Always used to order from here, food is great however this time I only received 1 piece of fish pokara from the boneless mixed grill when before they used to give a few pieces. Should just take it off the item list for boneless mixed grill rather than sending one piece out!

First time ordering & definitely will not be the last! The boneless mixed grill was absolutely amazing! QUALITY!! Butter chicken was superb. Naan bread was so nice!! The food arrived HOT (& we live a distance). Little skimpy on the onion salad would be only criticism lol. Fantastic first impression Fox Tavern 👍 Thank you!! 🙏

Food it was delicious, fresh, tasty and the right amounts. We will definitely recommend and come back to order from here. The delivery driver was kind and careful with how he handled the food.

I ordered a chicken masala off uber eats from this place and it was as though they'd chucked some chunks of chicken in one of them home made sauces you can buy in a jar. First and last time I'll order from here.

Great food although we was waiting longer than expected, rang the restaurant and they explained they were waiting on a driver from just eat. When we rang again they delivered themselves top service thank you

we have ordered and enjoyed tge food everytime we have eaten from here, although tonight the chicken tikka and Acharie chicken was very spicy, my daughter could not eat her meal. we were also missing the garlic Naan bread. other than these issues the food was nice

This place is just awesome. Authentic Indian food with such good aroma & taste. Clay pot chicken curry is highly recommended - It is just delicious. Very good service by the staff as well.

Absolutely disgusting food. Me and my two children couldn’t eat any of it. The butter Chicken curry was literally thin tomato soup with a few chicken chunks. The large mix grill was over cooked and tasteless. The Balti curry had way too much onions and peppers. The nan bread was really thin and not a full nan bread. The only thing my children ate was the rice. Honestly feel like I should have a refund.

Live in the flats next to the fox tavern and love coming here my go to restaurant food is amazing worth the price definitely

Fair play to the Fox Tavern… 1st order had split in the bag and portion of Chicken Choila was very small, but phoned them to complain and they resent the whole order again, which was 1st class… thank you Fox Tavern 👍👍👍

Chicken tika masala tasted like canned tomato soup. Chips tasted like plasticine. Mixed grill average. Sauce tubes had one drip worth of sauce in them.

My boyfriend and I stumbled across The Fox Tavern by chance but we were so pleased! The food was so delicious (we ordered butter chicken, onion friend rice, chicken momo and peshwari naan) and we were so happy and content when we finished it all! Very very good food, at a very reasonable price.

Recently under new ownership and remodelled as a bar and indian grill with a slight twist from the usual.. they serve Nepaese/ Himalayan food. :) If you like your Chinese and Indian food, why not try them? I'd never done Nepalese food before and found it a refreshing change from the usual offerings. They have some great fusion chinese/indian combination dishes and don't miss the opportunity to try a momo. ;) Bar is quite basic,, as to be expected for a local pub in whiteheath.. But the food is worthy,, not sure about delivery, but they do do takeaway also. Nice to see something a bit different from the norm around the area,, hopefully they make it a success. X

One of the best curries I have ever had the pleasure to eat, fabulous staff, great atmosphere, lovely surroundings, what more can one ask for. If you want something different and absolutely delicious please take a trip to The Fox Tavern, I personally can't wait to visit again and I only went last night.

Ordered takeaway through online order. Very easy,extremely quick as you can pick hour time slot. Food was picked up and ready for the time slot. Food was great portion size a nd great taste. Would definitely reccomend. Looking forward to ordering more next time ad this was the first time we had tried this place. I think we will be replacing our old place we order from for this place it was that good!

Very good food, one of my friend recommends and we went all the way from Bilston but it was worthy. Quality one mix grill with decent price, very testy chicken momos (dim-sim) with test chutney, they have good children menu as well. Over all delicious food and atmosphere what ales you expect when you go out thanks chef Lila and team.

Family catch up-managed to seat us all near each other. Variety of foods I had prawns we also had fish pakoras(nice size portion) and garlic fried rice.Others had lamb bhuna- chicken masala huge tikka wraps all really good.

We were sent the wrong naan - wouldn’t have been good if we had an allergy as it said cheese and garlic on the bag but it was defiantly a peshwari naan.

Always order from here and its always good but this time was shocking. I don’t know if they have a new chef but the chicken madras was really watery with tiny little bits of chicken it was not worth it. Its usually big chunks with a thicker sauce. Not impressed.

Had a takeaway from here through Uber eats and it was delicious! Came very hot, with all the food we ordered + poppadoms + dips. Had a large mixed grill and it was very delicious, naans were huge and a good portion of chips. Samosas were also very nice and fresh. Would have again!

First time ordering, will be our regular from now on, Christmas day delivery & it was perfect
