The best restaurants serving Indian food in Walsall West Midlands

Food is top notch, very nice portions especially on currys enough to feed two easy.. mixed grills are very nice. Service great and bar prices decent too,even got cobra on tap . Highly recommend Big up the Bradford 2025 nuff love

Thought we would try this place tonight being as a poster is outside saying that it had won an award. The missus had her usual meal that she has from every Indian restaurant we ever try , which was Mixed veg biriyani , tarka dhal side dish and this time had a peshawari naan. She said the biriyani didn't seem like it used fresh vegetables and tasted like everything had come out of a tin and had been microwaved. The tarka dhal was the worst. Now when I've seen her have this before , it has been jam packed with lentils and garlic slices in a thick sauce with usually a layer of oil on the top where it has settled. The one from here was watery , had really no lentils or garlic in it and was just watery. She said the whole meal was bland and tasteless , but did seem peppery Now , I had mushroom rice , which seemed ok and a chicken rogan josh , which had tomatoes in it , which it should , but something in the curry had a vinegary taste , so not nice. The keema naan didn't seem to have an meat in it , as I could see , as usually from other Indian restaurants we have used , they sell keema naans that have a bright red keema meat in them. The yoghurt mint dip we were given to accompany the poppadoms , looked grey instead of creamy green , so much so , that my other half didn't even eat it ( I'll reserve my judgement yet , as I havent tried it yet). The restaurant has good decor , but being as it is in Bentley , the area isn't a good one and the site where it is , isn't the best , having two burnt out retail units nearby. Anyhow , not the worst curry , but not the best we have had , so much so , that i don't think we will have a return visit here.

We came in for the mid week special. It’s amazing value and the curry was absolutely stunning. Everyone is so nice and always looks after us so well. You can take your own drinks. Appreciate the complimentary baileys and chocolate too. Absolutely lush. Pop here for a curry and then there is the gem that is hop station next door. Perfect mid week date night ❤️

Good food, good decor, great service, will definitely reccomend and revisit. Good atmosphere and nice decor. I will say one thing when we had the tea please maje sure your mugs are not chipped or have tea stains on it as this is a let down on your perfect food. Good location and parking is available.

My family have used the Clove for years now and have never had a disappointed meal!!Service is always with a smile and delivered speedily. We have chosen probably most dishes on the menu and cannot fault the heat or description given for the meal. Exactly what you need to know when picking something new. Can't wait for our visit - sooon.

Well we stumbled upon this place passing through and what a treat it was! Little gem of a place, the atmosphere was great, the service was great, the prices were amazing and the food was really good. Hope to be passing through again - so we can go again! Thanks

I came here the other night with my girlfriend and we were greeted by a gentleman named Ray, we then had excellent customer service for the rest of the night. The food was absolutely beautiful whilst the interior design and atmosphere were second to none 👍🏻 highly recommend to anyone

Absolutely terrible really bad food curry had3 peices of chicken in whole chicken tikka ! Very bad watered down food !
