Standard Tandoori Restaurant in Sandwell

2nd dec . Visited this evening . Food was piping hot and Tasty . Hospitality could not fault . My friend was a little cold he couldn’t do enough went and got a heater to make sure she was warmer and more comfy . Thank you so much 😊

Delivered on time, Great tasting food and hot

driver delivered my food to the wrong address, after calling the restaurant, an employee redelivered my food and was very apologetic. great customer service

Food was as always very very good, however the guy waiting on us left a lot to be desired. The restaurant was cold and we were given a tiny little heater next to us which barely gave any heat out. Like I said food is always great here which is literally what you want at a restaurant but some of our group had to eat wearing their coats which is not what you expect. During the winter period I think we should expect a nice warm atmosphere to enjoy our meal. I'd still recommend as I've said before food is good but a little more thought is needed by management.

Usually always amazing but the madras tonight was not madras it was not spicy at all not even a little bit tasted exactly like the balti I am a regular customer had plenty of madras before this one was not hot. The other food was nice though.

I ordered three tikka chicken Madras Currys and paid for them and received normal chicken curry with the chicken dry and tough not very happy

The curries were both very bland, had zero spice to them, didn’t enjoy them at all today, usually i adore this restaurant but todays food wasn’t nice

Wonderful food quick service can’t complain but would probably recommend not putting chapati in small bag as we all thought it was the onion salad bit u normally get with the mint yogurt sauce x

Food was cold on arrival. Lamb madras the meat was tough and chewy. The sauce of the madras was over spicy, you couldn't taste anything else, but the spice. I would never order food from here again. I was very disappointed, and I feel like I have wasted my money.

I will be honest I love the food it was absolutely amazing but I got the wrong item I ordered Egg Fried Rice and I got Fried Rice but food it great

A real hidden gem - fantastic food and lovely service. The sharing starter platter comes on a sizzling hot plate and is delicious, whilst the lamb tikka madras paired with lemon rice is to die for! Great value too, it’s rare these days to be pleasantly surprised when your bill arrives! Looking forward to returning

new to the area and was a bit nervous of ordering from a new place but great choice of restaurant.. the food is really good. the lamb was soft. definitely ordering again. hats off to the chefs.

The biryani rice is under cooked, and absolutely no salt in the food. In the mixed grill, the lamb or mutton kebab or grill was not fully cooked. I think it appears they prepared this in hurry.

Tasty food, but the meat curries had barely any meat in them. Literally 2 pieces of chicken in the butter chicken, and 2 or 3 pieces of lamb in the lamb makhani. Quite unimpressed.

Food was not good, there was no salt in curry. we have ordered garlic naan but we received plane naam even stuffed paratha was not tasty. looks like leftover mix veg is used to fill paratha. would not recommend to order from this restaurant.

Ordered food from here on the 27th the restaurant accepted the order of £33.95.said the restaurant was preparing the food all good. Eventually the driver was on the way to the restaurant bear in Mind I ordered this an hour ago had a update to say my ordered was cancelled with no reason. Called the restaurant the man who was speaking on the phone put the phone down on me Three times ! The next time I call up again this time on a different phone. he answers again and says no English ! That he cannot speak English! I immediately say I want to speak with the manager right now.all of a sudden someone else comes on saying he can see the Order and it was cancelled by Deliveroo and they have no part in it and we should call Deliveroo. Which I thought was bull however I called Deliveroo and was told the restaurant cancelled the order not them. This place is rubbish and scummy. I would not recommend from ordering online with them.

Food was nice, I was looking for a new curry place to order from, they have tandoori as well which is actually hard to find... Having spent £70 I would of hoped for something thrown in for free however small

Is under a new new management. With the previous management think there was alot more food choices. Used to do a egg musalla which the new management does not do. Food still tastes good but think the previous management had more choices. Also feel that even though the food still tastes good tastes the same. Need to do dishes so taste different.

Placed the order at 18.40 , still waiting at 20.00, called the restaurant who told me food was in the way , still waiting at 20.55 so yet again I called the restaurant to ask where my delivery was ,the told me the food was being delivered to me in the next 10 minutes ...food arrived at 09.05 !!! Food was cold ,nan bread soggy. Called the restaurant he apologised but no offer of a refund or a free meal in place of the spoilt late meal that I'd ordered .... sadly won't be ordering again

Over half an hour late, food was cold and biriani was like mush. Rice was so overcooked and it tasted bad.

Very sad to say we had a bad experience on Saturday 13th January, this was due to lack of staff and continuous take aways. The problem was the wait time and been very cold, the priority was the take away service which took first place. As there was only one member of staff he was taking the orders and seeing to the delivery people. It was very cold in the restaurant and due to the continuous footfall they was bringing in the cold from outside. We waited a long long time between courses, but the food was very good.

Normally very good.Last night was terrible freezing cold in restaurant only one person serving tables extremely long wait for food starters and main meals. more interested in take away orders outside door to street constantly opening did not enjoy food due to feeling so cold.

Normally have no issues here. This time Ordered with the delivery time of 35-50 mins. However, this kept getting delayed and pushed back. Received order 2 hours and 15 mins after ordering. Even after calling the restaurant. This should have been clear at the start or not taking the order if too busy. I’d have cancelled if I knew it was going to take that long.

Food was late but only to be expected I suppose for a Saturday evening but Food still great,always my favourite restaurant

Friendly and accommodating restaurant. Always have a great curry and a great night here. Superb value and BYOB. Good menu and food always arrives hot, fresh and full of flavour. Try it- you won't be dissapointed!

Food was not edible. The chicken tikka curry was very sweet (like with a lot of sugar/sweetners) and I could not eat it. I expected this to be savoury with some salt. Naan was like fried bread. I will not be ordering again.

Chicken tikka massala wasnt even mild and sweet, it was more like medium spiced. And mushroom rice was bland.

Very nice hot food…delivered around 30 minutes early which was great as we were starving…..ordered the South Indian garlic chilli chicken x2, pilau rice, garlic + chicken tikka naan, naan and received free poppadums, mint yogurt and onion garnish…the curry was perfectly spiced and a great consistency with plenty of chicken tikka in them and not dripping with ghee like so many other places…naans we’re both piping hot and not soggy, just how you would want to get them…will certainly be ordering ag

I’ve been using this place for over 30 years but the curry is nowhere near as good as it used to be. The Madras was not hot enough and everything had too much tomato in. Very disappointed.

Food great as always only thing wrong was I ordered 2 bottles of pop and only 1 bottle of pop came phoned up and ok we will get it out to you then had a phone call back saying that as the restaurant is closed now the driver turned off his phone so they told me to message them when I ordered next time

Wow .... my partner comes from London and was astounded with the flavors going on with this food. Absolutely fantastic food and flavor. This is a special find restaurant, run of the mill high street gem! Fabulous beautiful people and food. Make an experience here, you won't be disappointed. Happy taste buds happy people. Not at all indian taste. Moreover Naan was like soaked bread. Matar paneer and do pyaaza tasted the same (tasteless). Paneer Tikka starter was like hard fried bread.

We ordered extra veg in the tikka but there was none :(

I have ordered the same lamb balti from here for over 10 years,,, it has always been delicious,,, tonight was disgusting, it looked a funny colour, it had no flavour, and the lamb was cold and tasteless. Needless to say, I won’t be going back again…..

I know everyone has their own favourite curry house but we gave this a try for the first time and have been back since, chose somthing off the menu that I hadn't had before anywhere and really enjoyed it, take your own alcohol and the naan breads are fantastic,cash only.

Very good staff and their food is excellent just tell the counter person how you like your curry and they will make it the way you want it couldn't ask for more
