Zeera's in Walsall

Great, tasty food. Good value for money. Small place with limited seating but deserves more attention. Service was also great.

I but it was late only due to the time just eat gave but still warm when arrived

Ordered food at 19:36 was told it was delivered at 20:35 still waited until 22:05 for delivery. Had 3 hungry children who should have been in bed. To top it off the naan breads were cold not too even warm.. not sure what happened really as when I checked the delivery it states it was delivered at 20:35…

Food was beautiful. Wish menu was more explained. I eat Indian a lot and ended up with of very similar dishes. Had I known I'd of ordered different. Nargic chicken tikka main is absolutely off the hook if you like it hot. I had vindaloo with it which was fine but would of had something different. Either way excellent food

Food super oily & naan bread burnt & cold

Use every week, with no problems. But tonight, chips had been cooked, cooked & cooked again, they where rock hard outside and inside. Also curries where cold.

Lovely food BUT when it finally arrived an hour late it was cold and it had to be warmed up in the microwave.

If you want to wait 2 hours then get lukewarm food then by all means use this restaurant. The order was late despite them sending a text saying it was on the way. Truth is it hadn't even left. I certainly will never use these again and i would advise anyone reading this to do the same.

We received our order 20 minutes later than the given time. However, we were notified to say it would be late and when the food is THAT BEAUTIFUL, you let it slide. Will 100% be ordering from there again.

Makani is one off the best sweet and creamy dishes ever and the vindaloo is better than ever.

food was late and chips missing but restaurant offered to send chips i declined as rest of food would have been stone cold as it was already 30mins late so i asked them to redo whole order and they did so fair play to them

Items missing. Food was late. Food crushed. And the bag of chips where floating around in the carrier due to the massive whole in the bag. Half of the food was hot and half of it cold and hard. I genuinely don't think the delivery would have turned up either if I hadn't had called to locate it. Been ordering from here for years and never had an issue but it has honestly put me off

I didn't receive my food order. So is quite hard to say what to think. Cheers up for the restaurant and see you tomorrow.

Food was 50 mins late and when I called it took 5 mins to even find my order. I was told they only had one driver on shift when I called. I never complain but shouldn’t take so many orders if they can’t cope. Food tasted ok after I’d microwaved it. Very cold.

Great food, best curry we've had in ages.

Food was delivered on time and was piping hot which is great. However our Chicken Tikka Masala tasted overly of garlic which ruined it for us.

I always use zeera and usually I’m not disappointed but this occasion the meat had lumps of fat in it and it was hard chips were burnt just a fail overall I don’t think I’ll be returning

So we ordered : Chicken Tikka Vindaloo Chicken Jaipuri Chicken Jalfrezi Garlic Naan well done Sheek kebab starter Growing up around the Brum Balti Triangle, we became familiar with the good, the bad, and the ugly over many years tasting various dishes. Moving to Walsall we seemed to find it difficult to get the range of flavours and quality we had become accustomed to. The 3 curries we ordered literally an hour ago were as good as anything from Birmingham over the years. The 3 main gripes with Walsall Indian or Bangladeshi restaurants we have tried are Naan bread are never cooked enough, curries are slightly watery ( maybe from condensation ) and hard chicken tikka and an overall lack of flavour Zeera's naan was lovely, well done and crispy. All curries were lovely and thick with no water retention whatsoever. I have never jumped straight onto TripAdvisor to leave a review so quickly after finishing a meal, but all the food was of the highest quality. Well done Zeera's for restoring our faith in Walsall Asian cuisine.

20 minutes late food was cold :(

Rogan josh lacked flavour and spice, barely any meat in it. The meat was flavourless too. Garlic and cheese naan had no cheese in it. Chips and poppadoms were the best part of the meal.

The food is excellent from Zeera ! Staff are very polite and friendly.

The sheek kababs were beautiful and fresh and tasty and so was everything else.

Very, very oily tonight. So much so, that I had to spoon it out and there was still loads of oil left. Containers weren't full and the sauce was of a weak taste. Beautiful bread and rice however, but so full of oil we had to leave it.

Fantastic food. The aloo I ordered was out of this world. The lamb was perfect. Naan was on point, really nice. Really quick service. The only thing I'd say that was a bit meh was the duck was a little too tough for me. The portion sizes were great and the amount of meat was surprisingly good too. Around brilliant. Would recommend all day long. Good job.

Althoufh the food was on time the food was awful! Chips were rock hard and burnt. Cheesy garlic naan had no cheese, and the rogan josh was like a mouth full of salt. Threw it in the bin! Won't order again!

The balti keema was excellent and full of flavour..

Plastic boxes leaked in the bag : not first time. Perhaps put the lids on more securely? Hint... I think there should be more descriptions of the dishes. A curry recipe will vary from one establishment to the next.

Delivered over an hour late!! Made over 100 attempts to contact restaurant but was constantly engaged!! Ended up driving to restaurant to see what was going on as no means of getting money back without being able to get through.... meal was then delivered 1hr & 15mins late and was also cold. Reluctantly, the management gave us some vouchers towards another meal.... which will likely be the last time we order. Shame really as the food was nice once heated up!!

Have food from here often but tonight has made us not want it again. Ordered food with 50 min ETA - chased - Just eat advised would be another 50 mins. Still no food. Tried to call the restaurant a ridiculous amount of times and could never get through. Food arrived an additional 25/30 mins later. Food was cold and not very enjoyable.

We placed an order 18.40, delivery was meant to be at 19.30 the food arrived at 20.45, over 2 hours from when the order was placed. When the food came, we asked the delivery man if the food was still hot as we waited so long he said it should be. The food was Luke warm, nice tasting food but not hot, ended up microwaving it half way through, which isn’t what you want when you order a takeaway. Tried to call the restaurant for over 40 minutes when we were waiting but constantly engaged.

Chicken Tikka Shashlik Bhuna was great and very tasty and the chicken was succulent and tender..

Food was nearly a hour late and the excuse was the delivery car had been stolen. When the food got here it was cold and wasn’t worth the 2 hour wait

Placed an order on Saturday 29th January @ 18:30 pm. had a notification to say the order would be delivered @ 19:05. Had another to say the food was on its way, then another to say the food was delayed till 19:25. Then another @ 19:30 to say the order had further been delayed till 19:50. The food did arrive eventually at 19:50. but when we went to serve the food it was cold. Rang Zeera to explain, the person on the other end of the phone did not apologies for the inconvenience, but just said ring again next time an I will sort something out. Didn't take my name or address and ended the phone call.

Lovely tasting food, Zeera Special rolls are very nice and juicy...

Disappointed with the tikka masala red this evening, not as thick/creamy as usual and only a few pieces of chicken. Enjoyed the extra poppadoms and onion salad though

The jalfrezi vindaloo is one of the best tasting balti's I have ever had...

I pre ordered for a set time 3 hours before I wanted it and was still late by hour ,Food was warm and salad was dry

Took over 2 hours to come called them 68 times constant busy then when they did answer they put phone down. When food did come chicken was chewy don’t think it was cooked, and rice was cold. Very disappointed
