the Lounge Bar is literally the best I’ve ever had the good fortune of eating. Out of this world! The flavours, the freshness, the cooking.. all aspects just wonderful. As for the staff, well they were just as amazing, friendly, polite, helpful and sincere. The ambiance and the decor were also fantastic. The icing on the cake was when the staff brought out a cake and candles and sang happy birthday to my dad. A truly wonderful restaurant and experience. Thank you ❤️

Excellent food as usual, it’s rare to find a restaurant who are as consistent as these guys on takeaway or Nepalese/Indian that travel so well compared to eat in !

Amazing food, arrived slightly earlier than expected, which was great as it was late and we were all hungry. Friendly delivery driver. We all enjoyed every dish and had ordered including some vegetarian dishes which we hadn't tried before. The rice was fresh and tasty, nan breads were just right and all of the food was hot and fresh. We highly recommend.

First time visiting and was impressed, the restaurant was fresh and clean, service was fast and really professional, the food was really tasty and portions were good, we even took the leftovers home.

I recently dined at The Lounge bar was met with a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While the ambiance was undeniably charming, with its rustic, modern, cozy, the food fell short of expectations. The garlic chicken chilli was a standout.was truly exceptional. It was a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. However, this bright spot was overshadowed by the rest of the meal.

I was just passing by and remembered how good their amritsari kulcha is and popped in for that. The food never disappoints.

This is not a totally horrendous review, as when I found this venue I was happy nicely presented, clean, bar up stairs separate space for your food. However that’s where it stops. I was told holds 130 people that’s how many I catered for so 13 tables of 10 that’s 13 table cloths 130 chair covers paid for and stated would be provided. I was told can get into the room at 11.00 on the morning of the party to decorate room. Got there for 11 room was dirty had not been cleaned from previous party the night before; Chair covers had not been changed, the table cloths was the only thing that had been changed. The staff were sorting through dirty chair covers to try and find clean ones we had to hoover, sweep and clean the room ourselves as kept being promised a cleaner at 13.00 no cleaner ever came. We had to change the chair covers staff were doing this but had no rush to them, a snail moves quicker to be honest, when trying to speak to them about issues and what you have paid for they would try and put you off and do it what ever way they were suggesting, then they would start to speak in their language and laugh this is just rude. This was done on the many issues we occurred whilst trying to get the room ready as we had to get the room finished to get back home to changed, you don’t expect to have to clean your own room and get chair covers on when this is what you had been promised. There is not 130 chairs either, trying to convince me did not need anymore, 130 people need chairs! however this ended with them bringing chairs from the restaurant and trying to suggest they would not need chair covers and they would not fit. The chair covers DO fit these chairs just FYI in case anyone ever has same problem. I had to tie sashes onto the chairs to try and hide dirty chair covers as no more cleanish left from the dirty pile that had been already been sorted through. I had advised it was a large party many many times was told this would not be a problem. The beer upstairs tasted “funny” bottles had to be changed as they had mould on labels - this got done. Beer upstairs has not got the full range of beers, but if you go downstairs then so called regulars moan when you go down for a normal tasting pint or ones that are not supplied up stairs oh and it’s cheaper so they dig about that too. The separate food room is great, again that’s where it stops. Tables are every height they do not match or run smoothly around the room. I was told there would be extra tables in this room when I went to view the room for the food as I asked that question as there was only one long waist height and two smaller wooden ones. This again turned into a stressful situation as initially told haven’t got anymore tables, then was told they would be hard to get as they would need to be brought up from down stairs. I managed after several conversations and telling them when booking I’d ask about this I got one extra table. Had to ask several times for table cloths for the food tables, this again had been spoken about when booking. Once the party had started and after a very stressful and testing few hours running late due to all the inconveniences it was OK. The barmaid was fantastic very accommodating and very helpful in every way she could be I thank her for that she is amazing. It’s an ok place but just leave yourself time if you have the issues I had and don’t expect to get what you was promised when booking unless you ask several times and have to continue to be adamant on what you wanted and was promised. They could really have a nice space on their hands if they gave you what they promised and came through with what they say when booking, it would be a lovely little place then.

Beautiful food! So happy we found The Lounge. Ordered a lamb curry, and the mixed grill. Lamb in the curry was cooked to perfection! So juicy and tender and amazing with all the spices! Absolutely amazing food,I’ve been coming here to eat for a few months now. It’s a real hidden gem,I really recommend the Nepalese dishes so much more balanced and flavourful. The tikka is freshly cooked and so juicy, and they do the best mixed grill around.
